Calling is from 10 a.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service Monday at Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel. Pastor Melvin Lamphiear will officiate.

Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.

Preferred memorials are to the Duckworth Family in care of Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, 338 E. Washington St., Huntington, IN 46750.

Delbert A. Alfeld

Delbert A. “Whitey” Alfeld, 83, a resident of the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren, died at 2:09 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 18, 2003) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday and from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service Tuesday at the United Methodist Memorial Home Chapel. Pastor Herbert Edwards will officiate.

Burial will be at Stahl Cemetery, Wells County.

Preferred memorials are to the American Diabetes. Association, 7363 E. 21st St., Indianapolis, IN 46219.

Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, Warren, is in charge of arrangements.

Marshall J. Ellet

Marshall J. Ellet, 88, Oklahoma City, Okla., died Tuesday (Oct. 21, 2003).

A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home, 14624 N. May Ave., Oklahoma City., Okla. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Eugene Church, Oklahoma City.

Burial will be at Resurrection Memorial City, Oklahoma City, Okla.

H. Paul Davis

H. Paul Davis, 92, died at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 22, 2003) at the United Methodist Memorial Home, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren, where he was a resident.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Monday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. Rev. John Pattison will officiate.

Burial will be at the Estates of Serenity in Marion.

Preferred memorials are to the Family Hospice of Northeast Indiana, 265 W. Water St., Berne, IN 46711.

Helen Marie Miller

Helen Marie Miller, 87, a resident of Huntington and a former resident of Lewisville, died Sunday (Oct. 26, 2003) at Norwood Nursing Center.

Calling is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, where an Eastern Star memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Sam Young officiating.

Burial will be at Mannan Cemetery, Cloverdale.

Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, is in charge of local arrangements.

Caralene A. Lupp

Caralene A. Lupp, 61, Uniondale, died at 1:07 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 25, 2003) at the Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne.

Calling is from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Myers Funeral Home, Markle Chapel, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Burial will be at Horeb Cemetery, Uniondale.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the Myers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 403, Markle IN 46770.

Greeta L. Landis

Greeta Lavine Landis, 91, North Manchester, died at 8:44 a.m. Friday (Oct. 24, 2003) at the Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.

Calling will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel, 86 E. Main St., Wabash; where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Dr. Janice Fulbright will officiate.

Burial will be at the Elwood Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the Asbury United Methodist Church.

Robert D. Brinneman

Robert D. Brinneman, 79, 2300W Division Rd., died at 4:08 p.m. Friday (Oct. 24, 2003) at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown and Son Chapel, Warren. Services will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Nathan Beal officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Laura E. Allen

Laura Eckels Allen, 56, of Seattle, Wash., died Thursday (Oct. 23, 2003) in Seattle.

A memorial service was be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Seattle Practice Center, Seattle.

Preferred memorials are to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of King County, 753 N. 35th St., Seattle, WA 98103.

Sharon K. Myers Thomas

Sharon K. Myers Thomas, 54, 295 Beard St., died at 7:50 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 25, 2003) at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Calling is from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service Thursday at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion. Rev. Richard Weisenberger will officiate.

Burial will be at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion.

Lillie L. Haynes

Lillie L. Haynes, 92, formerly of Marion, died Friday (Oct. 24, 2003) at her home in Dunedin, Fla.

Calling is from 4-7 p.m. Thursday and from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service Friday at the Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Rd., Marion. Rev. Steve Colter and Rev. William Babb will officiate.

Burial will be at the Lancaster Cemetery.

Lauren Nicole Betz, 19, Chambersburg, Pa., died at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 28, 2003) at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa., from injuries sustained in a multiple vehicle accident in Antrim Township, Pa.

Calling is from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, Pa.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Church of God, 339 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg. Rev. Michael C. Schooley and Rev. Trevor E. Rosenberry will officiate.

Burial will be at Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, Pa.

Jack M. Lowe, 81, Leesburg, died at 11:15 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 30, 2003) at his home.

Calling is from 4-5 p.m. Sunday at the Warsaw Funeral Chapel. Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Home in Warsaw with Chaplain Bob Weiss officiating.

Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery.
