Pauline M. Barker, 88, 530 William St., died at 5:45 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 16, 2003) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Saturday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, with Order of Eastern Star Floral Chapter 75 conducting Twilight services at 4 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Rev. Marti Lundy officiating.

Private family graveside services and burial will be held Monday at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr., Huntington, IN 46750.

William R. Tester

William R. Tester, 74, 1079 S. Jefferson, died at 7:50 a.m. Friday (Jan. 17, 2003) at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Calling hours were 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel. Services were held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Monday.

Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Huntington County.

Preferred memorials are contributions to the Huntington County chapter of the American Red Cross or to Huntington Area Transportation (HAT) in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, IN 46750.

Herman ‘Andy’ Stoltz

Herman “Andy” Stoltz, 84, Marion, died at 8:27 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 14, 2003).

Calling was 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 S. Washington St., Marion. Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 Kem Rd., Marion. Burial, with graveside military honors, will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington.

Glen Robbins

Glen Robbins, 81, a resident of Wayne Township, died at 11:35 p.m. Friday (Jan. 17, 2003) at Marion General Hospital, Marion.

Calling was from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Ferguson Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St., Van Buren, and services were held at 11 a.m. Monday with Rev. Steve Stull officiating.

Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory, Marion.

Preferred memorials are to the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana or to Cancer Services of Grant County, in care of the Ferguson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 376, Van Buren, IN 46991.

Lillian Herendeen

Lillian Herendeen, 90, a resident of Marion the past four years and a former resident of 1718 Guilford St., died Sunday (Jan. 19, 2003) at her home.

Calling is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. William Rapp will officiate.

Burial will be at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

Helen E. Cain

Helen E. Cain, 93, died at 11:25 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 19, 2003) at the Norwood Nursing Center, where she was a resident.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. Rev. David Arnold will officiate.

Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Crown Point Cemetery, Kokomo.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Friends Church of Kokomo, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr., Huntington, IN 46750.

Kermit N. Ulrich

Kermit N. Ulrich, 83, 3197N-494W, died at 1 a.m. Monday (Jan. 20, 2003) at his home.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Jonathan Heaslet will officiate.

Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Peter’s First United Church of Christ Building Fund, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr., Huntington, IN 46750.

Bonnie Kindler

Bonnie R. Kindler, 75, 1 Stoneridge Dr., died at 4:10 p.m. Monday (Jan. 20, 2003) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Kindler served as Huntington Township assessor from Feb. 3, 1992, until Dec. 31, 1996. She had also worked part-time in several other Courthouse offices, including the clerk’s office and auditor’s office, and for several county boards.

Arrangements are pending at the Bailey-Love Mortuary.

Ica I. Carey

Ica Irene Carey, 96, died at 1:35 p.m. Monday (Jan. 20, 2003) at Miller’s Merry Manor.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the East State Street Church of God, P.O. Box 618, Huntington IN 46750.

Mary O. Shideler

Mary O. Shideler, 86, died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 21, 2003) at the Norwood Nursing Center, where she had resided the past four years.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Kathie Jones officiating.

Burial will be at the Lancaster Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the Jefferson Township United Methodist Church, 900S-300W, Warren, IN 46792.

Carleton Gaines

Carleton Gaines, 87, Warren, died at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 21, 2003) at the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren.

Calling will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the 3:30 p.m. funeral service Saturday at the United Methodist Memorial Home, Applegate Chapel, Warren. Rev. John Pattison will officiate.

Burial will be at a later date.

Noel C. ‘Bill’ Buzzard

Noel C. “Bill” Buzzard, 82, Warren, died at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 21, 2003) at the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Doug Barton officiating.

Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Paul F. Lickey

Paul F. Lickey, 80, Huntington, died at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 22, 2003) at the Norwood Nursing Center.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, with a vigil service at 3:30 p.m., at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, Nix Settlement, with Rev. Kenneth J. Sarrazine officiating.

Burial will be at the St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Nix Settlement.

Preferred memorials are Masses to the church or to the Preservation Fund for St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.
