Marvin Leo “Tim” Zorger, 79, South Whitley, died at 6:30 a.m. Thursday (July 22, 2004) at his home.

Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Saturday at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home in Columbia City. Services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Pastor Robert Gonser of Clear Creek Church officiating.

Burial will be at South Whitley Cemetery in South Whitley.

Preferred memorials are to Parkview Huntington Hospice or Clear Creek Church.

Larry Sower

Larry Sower, 57, Upland, died at 6:21 a.m. Wednesday (July 21, 2004) at his home.

Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Jones-Smith Funeral Home, 259 N. Main St., Upland, with Masonic rites at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Services will be held at the funeral Home at 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

James F. Ley

James F. Ley, 63, of Noblesville and formerly of Huntington, died at 12:49 a.m. Thursday (July 22, 2004) at the Indiana Heart Hospital in Indianapolis.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Father Gary Sigler will officiate.

Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date.

Preferred memorials are to the Victory Junction Camp, c/o Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, IN 46750.

Lowell S. Buzzard

Lowell Sherman Buzzard, 92, formerly of Huntington, died at 1:45 a.m. Thursday (July 22, 2004) at West Bay Nursing Center in Tampa, Fla.

Calling will be held from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service Sunday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary. Rev. Rodney Buzzard will officiate.

Burial will be at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the donor’s choice of charities, c/o Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr., Huntington, IN 46750.

Loren Tudor

Loren Tudor, 88, Eminence, died Saturday (July 24, 2004) at Clarian Health/Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Brother Gary Fiscus will officiate. Interment will be at the Mannan Cemetery, Cloverdale.

Preferred memorials are to the Eminence Christian Church, P.O. Box 203, Eminence, IN 46125.

Thornton H. Shearrer Jr.

Thornton Hugh Shearrer Jr., 64, Andrews, died at 10 p.m. Wednesday (July 21, 2004) at his home.

Calling is from 5-9 p.m. Sunday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary North Manchester Chapel, where services will be held 11 a.m. Monday.

Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.

William J. O’Banion

William J. O’Banion, 68, Muncie, died at 12:35 a.m. Saturday (July 24, 2004) at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.

Calling is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at Glancy Funeral Homes H. Brown and Son Chapel, Warren, where services will be held 3 p.m. Monday with Pastor Lynn Mefferd officiating.

Burial will be at Van Buren Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the family.

Paul D. Keller

Paul Daniel Keller, 86, of Thonotosassa, Fla., died Friday (July 23, 2004) at his home.

Calling is from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Stowers Brandon Chapel, Brandon, Fla., where services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Final services and burial will be held in Mt. Carmel, Ind.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Seffner, Fla., or to Huntington College, 2303 College Ave., Huntington, IN 46750.

Timothy D. Hilterbrand

Staff Sergeant Timothy D. Hilterbrand, 45, Fort Sill, Okla., died Friday (July 23, 2004) at his home.

Calling is from 3-5 p.m. Tuesday at Union Church, where services will be held 5 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Jeff Carrell and Pastor Howard Cherry officiating.

Burial with military honors will be at Union Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to the Hospice of Southwest Oklahoma in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr., Huntington, IN 46750.

Becker Funeral Home was in charge of services that will take place 2 p.m. Sunday at the Assembly of God in Lawton, Okla.

Janice V. Grimes

Janice V. Grimes, 84, a resident of Oak Brook Village, died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday (July 24, 2004) at the home.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Stephen Stull will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services for Huntington County in care of Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 338 E. Washington St., Huntington IN 46750.

Ernest ‘Butch’ Fisher

Ernest H. “Butch” Fisher, 62, Huntington, died at 6:20 p.m. Saturday (July 24, 2004) at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Calling is 5-9 p.m. today at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Father Ronald Rieder will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington County Chapter of the American Heart Association, in care of the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington IN 46750.

Kenneth A. Cloud

Kenneth A. Cloud, 72, Warren, died at 10:34 a.m. Saturday (July 24, 2004) at Marion General Hospital.

Calling is from 6-9 p.m. Monday at Glancy Funeral Homes-H. Brown & Son Chapel, Warren, and one hour prior to the funeral services, set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Warren United Methodist Church. Rev. Michael W. Malone will conduct the services.

Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.

Paul R. Carnes, 76, Poneto, died at 6 p.m. Thursday (July 22, 2004) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, Warren. Calling will also be held from 10 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. funeral service Monday at First Church of the Nazarene, 1515 Clark Ave., Bluffton. Pastor Larry Sheets will officiate.

Burial will be at Stahl Cemetery, Bluffton.

Mack E. Buckland, 71, 9395W-900S-90, Warren, died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday (July 24, 2004) at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown and Son Chapel, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Pastor Eric Dubach will officiate. Burial will be at the Asbury Cemetery, Montpelier.
