Audrey L. Bell, 84, Hartford City, died at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday (June 10, 2003) at Americare Living Center in Hartford City.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service Friday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, Walker Chapel, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier. Rev. Dewey Zent will officiate.

Burial will be at the Jones Cemetery, Warren.

Torrance G. Elliott

Torrance G. Elliott, 23, 812 Nancy St., Warren, died at 10 p.m. Monday (June 9, 2003) at his home.

Calling is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown and Son Chapel, Warren, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday. Pastor Lynn Mefford will officiate.

Burial will be at Asbury Cemetery, Montpelier.

Preferred memorials are gifts to the family.

Ira G. Taylor

Ira G. Taylor, 87, Columbia City, died at 6:04 p.m. Wednesday (June 11, 2003) at the Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. Royce Evans and Rev. Jeff Boyles will officiate.

Burial will be at the Jefferson Chapel (Sand Bank) Cemetery, Jefferson Township, Whitley County.

Preferred memorials are to the Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, in care of DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City, IN 46725.

Helen Paul Huber

Helen Paul Huber, 100, a resident of the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren, died at the home at 2:45 p.m. Thursday (June 12, 2003).

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren. Rev. Kathie Jones will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson Center United Methodist Church.

Gail R. Paine-Sutcliffe

Gail R. Paine-Sutcliffe, 54, of Bryan, Ohio, died Friday (June 13, 2003) at her summer home in Angola.

Calling is from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Oberlin-Fort Funeral Home, 206 N. Lynn St., Bryan, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at New Hope Community Church, 15627 U.S.-127, Bryan, with Rev. Doug Schrock officiating.

Burial will be at Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan.

Preferred memorials are to New Hope Community Church or the Northwest Ohio Community Pregnancy Center, both in Bryan.

Paul Delson Church

Paul Delson Church, 75, of Fremont, died Friday (June 13, 2003) at his home.

Calling is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Fairview Missionary Church, Angola, and two hours prior to the funeral services scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Norman Fuller, Rev. Donald Rashley and Pastor Jay Nickless officiating.

Burial will be at Mundy Cemetery, Branch County, Mich.

Preferred memorials are to Youth for Christ — Northeast Indiana and Youth for Christ, Branch County, Mich.

Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, is in charge of arrangements.

Bentley G. Spears

Bentley Gene Spears, 43, 919 First St., died at 6 p.m. Sunday (June 15, 2003) at his home.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Bill Fisher officiating.

Burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.

Preferred memorials are to the Family Hospice of Northeast Indiana, 265 W. Water St., Berne, IN 46711; or the Huntington County Cancer Society, P.O. Box 51, Huntington, IN 46750.

Philip Hedrick

Philip Hedrick, 46, Huntington, died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday (June 15, 2003) at Parkview Whitley Hospital, Columbia City.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. Father Gary Sigler will officiate.

Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.

Preferred memorials are contributions to the donor’s choice of charity in care of the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington IN 46750.

Denny Bigelow

Services for Denny Bigelow were held May 10 at Merchant Funeral Home in Clarkston, Wash.

Mr. Bigelow, 48, formerly of Huntington, died May 6, 2003 at his home in Culdesac, Wash.

A memorial service for Mr. Bigelow will be held in Huntington in late October.

Mabel C. Alexander

Mabel C. Alexander, 93, died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday (June 15, 2003) at the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren, where she was a resident.

Calling will be held from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. funeral service Tuesday at the United Methodist Memorial Home, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren. Pastor Herbert Edwards will officiate.

Burial will be at the Spring Hill Cemetery, Warren.

Susanna E. Westhafer

Susanna E. Westhafer, 85, Anderson, died Tuesday (June 17, 2003) at Community Northview, Anderson.

Calling is from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, South Chapel, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, with calling one hour prior to services, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2324 Jackson St., Anderson. Rev. Gary Cable, Dr. James Storey, and Rev. Kenneth Sparks will officiate.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.

Preferred memorials are to First Church of the Nazarene Missions, 2324 Jackson St., Anderson, IN 46016.

Gene E. Watterson

Gene E. Watterson, 62, Hartford City, died Thursday (June 19, 2003) at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at 112 W. Green St., Montpelier.

Memorial contributions may be made to the International Myeloma Foundation, 12650 Riverside Dr., Suite 206, North Hollywood CA 91607, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Glancy Funeral Homes, Walker Chapel, Montpelier, is in charge of arrangements.

Margarette D. Shaffer

Margarette D. Shaffer, 89, formerly of Andrews, died at 3:17 p.m. Thursday (June 19, 2003) at the Timbercrest Senior Living Community in North Manchester.

Calling is 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Chaplain David Doudt will officiate.

Burial will be at the Lancaster Cemetery.
