Nelson L. Adams, 77, Mansfield, Ohio, died Saturday (Feb. 22, 2003) in Mansfield.

There will be no calling. Private family burial will be at a later date in the Bono Cemetery, Bono, Indiana.

Preferred memorials are to the Herman B Wells Memorial Fund, in care of the Indiana University Foundation, P.O. Box 500, Bloomington, IN 47402.

The Herlihy-Tinsman-Moleno Funeral Home, 173 Park Ave. W, Mansfield, Ohio, is in charge of arrangements.

Robert E. Palmer

Robert E. Palmer, 81, Fort Wayne, died Tuesday (Feb. 25, 2003) at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave., Fort Wayne, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Burial will be at the Union Township Cemetery, Wells County.

Preferred memorials are to the Colony Heights Church of Christ, in care of D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46807.

Wilma A. Leist

Wilma A. Leist, 83, formerly of rural Huntington, died at 4 a.m. Monday (Feb. 24, 2003) at the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren.

There will be no calling hours.

A special memorial service at the First Baptist Church, 220 E. Market St., will be included as part of the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 2.

In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to the First Baptist Church, 220 E. Market St., Huntington, IN 46750.

Interment will be at the Lancaster Cemetery.

The Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

Kay A. Smart

Kay Ann Smart, 66, 3815W-100N, died at 3 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 26, 2003) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Richard Frederick officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory.

Preferred memorials are to Erin’s House, in care of the Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington, IN 46750.

Edward A. Waters

Edward A. Waters, 84, 521 William St., died at 4:32 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 27, 2003) at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Pastor Eugene Vickery will officiate. Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Home health Care and Hospice of Huntington County or to the family in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35, W. Park Dr., Huntington IN 46750.

Marilyn A. Stevens

Marilyn A. Burchett Stevens, 54, Marion, died Thursday morning (Feb. 27, 2003) at her home.

Visitation will be Saturday from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at the Casey Lloyd Funeral Home, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with pastor Chas Singer officiating.

Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Brian J. Myers

Brian J. Myers, 44, 6857S Warren Rd., Warren, died Thursday (Feb. 27, 2003) at Blackford Community Hospital, Hartford City.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown and Son Chapel, Warren, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Rev. Howard Cress will officiate. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Huntington County 4-H, American Diabetes. Association, or the American Heart Association.

Gloria J. Gibson

Gloria J. Gibson, 67, Columbia City, died at 5:05 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 27, 2003) at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City.

Calling is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with Pastor Curtiss Johnson officiating.

Burial will be at Greenhill Cemetery, Columbia City.

Orville Sullivan Jr.

Orville Sullivan Jr., 73, Poneto, died at 8:15 a.m. Sunday (March 2, 2003) at his home.

Calling is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel, 3220 Ind.-124E, Bluffton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, with calling one hour prior to services, at the Sonlight Wesleyan Church. Rev. Tom Bradley will officiate.

Graveside services, conducted by the Grover Sheets American Legion Post, will be held at the Six Mile Cemetery, Bluffton.

Preferred memorials are to Gideons International or the Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, in care of Goodwin Memorial Chapel, 3220 Ind.-124E, Bluffton.

Mary Rice Southworth

Mary Louella Rice Southworth, 101, died Feb. 25, 2003, in Katy, Texas, where she had been living the past four months.

A memorial service for Mrs. Southworth will be held at a later date.

Victor H. Reed

Victor H. Reed, 89, 803 Salamonie Ave., died at 2:20 p.m. Saturday (March 1, 2003) at Oakbrook Village Nursing Center, Huntington.

Calling will be held from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service Tuesday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary. Rev. Charles Lyman will officiate.

Burial will be at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons Bible Society, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr., Huntington, IN 46750.

Rev. Ernest L. Pelz

Rev. Ernest L. Pelz, 85, 1405 Garfield St. Apt. 5, died at 2:43 a.m. Sunday (March 2, 2003) at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Roanoke Memorial Funeral Chapel, 240 Crestwood Dr., Roanoke.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with calling one hour prior to services, at the Liberty Mills Church of the Nazarene, 10621 Liberty Mills Rd., Fort Wayne. Dr. David Roland, Pastor Rick Watson, and Pastor Darrell Poeppelmeyer will officiate.

Burial will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Fort Wayne.

Preferred memorials are to the New Hope Church of the Nazarene or the American Heart Association, in care of the Roanoke Memorial Funeral Chapel, 240 Crestwood Dr., Roanoke, IN 46783.

Phillip T. Morgan

Phillip T. Morgan, 49, Huntington, died at 1:22 p.m. Saturday (March 1, 2003) at the Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Gus Hacker and Rob Stamper will officiate. Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana University Medical Center neurosurgery department in care of the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington IN 46750.
