Christopher C. Carter
Christopher Chase Carter was stillborn at 5:37 a.m. Thursday (April 1, 2004) at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Christopher S. and Tracey Carter, 219 Grayston Ave.
He is also survived by two brothers, Shawn Carter and Jesse Carter, both at home; and his grandparents, Bryon and Debbie Carter, Russellville, Ky., and Stewart and Joan McCoy, Roann.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, with calling one hour prior to services, at the Bailey-Love Mortuary. Burial will be in Babyland at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Helen E. Winkler, 78, 1411 E. State St., died at 11:42 a.m. Sunday (April 4, 2004) at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Deal-Robbins and Van Gilder Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at the Old Lutheran Union Cemetery, Huntington.

Velta B. Pursifull, 93, formerly of Huntington County, died at 5 p.m. Sunday (April 4, 2004) at the home of her daughter in Yoder.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service Wednesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee St., Markle. Pastor Amos Albright will officiate.
Interment will be at the Emmanuel Cemetery
in Wells County.

Marguerite Allen, 92, formerly of Markle, died Saturday (April 3, 2004) at the Falling Waters Health Center in Strongsville, Ohio.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Markle Chapel, 415 N. Lee St., Markle, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Interment will be at the Markle Cemetery.
Charles L. Swales
Charles L. Swales, 65, Decatur, died at 11:27 a.m. Sunday (April 4, 2004) at the Adams County Memorial Hospital, Decatur.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service Thursday at the Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home, 225 W. Adams St., Decatur. Rev. Rick Harris will officiate.
Burial will be at the Decatur Cemetery.
Devin A. Lhamon
Devin Alexander Lhamon, the 12-day-old infant son of Jeffrey Lynn and Stephanie Michelle Lindhorst Lhamon, 117 S. Nancy St., Warren, died at 11:10 p.m. Monday (April 5, 2004) at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Devin was born March 24, 2004 in Bluffton.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Brynn Ashlinn Lhamon, Warren; his grandparents, Robert and Patricia Lhamon, Wapakoneta, Ohio, and Dale and Debra Lindhorst, Warren; and his great-grandparents, Chrystal Neeley, Wapakoneta, Ohio, Goldie Lhamon, Lima, Ohio, and Ralph and Virginia Lindhorst and Kenneth Schanuel I and Doris Schanuel, all of Dupo, Ill.
Calling is 3-9 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the noon funeral service Friday at the Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene, Warren. Pastor Bill Keen will officiate.

E. Marie Warstler Hand, 85, Huntertown, died at 5:45 p.m. Friday (June 11, 2004) at Fort Wayne’s Lutheran Hospital. She had been hospitalized for two weeks.
