Ray F. Brennan, 91, 1212 College Ave., died at 3:30 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 29, 2002) at the Hospice of Sun City West, Ariz.

Calling will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where a Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday.

A memorial funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with Father Ron Rieder officiating.

Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to Huntington Catholic grade schools, in care of the funeral home.

Michael G. Martin

Michael Gene Martin, 52, 8504S-500W, Warren, died at 1:55 a.m. Friday (Aug. 30, 2002) at VA Northern Indiana Healthcare, Marion.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, Warren, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Dr. Wayne Wright will officiate.

Burial will be at the Mt. Etna Cemetery in Huntington.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Etna Wesleyan Church.

Ora H. ‘Bud’ Bailey

Ora H. “Bud” Bailey, 98, Portland, died late Friday evening (Aug. 30, 2002).

Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home, 208 N. Commerce St., Portland, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be at the Salamonia Cemetery, Salamonia.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Southside Church of Christ, Portland, or Camp INDOGAN in Angola.

Brenda Wilson Thomasson

Brenda Wilson Thomasson, 52, formerly of Huntington, died at 11:10 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 31, 2002) at her home in Leland, N.C.

There will be no services or burial. Cremation will be in Leland, N.C.

Preferred memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to St. Peter Lutheran Church or School, 648 N. LaFontaine St., Huntington, IN 46750.

National Cremation Service, Ocean Isle Beach, N.C., is in charge of arrangements.

Truman D. ‘Bud’ Ross

Truman D. “Bud” Ross, 78, Warren, died at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 3, 2002) at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Marion.

Mr. Ross was the owner of Bud’s Fruit Market in Warren for many years.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Glancy Funeral Homes H. Brown & Son Chapel, Warren.

Ronald D. McDonald

Ronald D. McDonald, 69, 7782S Warren Rd., died at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mr. McDonald was the owner of the Hoosier Land Restaurant near Warren for many years.

Funeral services are pending at the Glancy Funeral Home H. Brown & Son Chapel, Warren.

Bruce E. Caley

Bruce E. Caley, 88, Fort Wayne, died Sunday (Sept. 1, 2002) at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Fort Wayne.

Calling is from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. DuPont Rd., Fort Wayne, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Donald Kleinschmidt officiating.

military graveside rites will be conducted by Air Force personnel at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are to the American Legion.

Truman D. Ross

Truman D. “Bud” Ross, 78, 403 11th St., Warren, died at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 3, 2002) at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Marion.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Pastor Charles Dye Jr. will officiate.

military graveside rites at the Lancaster Cemetery will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2689.

Robert W. Pinkerton

Robert W. Pinkerton, 69, Huntington, died at 3:50 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 5, 2002) at the Norwood Nursing Center.

Arrangements are pending at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home.

Ronald D. McDonald

Ronald D. McDonald, 69, 7782S Warren Rd., Warren, died at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 4, 2002) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown and Son Chapel, Warren, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Pastor Jimi Staton will officiate. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington County Chapter of the American Heart Association.

Bob W. Pinkerton

Bob W. Pinkerton, 69, Huntington, died at 3:50 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 6, 2002) at Norwood Nursing Center.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Father Gary Sigler will officiate.

Burial will be at the Mt. Etna Cemetery.

Ruis M. Cundiff, 93, Clearwater, Fla., died Tuesday (Sept. 3, 2002) in Clearwater.

Funeral arrangements are pending. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Pete Benham

Pete Benham, 69, 851 Riverside Dr., died at 3:20 a.m. Friday (Sept. 6, 2002) at Miller’s Merry Manor.

There will be no calling hours or services.

Memorial contributions may be made to Miller’s Merry Manor, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr., Huntington, IN 46750.

William Max Spade

William “Bill” Max Spade, 80, a resident of the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren, died at 7:35 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 5, 2002) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling will be from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Thoma/Rich, Hewitt & Chaney Funeral Home, 308 W. Washington St., Bluffton. Masonic services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the First United Church of Christ, Bluffton, with Rev. Neil Wilson, Rev. Dr. Kent J. Ulery and Rev. Charles Dye officiating.

Burial will be at the Horeb Cemetery, Uniondale.

Preferred memorials are to the Warren United Church of Christ, the Warren United Methodist Home Foundation, or the donor’s choice.
