Theodore K. Stabler, 74, Bradenton, Fla., died Monday (Sept. 16, 2002) at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Sarasota, Fla.

Calling will be held from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service Monday at Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4245 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne.

Burial will be at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bradenton, Fla., or the American Heart Association, in care of Siler Funeral Service, 8632 Decatur Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46816.

Rita E. Everidge

Rita E. Everidge, 64, 520 Stephen St., died at 4:15 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 19, 2002) at her son’s home.

Calling will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Saturday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary.

Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of Huntington County, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr., Huntington, IN 46750.

Clayton Treat

Clayton Treat, 82, Warren, died at 11:15 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 21, 2002) at the Markle Health Care Center.

Calling is 3-8 p.m. Monday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. The Mt. Etna Masonic Lodge will be in charge of Masonic services at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with David Zent and George DeWeese officiating.

military graveside services at Woodlawn Cemetery will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign wars Post 2689, Huntington.

Rheva M. Parrett

Rheva M. Parrett, 78, 739 Frederick St., died Friday (Sept. 20, 2002) at her home.

Calling was from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9-11 a.m. Monday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown and Son Chapel, Warren. Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Charles Dye Jr. officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Etna Cemetery.

James C. Loder

James C. Loder, 53, Marion, died at 6:45 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 22, 2002) at his home.

Arrangements are pending at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel.

Marquetta N. Griffith

Marquetta N. Griffith, 79, a resident of the Norwood Nursing Center, died there at 4:44 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 21, 2002).

Calling is 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, followed by services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Alexander Soultz officiating. Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Robert J. Engle

Robert J. Engle, 76, Columbia City, died at 6:15 a.m. Friday (Sept. 20, 2002) at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne. He was admitted to the facility on Thursday.

Calling was 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Smith and Sons Funeral Home, 207 N. Main St., Columbia City, and funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday with Rev. J. Phillip Blake officiating. Burial will be at the Greenhill Cemetery, Columbia City.

Preferred memorials are to the Columbia City Fire Department or the Columbia City United Methodist Church Building Fund.

Clara B. Smith, 87, Goshen, died at 8:15 a.m. Monday (Sept. 23, 2002) at Americare in Goshen.

Calling is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main St., Goshen, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Don Laymon will officiate.

Additional calling will be held from 2-3 p.m. Thursday at the Bethel Assembly of God, 1640 E. Taylor St., Huntington. Burial will follow at the Markle Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the Zion Chapel Missions, in care of Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, 1911 S. Main St., Goshen, IN 46526.

Calling will be held from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel. Rev. Al Soultz will officiating.

Interment will be at the Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington County.

Alan J. Burnsworth, 61, Marion, died at 4:24 a.m. Monday (Sept. 23, 2002) at his home.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. Pastor David Hughes will officiate.

Burial will be at the Grant Memorial Park, Marion.

Charles Gilford “Bus” Bennett, 82, Thorncreek Township, Whitley County, died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 22, 2002) at the Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne, where he had been a patient for the past two weeks. He had been in failing health for two years.

Zelma M. Fruit, 94, 6661N-100W, died at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 25, 2002) at the Markle Health Care Center, Markle.

Arrangements are pending at the Bailey-Love Mortuary.

Marie C. Dennis

Marie C. Dennis, 84, Fort Wayne, died Wednesday (Sept. 25, 2002) at Parkview Hospital.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and from noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service Saturday at the Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St., Fort Wayne. Rev. Justin K. Fisher will officiate.

Burial will be at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington.

Preferred memorials are to the Trinity United Methodist Church of Fort Wayne, in care of the Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St., Fort Wayne, IN 46802.

Thomas W. McNally

Thomas W. McNally, 65, Madisonville, Tenn., and formerly of Huntington, died at 2:32 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 26, 2002) at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. EDT (7 p.m. Huntington time) Saturday, with calling two hours prior to the service, at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, 4650 Hwy. 411 Bypass, Madisonville, Tenn.

An additional funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, with calling two hours prior to the service, at the Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, 122 W. Columbia St., Marion, Ohio. Interment will follow at the Marion Cemetery, Marion, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Knoxville Cancer Center, 1114 Weisgarber Rd., Knoxville, TN 37909.
