Maxine Jones, 89, Noblesville, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2003, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie following a 10 month illness.
She was born on January 31, 1914, in Indianapolis.
She was a member of the Central Community Chapel in Anderson.
She is survived by her husband, Edward E. "Jack" Jones; four children, Edward (wife, Glenda) Jones, Jr. of Mayfield, KY, Patsy (husband, Bill) Peterson of Columbus, OH, Norma Saathoff of Anderson, and Christopher Jones of Noblesville; twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at Ford Street United Methodist Church in Lapel with Rev. Richard "Dick" Gregg officiating. Burial will be at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Fishers.
Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.

Florence Males
Florence Males, 88, Lapel, passed away Monday January 13, 2003, at Monticello House in Anderson following a brief illness. She was born on August 1, 1914 in Noblesville, Indiana to Otto and Nellie Castetter. She retired from Delco Remy after 20 years of employment. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the the former Lapel Order of Eastern Star Chapter 457.She is survived by one daughter, Leah Sue (husband, Roger) Renbarger of Lapel; two grandchildren, Rhonda (husband, Bill) Kuntz of Anderson, and Jon Renbarger of Lapel; four great-grandchildren, Kristen Kuntz, Kelsey Renbarger, J. R. Renbarger, and Josh Hackney; and one sister, Ruth Springer of Ft. Wayne. She was preceded in death by her husband John Males in 1996.Services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel. Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 606, Lapel, Indiana 46051.

Jay Warren Hersberger
Jay Warren Hersberger, Lake Placid Florida, age 76, formerly of Lapel , died on Thursday March 31, 2005 after a brief illness.
He was born on November 18, 1928 , in Lapel, son of Tilghman and Villie (Hinton) Hersberger.
He was retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer, Fire Controll Technician, and was a member and Past Commander of American Legion Post 212 , VFW; Trinity United Methodist Church; A life member of AMVETS; and Fleet Reserve Association.
He is survived by four children, daughter, Lynn (husband, Barie) VanZel of Altamonte Springs, FL.; daughter, Gail (husband, John) Specht of Lapel;. son, Jay Herberger of Lake Placid, FL; Lyle Hersberger of Brandwine, MD. ; nine grandchildren, Sherri (husband, Scott) Noble of Lapel, ; Jessica (husband, Kerry) Stewart of Indianapolis; Nelson (wife Emily) Specht of Middletown; Amanda (husband, Scott) King of Lapel; Wesley Hersberger of Brandywine, MD.; Brittany Hersberger of Brandywine, MD.; Eric Hersberger of Lake Placid, FL.; Cindy (husband, Joshua) Cohen of , New Jersey ; Cathy Ryle of Altamonte Spring, FL. ;and seven Great GrandchildrenShelby Noble of Lapel, ; Mitchell Noble of Lapel, Abigail Specht of Lapel; Chrystal King of Lapel; Amber King of Lapel; Calvin Perrie Specht of Middletown; and Grayson Stewart of Indianapolis; Brother, Morris (wife, Jean) Hersberger of Lapel; Brother, John (wife, Sue) Hersberger of Winchester; sister, Martha Jane (husband, Max) Lee of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.; and sister-in-law Phyllis Hersberger of Noblesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Grace Perrie Hersberger, and a brother Paul Herbert Hersberger.
Memorial Service will be held 6:00 P.M. Monday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Evan Lash officiating.
Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.

Doris K. McDole
Doris K. McDole, 64, Lapel, passed away Tuesday January 14, 2003, at her residence. She was born on July 19, 1938, in Fortville, Indiana to Vernon and Doris (Chapple) Cook. She was retired from Brockway Glass in Lapel after 22 years of employment. She was a member of Lapel American Legion Auxiliary, Lapel Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4323, and was a past member of Lapel Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Ted McDole; two daughters, Jamie (husband, Stan) Studebaker of Alexandria, and Christie (husband, Brian) Howell of Lapel; a daughter-in-law, Vickie McDole of Lapel; one sister, Shirley Larkin of Fairmount; two brothers, John (wife, Dee) Cook of Fortville, and Jesse (wife, Rosie) Cook of Ingalls; eight grandchildren, Kevin McDole, David McDole, Matt McDole, Ian Howell, Kayla Studebaker, Aaron Studebaker, Kyle Studebaker, and Sierra Studebaker; three great-grandchildren, Stephani McDole, Christian McDole, and Hunter Studebaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Ronald McDole and Lawrence McDole. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Mike Willoughby officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery in Lapel. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.

Loren McDonald
Loren McDonald, 88, Pendleton, passed away Monday March 10, 2003, at Manor Care Health Services in Anderson following an extended illness.
He was born on January 4, 1915, in Hamilton County, Indiana to Fortner and Fern (Edrington) McDonald.
He retired in 1974 from Delco Remy after 38 years of employment. After retiring, he spent summers at Steinbarger Lake in Noble County, Indiana and wintered in North Fort Myers, Florida. He returned to Madison County, Indiana to the Fall Creek Retirement Village in 2002.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of North Fort Myers and Saint Matthew United Methodist Church of Anderson, the Lapel Masonic Lodge No. 625 where he served as master in 1950, and the former Lapel Order of Eastern Star Chapter 457.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine May (Jones) McDonald whom he married November 22, 1939; one son, Gary (wife, Karen) McDonald of Anderson; one daughter, Marica (husband, Phil) Estep of Anderson; two granddaughters, Debbie (husband, John) Somerville of Anderson and Laura (husband, Ric) Vega of Zionsville; five great-grandchildren, Emily Somerville, Holly Somerville, Ricky Vega, Anthony Vega, and Grace Vega.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Roger McDonald, and Tom McDonald.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. John Young of St. Matthew United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at the Prairie Memorial Cemetery in rural Noblesville.
Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Masonic memorial services will be conducted at 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.

Betty J. McNally
Betty J. McNally, 82, Lapel, passed away Saturday August 9, 2003, at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville following a brief illness.
She was born on February 23, 1921, in Noblesville, Indiana to David and Dessie (Cook) Gerber.
She is survived by four daughters, Sandra Kay (husband, Paul) Morris of Richmond, NH, Pat (husband, Leonard) Cook of Lapel, Linda (husband, Malcolm) Cobb of Lapel, and Peggy (husband, Don) Gunn of Noblesville; three brothers, David (wife, Alberta) Gerber of Noblesville, Larry (wife, Anna) Gerber of Anderson, and Doug (wife, Wilma) Gerber of Paragon; one sister, Ruth King of Lapel; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Bud" McNally in 1986; a son, Jimmy McNally; and a daughter, Janet Michael.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Ford Street United Methodist Church in Lapel with Rev. Steve Gerber officiating. Burial will be at the Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.

Stephen M. Meyers
Stephen M. Meyers, 38, Lapel, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2003, at Riverview Hospital Noblesville after a sudden illness.
He was born on May 31, 1965, in East Chicago, Indiana to Jim and Kay (Herman) Meyers.
He was a driver for O'Leary Transport and was a member of the Ewing, IL Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa (Reddick) Meyers whom he married May 3, 2003; a step-son Dylan Cantor of Lapel; his father, Jim (wife, Nancy) Meyers of New Castle; his mother, Kay Meyers of Lapel; one brother, Scott (wife, Michelle) Meyers of Lapel; three half-brothers, John Meyers of New Castle, Tim Meyers of Lebanon, and Tom Meyers of Lebanon; a half-sister, Shelley (husband, Jason) Winter of Mooreland; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Herman of Greenwood; two nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Adam Meyers.
Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Ford Street United Methodist Church in Lapel with Rev. Neal Brown officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Friends may call from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
A Masonic Memorial Service will be conducted at 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

James M. Millikan
James M. Millikan, 80, Noblesville, died April 14, 2003, at Manor Care Health Services in Anderson following an extended illness.
He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of World War II and he retired in 1980 from Delco Remy as a shipping foreman.
Survivors include his two children, Rita (husband, Fred) Dailey and Jim (wife, Connie) Millikan; two brothers, Warren Millikan and Jack Millikan; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
His wife, Virginia (Edrington) Millikan died in 1994.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with the Rev. Evan L. Lash officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 606, Lapel, IN 46051-0606.

Dick Mills
Joe Richard "Dick" Mills, 69, Lapel, passed away Saturday January 25, 2003, at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida following an extended illness.
He was born on May 08, 1933, in Lapel to Howard and Margaret (Woodward) Mills, Sr.
Though he retired in 1990 from Kerr Glass in Dunkirk, Joe had been employed for several years by Brockway Glass in Lapel He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel.
He is survived by his wife, Idabelle (Renbarger) Mills; five children, Kim Mills of Winchester, Jerry (wife, Janet) Mills of Roann, Mickey (wife, Brenda) Mills of Lapel, Jim (wife, Dee) Mills of Pendleton, and Shelly (husband, Bill) Busch of Noblesville; one brother, Howard (wife, Carol) Mills, Jr. of Noblesville; eighteen grandchildren, Shane Mills, Michael Mills, Erica Mills, Levi Mills, Joseph Aaron Mills, Arrick Tyler Mills, Kathleen Mills, Matthew Mills, Jayson Mills, Darrick Mills, Morgan Mills, Hunter Mills, Mason Mills, Brooks Busch, Parker Busch, Dalton Busch, and Dane Busch; and two great-grandchildren, Brauch Mills and Phoenix Mills.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gene Mills; and a sister, Mary Kay Weaver.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel with Rev. Ed Purciful officiating. Private family graveside services will be held at Brookside Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
