Willodean Daugherty, 76, Wabash, died at 6:52 a.m. Monday (Sept. 8, 2003) at the Wabash County Hospital.

Calling will be held from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service Wednesday at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Main Street Chapel, 86 E. Main St., Wabash. Pastor Danny Boone will officiate. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery, Andrews.

Allan R. Shultz

Allan R. Shultz, 77, Blacksburg, Va., died Monday (Sept. 8, 2003) at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Virginia.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.

Memorial contributions designated for disaster response may be sent to the Church of the Brethren, General Board Ministries, 1451 Dundee Ave., Elgin IL 60120-1694; or to Peacework, 209 Otey St., Blacksburg, Va., 24060-7426.

The McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Va., is in charge of arrangements.

Lloyd Shepherd

Lloyd Shepherd, 60, Peru, died at 4:36 a.m. Sunday (Sept. 7, 2003) at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru.

Calling and the funeral services were held Tuesday at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service North Chapel in Marion. Rev. David Jones presided.

Preferred memorials are to the United Way.

Ernest L. Mock Jr.

Ernest Leighton “Ernie” Mock Jr., 84, Friendswood, Texas, died Monday (Sept. 8, 2003) in League City, Texas.

A private family memorial service and scattering for both Ernest and Marjorie is planned in October near the family vacation retreat.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a local hospice care facility or favorite charity.

The Crowder Funeral Homes, Webster, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.

Rev. Galen A. Colclesser

Rev. Galen A. Colclesser, 85, 3595W-554N, died at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 10, 2003) at The Heritage of Huntington.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the College Park United Brethren Church. Services will be held at the church at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Rev. Raymond Waldfogel and Rev. Brent Birdsall officiating. Burial will be at the Shock Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission, 301 W. Superior St., Fort Wayne IN 46802, or in care of the funeral home.

Donald H. Wenning

Donald H. Wenning, 77, Greensburg, died Thursday (Sept. 11, 2003) at the home of his daughter, Debbie Thomas, in Greensburg.

Calling is 1-6 p.m. Sunday, followed with a Rosary service at 6 p.m., at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, 302 N. Franklin St., Greensburg.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg with Rev. Steve Schaftlein officiating.

Interment will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Decatur County Hospice, in care of Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home, 302 N. Franklin St., Greensburg, IN 47240.

Faye A. Garner

Faye A. Garner, 80, Wabash, died at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 10, 2003) at her home.

Calling will be held from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service Saturday at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Main Street Chapel, 86 E. Main St., Wabash. Rev. Tim Webb will officiate.

Burial will be at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.

Andrew J. Elick

Andrew J. Elick, 80, 403 E. State St., died at his home at 6:55 a.m. Friday (Sept. 12, 2003).

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, with a Moose Lodge memorial service at 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the mortuary, with Pastor Worlie Newsome Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Robert B. Zahm

Robert B. Zahm, 46, Huntington, died at 4:22 p.m. Friday (Sept. 12, 2003) at his home.

Calling was from 5-8 p.m. Sunday and from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, Where recitation of the rosary will be held Monday at 4 p.m.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 903 N. Jefferson St., with Father Gary Sigler officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington.

Preferred memorials are to the Huntington County Cancer Services, Parkview Huntington Hospice or St. Mary Catholic Church.

Hershel Spencer

Hershel Spencer, 60, rural Columbia City, died at 4:40 p.m. Friday (Sept. 12, 2003) at his home.

Calling is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 207 N. Main St., Columbia City, where funeral services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, with Elzie Spencer, an uncle of Mr. Spencer’s, officiating.

A committal service and burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Jackson Cemetery, Jackson, Ky.

Preferred memorials are to Southern Care Hospice, 4666 W. Jefferson St., Fort Wayne, IN 46804.

Mary E. Barner Gray, 87, a resident of the United Methodist Memorial Home, Warren, died at 4:10 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 13, 2003) at the home. She was a former resident of Bluffton and Montpelier.

Calling will be 4-8 pm. Monday at the Glancy Funeral Homes - Walker Chapel, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. John Wallace will officiate at the service. Burial will be at the Friends Cemetery, Keystone.

Calling is from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Tuesday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City. Pastor Robert Siegrist will conduct the service.

Committal services and burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Claypool, at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
