Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. (Ohio time) Monday at the First Baptist Church, 134 W. Walnut St., Bradford, Ohio, where services will be held at 10 a.m. (Ohio time) Tuesday. Rev. Dane Driver will officiate. Burial will be at the Harris Creek Cemetery in Bradford, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bradford, Ohio, Fire and Rescue Department.

The Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, 131 W. Oakwood St., Bradford, Ohio, is in charge of arrangements.

Margaret Petre

Margaret Petre, Huntington, died at her home Monday (July 8, 2002).

McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Patricia A. Murray

Patricia A. Stepnowski Murray, 72, rural Huntington, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday (July 7, 2002) at her home.

The family will hold private calling hours and services Wednesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel.

Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Huntington County.

Preferred memorials are to the Parkview Home Health Care and Hospice, in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.

Velta I. Lininger

Velta Irene Lininger, 91, Huntington, died at 4:45 p.m. Thursday (July 4, 2002) at The Heritage of Huntington.

Calling will be from 3-7 p.m. Monday at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Pastor Wayne D. Pierce will officiate. Burial will be at the Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County.

Preferred memorials are to the Union Church, 3688E-400N, Huntington, IN 46750.

Dale E. Fry

Dale Edwin Fry, 62, 7327 Fyxen Run, Roanoke, died Thursday (July 4, 2002) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling was from 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Peace Lutheran Church, 4400 Fairfield Ave., Fort Wayne, with Rev. James Teasdale officiating.

Burial will be at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, Wells County.

Preferred memorials are to Peace Lutheran Church or the Roanoke Beautification Foundation.

Janet D. Kistler

Janet Dawn Kistler, 36, Fort Wayne, died at 2:25 p.m. Sunday (July 7, 2002) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd., Fort Wayne. The family will hold private services at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House at Riley Children’s Hospital or the Allen County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Sister Kathleen Bauer

Sister Kathleen Bauer, 85, a resident of St. Mary’s Convent in Notre Dame, died at her home Sunday (July 7, 2002).

A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Loretto, St. Mary’s, Notre Dame, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545N. Zendix Dr., South Bend, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of the Holy Cross Ministry with the Poor Fund, St. Mary’s, Notre Dame IN 46556.

Phyllis A. Paul

Phyllis Ann Young Paul, a former resident of Huntington, died Tuesday (July 9, 2002) in Dallas, Texas.

Arrangements are pending at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home in Huntington.

Kenneth M. Harrold

Kenneth M. Harrold, 83, a resident of the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday (July 9, 2002) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel, Bluffton, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church, Bluffton. Services will be held at the church at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Rev. Bob Heimach will officiate.

Burial will be at the Stahl Cemetery, Petroleum.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Youth Group in Bluffton.

Mark B. Winebrenner

Mark B. Winebrenner, 94, Bradenton, Fla., died at 1 p.m. June 28, 2002, at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lancaster Cemetery with Rev. Bill Rapp officiating.

Preferred memorials are to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1179, Bradenton, FL 34206.

Phyllis Ann Young Paul, 71, Dallas, Texas, and formerly of Huntington, died Tuesday (July 9, 2002) at RHD Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Calling is 5-8 p.m. Sunday, with recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m., at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson St., with Father Gary Sigler and Father Chris Young officiating.

Burial will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Joseph A. Miller

Joseph A. Miller, 24, 297 Vine St., Roanoke, died at 10:58 p.m. Wednesday (July 10, 2002) from injuries he received in an automobile accident at U.S.-24 and CR 1000N near Roanoke.

Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Roanoke Memorial Funeral Chapel, 240 Crestwood Dr., Roanoke.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke, with Rev. Ron Burns officiating.

Preferred memorials are to the Ashlyn J. and Aidan F. Miller Trust Fund, in care of Roanoke Memorial Funeral Chapel, 240 Crestwood Dr., Roanoke, IN 46783.

Max M. Gray

Max M. Gray, 80, of rural Huntington County, died at 8 p.m. Thursday (July 11, 2002) at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Arrangements are pending at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, Warren.

Jeanne A. Voris

Jeanne A. Voris, 79, a former resident of Huntington and Angola, died at 10:15 p.m. Thursday (July 11, 2002) at the Shiawassee County Medical Facility, Corunna, Mich. She had lived in Corunna the past five years.

Calling was from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the Weicht Funeral Home, 207 N. West St., Angola, where services were held at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Jim Hulbert officiating.

Burial will be at Pleasant Lake Cemetery, Pleasant Lake.

Preferred memorials are to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society, in care of Weicht Funeral Home, 207 N. West St., Angola, IN 46703.

Opal Jane Templeton

Opal Jane Paul Templeton, 80, Marion, died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday (July 11, 2002) at her home.

Calling is from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Edward L. Fritz officiating.
