Pearl P. Zook
Pearl P. Zook, 95, a resident of the Timbercrest Retirement Community, North Manchester, died at 3:50 a.m. Tuesday (April 1, 2003) at Timbercrest Healthcare.
Calling is one half-hour prior to the 1:30 p.m. Saturday services at the Timbercrest Chapel, North Manchester. Chaplain Joan Deeter and Rev. Glenn Mulligan will conduct the services.
Burial will be at the Lancaster Cemetery.

Dennis L. Stephan
A former member of the Andrews Town Council, Dennis L. Stephan, 55, 773 N. Main St., Andrews, died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday (April 2, 2003) at his home.
Mr. Stephan was a 7 1/2-year member of the Andrews Town Council, serving from 1988 to 1995, resigning because of a change in jobs. He was employed by Koorsen Fire & Protection Services, Marion, and was a member of the Huntington Moose Lodge.
“He was a good guy,” said Andrews Clerk-Treasurer Kathy Juillerat. “He was well-liked and was always laughing and joking.”
Mr. Stephan was born on Jan. 25, 1948, in Huntington, to Howard M. “Soc” and Margaret I. Kahlenbeck Stephan. On May 1, 1998, in Sevierville, Tenn., he married Melissa L. “Missy” Earhart, who survives in Andrews.
Other survivors include has a daughter, Destiny A Wilburn, Andrews; two sons, Paul J. Stephan, Andrews, and Chase E. Stephan, at home; a stepmother, Sue Stephan, Warsaw; two sisters, Shirley Fisher and Mrs. John (Sharon) Biehl, both of Andrews; three brothers, Mike Stephan, Huntington, Henry Stephan, LaPorte, and Laurence Stephan, Marion; two stepsisters, Kim Shivley, Huntington, and Steve Walker, Warsaw; and two grandchildren.
A brother, Mark Stephan, preceded him in death.
Calling will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, Andrews Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Rev. Jerry Felts will officiate. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery, Andrews.
Preferred memorials are to the Chase E. Stephan Memorial Fund.
Patricia A. Morris
Patricia Ann Morris, 64, of rural Wabash, died at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday (April 1, 2003) at Millers Merry Manor-East, Wabash.
Calling will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Pastor David Phillips officiating. Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Mildred A. Hendricks
Mildred A. Hendricks, 97, a resident of Norwood Nursing Center, died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (April 2, 2003) at the center.
Calling is 1-3 p.m. Friday at the Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, where services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday with Rev. David Arnold officiating. Burial is at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to the American Cancer Society or Huntington Parkview Home Health Care and Hospice.
Paul E. Bolinger
Paul E. Bolinger, 85, Roann, died at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday (April 2, 2003) at the Rolling Meadows Heathcare Center, LaFontaine.
Calling will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the McDonald Funeral Home Eddingfield Chapel, 231 Falls Ave., Wabash, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Bruce Hostetler officiating. Burial will be at the Falls Cemetery, Wabash.

Eugene A. Boester
Eugene A. Boester, 78, Fort Wayne, died Monday (March 31, 2003) at his home.
Calling will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Klaehn, Fahl, and Melton Funeral Home Winchester Road Chapel, Fort Wayne. Services will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday with Rev. Frederick Hasecke officiating. Burial will be in the Covington Memorial Gardens.

Alberta E. Anderson
Alberta E. Anderson, 85, Woodruff, Wis., died Monday (March 24, 2003) at the Seasons of Life Hospice House, Woodruff.
A memorial service led by Pastor Larry Olson will be held April 12 at the United Methodist Church in Mercer, Wis. Cremation has taken place, with burial to be later at the Gardens of Memory in Huntington County.
Preferred memorials are to the Mercer United Methodist Church of Seasons of Life Hospice House, Woodruff, Wis.

Eldon R. Wetters, 91, a resident of The Heritage of Huntington and formerly a resident of North Jefferson Street, died at 8:10 p.m. Sunday (April 6, 2003) at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Calling is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Dr. Sam Young officiating.
Burial will be at Star of Hope Cemetery.

Loyd F. Saner, 76, died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday (April 5, 2003) at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, where he had moved the previous day.
Calling is from 4-8 p.m. Monday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, 608 E. Rochester St., Akron, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Bob Seewald and Rev. Steve Fleck officiating.
Burial will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery
at the West Manchester Church of the Brethren, North Manchester, with graveside military rites by the Rochester American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Matthew J. Herring, 29, died at 11 a.m. Friday (April 4, 2003) at his home in Lakeland, Fla.

Burial will be at Farrville Cemetery, Van Buren.

Pauline M. Harman, 91, Fort Wayne, died at 1:35 p.m. Thursday (April 3, 2003) at the Covington Manor Nursing Center, Fort Wayne.
Calling was from 9-10 a.m. Monday at the Sandpoint Congregation, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 3630 Sandpoint Rd., Fort Wayne, where funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday. Kenneth Springer will officiate at the service.

Randy Lee Byrd, 49, Huntington, died at 10:45 a.m. Friday (April 4, 2003) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
