Mack E. Lathrop, 101, formerly of Hannibal, N.Y., and a resident of the United Methodist Memorial Home, Warren, died at 10:25 p.m. Thursday (July 18, 2002) at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center, Bluffton.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service.

Burial will take place at Fairdale Cemetery, Fairdale, N.Y.

Glancy Funeral Homes, Butler Chapel, Warren, is in charge of arrangements.

Mary H. Dimmick

Mary Helen Dimmick, 82, South Whitley, died at 5 p.m. Saturday (July 20, 2002) at her home.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Smith and Sons Funeral Homes, Miller Chapel, 203 N. Maple St., South Whitley, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Burial will be at the South Whitley Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the Cleveland Township Fire Department or Parkview Home Health and Hospice, in care of Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Miller Chapel, 203 N. Maple St., South Whitley, IN 46787.

Terrance Cozad

Terrance “Terry” Cozad, 60, 829 Woodlawn Ave., died at 1:51 a.m. Saturday (July 20, 2002) at his residence.

Calling will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Richard Lofgren will officiate at the services.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington.

Helen L. Burkhart

Helen Lorene Burkhart, 91, a resident of Goose Lake, died at 1:05 p.m. Saturday (July 2, 2002) at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City, where she was admitted on Tuesday.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 207 N. Main St., Columbia City.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with calling one hour prior to services, at Zion Lutheran Church, 101 E. North St., Columbia City. Rev. James Haugen will officiate.

A committal service will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Huntington, with burial to follow.

Preferred memorials are to Zion Lutheran Church or the Cornea Research Foundation of America, in care of Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 207 N. Main St., Columbia City, IN 46725.

Delos J. Fisher

Delos J. “Doss” Fisher, 68, Fort Wayne, died at approximately 2 p.m. Monday (July 22, 2002) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mr. Fisher had been the owner of Doss Fisher Buick-Pontiac in Huntington and had been the owner and operator of Fisher-Schindler LLC.

Mr. Fisher was born May 7, 1934, in Zanesville, to Harvey Fisher and Ermal Leichty Fisher.

Survivors include a son, Douglas J. Fisher, Huntington; a daughter, Shana Working, Huntington; a stepson, Beach Harmon, Fort Wayne; a sister, Norma “Pedge” Johnson, Zanesville; two brothers, Ron Fisher, Fort Wayne, and Tom Fisher, Uniondale; and three grandchildren and one stepgrandchild.

A brother, Lee Fisher, preceded him in death.

Calling will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the D. O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Elder officiating.

Preferred memorials are to the Habitat for Humanity, Study Connection, or the Zanesville Church of God Building Fund.

Beverly J. McBride

Beverly Jean McBride, 70, 229 Lime Kiln Rd., died at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday (July 24, 2002).

There will be no calling hours.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery Chapel, 11201S Marion Rd.-35, Marion, with Dr. Howard Cherry officiating. Burial will follow.

Preferred memorials are to the Huntington County Humane Society, in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.

Pauline Bender

Funeral services for Pauline Bender were held Tuesday at the George White Funeral Home in Litchfield, Mich., with Rev. Michael Murray officiating. Burial was at the Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington County.

Mrs. Bender, 92, a resident of Litchfield, died Friday (July 19, 2002) at her home.

Preferred memorials for Mrs. Bender are to the Litchfield Congregational Church, the Litchfield Library, or the Hospice of Hillsdale County, in care of the George White Funeral Home, 220 N. Chicago St., Litchfield, MI 49252.

Billy G. Jeffers

Billy Gene “Bill” Jeffers, 69, New Canton, Ill., died at 4:35 a.m. Wednesday (July 24, 2002) at his home.

Calling is 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Kirgan Funeral Home, Greene and Mason streets, Barry, Ill., where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Burial will be at the Taylor-Martin Cemetery, El Dara, Ill.

Preferred memorials are to St. Jude’s Hospital, in care of Kirgan Funeral Home, P.O. Box 162, Barry, IL 62312.

Mary Jane Hahn-Molebash

Mary Jane Hahn-Molebash, 85, a resident of Bremen and of Tavares, Fla., died Thursday (July 25, 2002) at Bremen Health Care Center.

Calling is from 3-8 p.m. Saturday at Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 State Road 331, Bremen, and one hour prior to the 2 p.m. funeral services Sunday at Grace United Methodist Church, Bremen. Rev. Richard Lyth will conduct the services.

Burial will be at Bremen Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to Grace United Methodist Church or to the Parkinson’s Research Foundation.

Guy M. Fullhart

Guy M. Fullhart, 78, of Warren and formerly of Polk Township, died at 4:45 a.m. Friday (July 26, 2002) at the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren.

Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Pastor Russell Buzzard will officiate.

Interment will be at the Monument City Cemetery in Huntington County.

Helen L. Steup

Helen L. Steup, 79, Fort Wayne, died Sunday (July 28, 2002) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 S. Fairfield Ave., Fort Wayne.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church, 1700 E. Pettit Ave., Fort Wayne.

Entombment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to Faith Lutheran Church, in care of D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 S. Fairfield Ave., Fort Wayne, IN.

John Thomas McNeal

John Thomas McNeal, 90, Centennial, Colo., died Wednesday (July 24,2002) at The Hospice of Metro Denver, Aurora, Colo., following a long illness.

Calling is from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, where there will be a recitation of the rosary at 6 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Burial will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the Hospice of Metro Denver, 425 S. Cherry St., Suite 700, Denver, CO 80246-1234, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Bud Lobaugh

Bud Lobaugh, 90, Largo, Fla., died at 4 p.m. Thursday (July 25, 2002) at Largo Medical Center.

There was no calling or funeral services.
