Julius R. “Jake” Pfister, 78, 2330W-1000N, died at 4:10 a.m. Friday (Oct. 4, 2002) at his residence.

Calling was from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and will be 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with Rev. John Pfister as celebrant.

Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington Catholic School or the American Heart Association, all in care of the funeral home.

Suzanne L. Schoenemann

Suzanne L. Schoenemann, 44, 8490N Mayne Rd., Roanoke, died at 6:25 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 6, 2002) at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd., Fort Wayne. Rev. Harold Klinker and Rev. Terry McDonald will officiate.

Burial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are to the Schoenemann Children’s Education Fund or the Church Building Fund, in care of Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46802.

Marjorie Herrberg

Marjorie M. Herrberg, 85, Huntington, died Monday (Oct. 7, 2002) at her home.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, with recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m., at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry St., with Father John Gimond officiating.

Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to Parkview Home Health & Hospice, in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.

Helen M. Brandt

Helen Mae Brandt, 87, 50 N. LaFontaine St., died at 11:20 p.m. Friday (Oct. 4, 2002) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Donald E. Meyer will officiate at the services.

Burial will be at the Elm Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.

Sally A. Boyle

Sally A. Boyle, 57, Huntington, died Saturday (Oct. 5, 2002) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, with recitation of the Rosary at 7:30 p.m., at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 939 N. Jefferson St., with Father Gary Sigler officiating.

Interment will be private.

Douglas R. Allred

Douglas R. Allred, 30, a resident of Vernon Manor in Wabash, died at 12:55 p.m. Friday (Oct. 4, 2002) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling will be from 1-5 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. David Misner and Ron Collins will officiate at the services.

Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.

Margaret M. Nail

Margaret Maurine Nail, 86, Fort Wayne, died Monday (Oct. 7, 2002) at the Renaissance Village Nursing Home, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 3-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be at the Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are to the Renaissance Village Nursing Home or the Alzheimer’s Association, in care of the Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46804.

Maxine L. Fryer

Maxine L. Fryer, 87, Winona Lake, a former resident of Huntington, died at 9:41 p.m. Friday (Oct. 4, 2002) at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

There will be no calling hours.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Rev. Theron Hanes officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Huntington.

Preferred memorials are to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society, in care of McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, IN 46580.

Richard M. Foy

Richard M. Foy, 60, Bluffton, died at 1:15 p.m. Monday (Oct. 7, 2002) at his home.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, with calling one hour prior to services, at Six Mile Church, 4790 SE Ind.-116, Bluffton. Rev. Emmett Cox will officiate.

Burial will be at the Six Mile Cemetery, Bluffton.

Richard E. Schoeff, 79, Wabash, died at 5:29 a.m. Wednesday (Oct. 9, 2002) at Parkview Huntington Hospital. He was a daytime resident of Rolling Meadows Health Care Center, LaFontaine.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be at the Zion Cemetery, Huntington County.

Ms. Vaught, 72, Fort Wayne, died Wednesday (Oct. 9, 2002) at the Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are to the Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, in care of Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46809.

Dorothy I. Jarvis

Dorothy I. Jarvis, 94, died at 2:04 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 10, 2002) at The Heritage of Huntington.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, with calling one hour prior to services, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1555 Flaxmill Rd. Rev. Kevin C. Dunlop and Rev. Eugene Vickery will officiate.

Burial will be at the Union Cemetery, Huntington County.
