Joel Clarence Faust
Joel Clarence Faust, 80 of Monessen, Pennsylvania, formerly of Washington, Pennsylvania and Anderson, Indiana area, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2006, after a brief illness.
He was born on February 3, 1926 in Noblesville, Indiana to Clarence Edward and Mary Lorena Wiles Faust.
He attended Pendleton, Indiana High School and then enlisted in the United States Navy on February 1, 1944 during World War II. He served on the U.S.S. Brooklyn CL40 in the Mediterranean and received ribbons and stars for the three theaters in which he fought: The American Area Service Ribbons; the European-African Middle-Eastern Area Service Ribbon, West Coast of Italy Operations Star, and the Invasion of Southern France Star; and the World War Two Victory Medal. He was discharged from the United States Navy on January 6, 1946 as a Fireman, Second Class and then finished his high school education and earned his diploma.
Mr. Faust worked for Omar Baker, Davis Dairy and then became employed by Brockway Glass Company in Lapel, Indiana. He later transferred to the Brockway Glass Company Plant in Washington, Pennsylvania as a superintendent of Maintenance. In 1978, he transferred back to the Brockway Glass Plant in Lapel, Indiana where he retired in 1983.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 945, Washington Lodge 165 Free and Accepted Masons, Wa-Cha-Gree-Forrest 149 Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and Lodge Council Chapter Consistory Scottish Rite Valley of Pittsburgh.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Frances (Wooden) Faust, who he married on December 25, 1949. He is also survived by his three children, Brent C. (wife ,Margaret) Faust of Frankton, Indiana; Terry L. (wife, Tina) Faust of Washington, Pennsylvania; and Marla Jo (husband, Kelly) McCloskey of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvanina. He had 8 gradchildren, Michelle Hobbs of Lapel, IN; Kristin and Jordan Faust of Washington, Pennsylvanina; Joel Houston, Keven, Mitchell, Matthew, and little Sarah McCloskey of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania. He had 3 great-grandsons, Derek Faust, Dylan and Tyler Hobbs of Lapel, Indiana. He is also survived by two sister, Virginia I. Bockman, and Eve H. (husband, Paul) Bevelheimer of Warsaw, Indiana. and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Jason Edward Faust.

Jordan K. Lynch
Jordan Keith Lynch, 23, Anderson, passed away Monday, May 8, 2006, at Community Hospital in Anderson.
He was born on February 7, 1983, in Anderson, Indiana to R. Keith and Chris (Hersberger) Lynch.
He was a 2001 Lapel High School Graduate and he attended Indiana State University and Lincoln Technical Institute. He played T-ball through Babe Ruth baseball in the Lapel little league and was coached by his dad. While in high school, Jordan played varsity football, basketball, and track all four years. He was a member of the Letterman's Club and the Art Club and his art entry had won best in show two years. He was named Homecoming King and Outstanding Male Athlete his senior year.
He is survived by his parents, R. Keith and Chris (Hersberger) Lynch, Jr. of Anderson; a brother, Joshua Lynch of Anderson; his maternal grandmother, Phyllis Hersberger of Noblesville; his paternal grandfather, Richard K. (wife, Joyce) Lynch, Sr. of Orlando, FL; his paternal grandmother, Marylee Hurst of Alexandria; five aunts and uncles, Mori (wife, Patty) Hersberger of Noblesville, Dale (wife, Gloria) Lynch of Houston, TX, Cheryl (husband, Tony) Kettery of Alexandria, Patty (husband, George) Kilgore of Anderson, and Gary Morris of Orlando, FL; several cousins including, Joel and Meghan Hersberger of Anderson, and Nathan Statzer of Fishers; and countless friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul Herbert Hersberger.
Jordan will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was a wonderful joy to be around. Jordan was a person who always helped someone whether he knew them or not and he believed in what was right. He did not like people being treated indifferently. We love you son!
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery
in Lapel.

Kenneth E. Bolton
Kenneth E. Bolton, 92, Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at his residence following a brief illness.
He was born on July 23, 1912 in Festus, Missouri to Frank and Elizabeth (Marshall) Bolton.
He was a WWII Navy veteran and served in the Pacific Theater. He retired from Sears Roebuck & Co. in Anderson as a sales person in 1976.
He was a member of the Ford Street United Methodist Church and a retired member of the Lapel Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, I. Louise (Carter) Bolton; two sons, Ronald (wife, Marcella) Bolton of Cape Coral, FL, and Michael (wife, Debbie) Bolton of Fort Wayne, IN; a son-in-law, Fred Presser of Fort Wayne, IN; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra K. Presser in 1994.
Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Monday at Brookside Cemetery
in Lapel with Rev. Linda Martin officiating.

Alexa Brynn Land, Anderson, was still born Tuesday, January 17, 2006, at Community Hospital of Anderson.
She is survived by her parents, Brittany Hobbs and Christopher Land of Anderson; maternal grandparents, Marla and Glen Hobbs of Anderson; paternal grandparents, Duane and Wanda Land of Paoli; maternal great-grandparents, P. J. Armstrong of Lapel, and Herb and Ruth Hobbs of Lapel; paternal grandmothers, Oma Land of Lebanon, and Allene Humphrey of Paoli; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery

Dr. Lee Ann Anderson Bradfield
Dr. Lee Ann Anderson Bradfield, 48, Anderson, passed away Monday, September 5, 2005 at her residence.
She was bom on November 22, 1956, in Anderson, Indiana to Willis and Ruth Ann (Braddick) Anderson.
She was a 1975 Anderson High School graduate, she received her bachelor's degree from Ball State University and her doctorate from I. U. Medical School.
She practiced as a pathologist at Community Hospital in Anderson. She was a talented artist and loving mother.
She is survived by her husband, Ted Bradfield; one daughter. Jenny Crye of Anderson; her parents, Willis H. and Ruth Ann Anderson of Anderson; two brothers, James S. Anderson of Anderson, and Dr. Robert W. {wife, Monica) Anderson of Noblesville; two nephews, William Anderson and Andrew Anderson; and one niece, Maria Anderson.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.

Leland Stewart
Leland Wayne "Stew" Stewart, 81, Anderson, passed away Monday, May 28, 2007, at Clarian West Medical Center in Avon following a four month illness.
He was born on July 20, 1925, in Lebanon, Indiana to James and Verna (Price) Stewart.
He graduated from Anderson High School in 1943 and served in the U. S. Coast Guard.
Leland retired in 1978 from Guide Division of General Motors after over 30 years of employment.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lapel Lions Club, and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Betty J. (Jones) Stewart; one daughter, Vickie J. (husband, Terry) Bennett of Plainfield; two grandsons, Anthony A. Bennett of Wilmington, NC, and Thomas C. Bennett of Temple, TX; three great-grandchildren, Micala, Cade, and Callie Bennett; and a nephew, Robert Jones of Dallas, TX.
He was preceded in death by, his parents; one brother, Leonard Stewart; and two sisters, Dorthea Withers, and Wilma Rone.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.

Lillian F. Springer
Lillian F. Springer, 81, Lapel, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2005 at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born on June 13, 1924, in Millville, New Jersey to Chester and Mary (Turnbull) Bowen.
She retired in 1986 from Delco Remy after 30 years of employment.
She was a member of the U. A. W. Local 662.
She is survived by four sons, Paul (wife, Marsha) Springer of Lapel, Rodney Springer of Anderson, Bruce (wife, Tonja) Springer of Lapel, and Mark Springer of Lapel; one brother, Leroy Bowen of Albuquerque, NM; nine grandchildren, Keith Springer, Brian Brinker, Staci Brack, Jason Springer, James Springer, Daniel Springer, Kendra Springer, Molly Springer, and Johathan Springer; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Springer and Bill Springer; and a grandson, Scott Springer.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday at Rocap Shannon Funeral Home in Millville, NJ. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery
in Millville.

L. Lucille Huffman
L. Lucille Huffman, 76, Lapel, died Sunday, December 18, 2005, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born March 6, 1929, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Jacob Edward and Anna Marie (Pippert) Klinefelter.
She was a 1947 Anderson High School graduate and she had been employed at one time in the cafeteria at Lapel School and at Fort Benjamin Harrison.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, David Huffman; three children, Sherry Warrum of Anderson, Cindy (husband, Tom) Stephenson of Anderson, and David (wife, Sandy) Huffman of Middletown; nine grandchildren, Dennis (wife, Caroline) McGlacken of Fishers, Shelly (husband, Rich) Hogan of Pendleton, Matthew (wife, Megan) Warrum of Fishers, Joshua Warrum of Anderson, Brian (wife, Jennifer) Stephenson of Indianapolis, Kevin (wife, Mollie) Stephenson of Martinez, Georgia, Jamie (wife, Kelly) Huffman of Anderson, Jeff (wife, Amie) Huffman of Tucson, Arizona, and Lisa (husband, Nathan) Oldham of Markleville; and eleven great-grandchildren, Katie McGlacken, Blake Hogan, Brody Hogan, Damieon Warrum, Sally Stephenson, Melanie Stephenson, Abigail Stephenson, Cameron Huffman, Tanner Huffman, Zoe Huffman, and Avery Oldham.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
Services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, Lapel with Rev. Steve Duffitt officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
