Tina M. Foster, 42, 1517 Grant St., Huntington, died at 6 p.m. Monday (June 14, 2004) at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was a life resident of Huntington.

Calling is from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr., Huntington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with Rev. Rob Stamper officiating.

Burial will be at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Cemetery at a later date.

Evelyn Ann Flynn

Evelyn Ann Hardacre Flynn, 73, Macy, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday (June 14, 2004) at the Life Care Center of Rochester.

Calling will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, 1101 Jefferson St., Rochester. Services will be at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. George Hapner officiating. Burial will be in the Citizens Cemetery, Rochester.

Preferred memorials are to the Hope Hospice of Fulton County.

Enedina M. Hesse

Enedina M. Hesse, 77, Marion, died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday (June 15, 2004) at the Wesleyan Health Care Center in Marion.

Calling is from 2 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service Sunday at Bethel Worship Center, 1715 E. 38th St., Marion. Rev. Michael Henson will officiate.

Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown and Son Chapel, Warren, is in charge of arrangements.

Elmer Elswick

Elmer Elswick, 81, Marion, died at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday (June 15, 2004) at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Marion Campus.

Calling is from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown and Son Chapel, Warren, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday with Pastor Jimi Staton officiating.

Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion.

Preferred memorials are to the New Life Baptist Church, 213 W. State St., Huntington, IN 46750.

Jean M. Conner

Jean M. Conner, 55, Markle, died at 7:55 p.m. Thursday (June 17, 2004) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Rev. Gerald Moreland will officiate.

Burial will be at the Markle Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in the name of Mrs. Conner’s grandchildren to the Kaitlyn Bowling and Jarrett Rennaker Trust Fund, or to the Hospice of Huntington County, both c/o McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.

Harry L. Moore

Harry L. Moore, 62, 1080 N. Jackson St., Andrews, died at 9:27 a.m. Friday (June 18, 2004) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Deal-Robbins and Van Gilder Funeral Home, Andrews Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Pastor Bill Bowling will officiate.

Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Andrews.

Richard D. Mayne

Richard D. “Dick” Mayne, 80, Bluffton, died at 7:26 p.m. Friday (June 18, 2004) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday at the Thoma/Rich, Hewitt & Chaney Funeral Home, 308 W. Washington St., Bluffton. The Bluffton Elks Lodge will conduct an Elks memorial service at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Gary Lewis officiating. Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Emy Lou Klein

Emy Lou Klein, 83, died Saturday (June 19, 2004) at Covington Manor Nursing Center, Fort Wayne.

Calling is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne. Services will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 611 W. Berry St., Fort Wayne IN 46802-2192.

Albert S. ‘Sid’ Dunn

Albert S. “Sid” Dunn, 85, formerly of Columbia City, died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday (June 17, 2004) at The Heritage of Huntington, where he was a resident.

Calling hours were from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home in Columbia City. Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Columbia City Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Thomas Beers officiating.

Burial was at the South Park Annex Cemetery in Columbia City.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Gary L. Dennis

Gary L. Dennis, 65, 511 Hasty St., died at 1:20 p.m. Saturday (June 19, 2004) at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

There are no calling hours. A private funeral service will be held later.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marion Police Department’s Chaplaincy Program, 301 S. Branson St., Marion IN 46952.

The Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, is in charge of arrangements.

Emily C. Brooks

Emily Claire Brooks was stillborn at 2:09 p.m. Friday (June 18, 2004) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Emily is survived by her parents, Kori and Sheena Conley Brooks, Huntington.

She is also survived by her grandparents, Wayne and Debbie Brooks, Huntington, and Donald and Lucinda Conley, Warsaw.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Claire Allison Brooks.

Private graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Lancaster Cemetery, with Rev. Kevin Dunlop officiating.

McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Helen B. Andrew

Helen B. Andrew, 86, 1145N-975W, Andrews, died at 8 a.m. Friday (June 18, 2004) at the Norwood Nursing Center.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Deal-Robbins and Van Gilder Funeral Home, Andrews Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Mark Whinery will officiate.

Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery, Andrews.

Preferred memorials are to the Andrews United Methodist Church, the Andrews Volunteer Fire Department, or the Andrews Lions Club Ball Diamond, all c/o Deal-Robbins and Van Gilder Funeral Home, 233 N. Main St., Andrews, IN 46702.

Harold J. Nash

Harold Nash, 75, Sebring, Fla., died at 7:56 a.m. Saturday (June 19, 2004) in Shediac, New Brunswick, Canada, where he and his wife were camping.

Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 25, at the funeral home, with Pastor Heather Olson-Bunnell officiating.

Ruth Shearer

Ruth Shearer, 87, Churubusco, a former resident of 16 E. Sunnydale Dr., died at 9:44 a.m. Tuesday (June 22, 2004) at the Parkview Whitley Hospital in Columbia City.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 25, at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, 605 Polk St., with Rev. Allen T. Goebbert officiating. There will be no visitation or burial.

Preferred memorials are to the PAL Club in care of the Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr., Huntington, IN 46750.
