Nancy F. Finley, 53, Huntington, died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday (June 2, 2004) at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.

There will be no visitation or service. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Max E. Zehner

Max E. Zehner, 76, Poneto, died at 5:35 a.m. Saturday (June 5, 2004) at his home.

Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, Walker Chapel, Montpelier. Graveside services will be held at Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Dewey Zent officiating.

Phyllis C. Williams

Phyllis C. Williams, 90, died at 9:38 a.m. Sunday (June 6, 2004) at the Covington Manor Nursing Center, Fort Wayne, where she was a resident.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Roanoke Memorial Funeral Chapel, 240 Crestwood Dr., Roanoke.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Roanoke Brethren Church, 415 S. Main St., Roanoke. Rev. Ron Burns will officiate.

Burial will be at the Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke.

Preferred memorials are to the Brethren Church, Down’s Syndrome Society of Northeast Indiana, or Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Northeast Indiana, all in care of the funeral home.

Linda M. Scharich

Linda M. Scharich, 47, Huntington, died at 3:05 a.m. Monday (June 7, 2004) at her home.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, and from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home, 403 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw, Mich. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with one hour of calling prior to the service, at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Amileth in Bay City, Mich. Pastor Stephen Starke will officiate.

Interment will be at the Floral Gardens Cemetery in Bay City, Mich.

Preferred memorials are gifts to the Scharich family in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington IN 46750.

Rocco V. Ceravolo

A Mass of Christian burial for Rocco V. Ceravolo was held at 10 a.m. Friday at Piedi Grotta Catholic Church in Pizzo, Italy, with Father Filippo officiating.

Rocco Vincenzo Ceravolo, 74, Pizzo, Italy, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday (June 3, 2004) at his home.

Helen U. Buckland

Helen U. Buckland, 89, Muncie, died at 11:05 p.m. Friday (June 4, 2004) at the Muncie Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Calling is 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, Walker Chapel, 109 Windsor St., Montpelier, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Lynn Mefford will officiate. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Montpelier.

Della E. Kem

Della E. Kem, 84, 6839W-600S, died at 2 a.m. Saturday (June 5, 2004) at her home.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel, 104 S. Main St., LaFontaine, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor Gary Riley will officiate.

Burial will be at the Mt. Etna Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the Banquo Christian Church.

Ruth C. Flaugh

Ruth C. Flaugh, 850 Ash St., died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday (June 8, 2004) in Oakbrook Village in Huntington.

Calling hours are noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr. Services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday, with Rev. Scott Davis officiating.

Burial will be in the Star of Hope Cemetery in Huntington County.

Preferred memorials may be made to the Oakbrook Village Activity Fund in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr., Huntington IN 46750.

Jackelynn A. Dubach

Jackelynn A. Dubach, 75, Fort Wayne, died Sunday (June 6, 2004) at the Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are to Trinity English Lutheran Church or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, c/o D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46804.

Richard Furthmiller

Richard Furthmiller, 94, Columbia City, died at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday (June 8, 2004) at his son’s home in Columbia City.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Roanoke memorial Funeral Chapel, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Rev. John Cummings will officiate. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Imogene M. Vallad

Imogene M. Vallad, 81, Hartford City, died at 7:05 p.m. Friday (June 11, 2004) at Hartford City Americare Living Center following a long illness.

Calling is from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral services Tuesday at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City. Rev. Richard Dickson will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie.

Preferred memorials are to the American Lung Association or the American Diabetes. Association.

Robert L. Harman

Robert L. Harman, 80, 213 S. LaFontaine St., died at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday (Nov. 27, 2002) at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Fort Wayne.

There will be no calling hours.

Cremation will be held. Family services will take place at a later date.

The Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

Ramon “Ray” Schmid, 68, Winona Lake, died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday (Dec. 5, 2002) at his home.

Calling is from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 125 N. Harrison St., Warsaw, with Monsignor James Wolf officiating.

Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Earl R. Michel

Earl R. Michel, 93, Guilford Street, died at 10 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 5, 2002) at The Heritage of Huntington.

Calling is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Pastor Jonathan Heaslet will officiate.

Interment will be at St. Peter’s First United Church of Christ Cemetery.
