Marian Woodward
Marian Woodward, 74, Lawrence, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2005, at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Hospital in Indianapolis after an extended hospital stay..
She was born on May 15, 1931, in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Winburn R. Pierse and Dorothy F. (Fisher) Pierse Templin and had lived in Anderson prior to moving to Lawrence.
She was a 1949 graduate of Anderson High School and she had owned a bridal shop, crafts shop, and ceramics shop and had been a homemaker and seamstress.
She is survived by five children, Michael S. Woodward of Plainfield, Catherine Muse of Lawrence, Paul R. "Randy" Woodward of Nakomis, FL, Karen Fowler of Anderson, and Lisa Mitchel of Anderson; one brother, Donald E. Pierse of Edinburgh; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preced in death by her parents and her husband, Norman D. Woodward, originally of Lapel.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Don Billey officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.

Mabel Mae McClintick
Mabel Mae McClintick, 89, Lapel, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2005, at Saint John's Health System in Anderson following a sudden illness.
She was born on November 27, 1915, in Hamilton County, Indiana to Edward and Ettie (McNew) Peters.
She was a Lapel High School graduate and was member of T. O. P. S. she also enjoyed decorating cakes.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Jane (husband, Steve) Clouse of Lapel; five grandchildren, Kenneth A. (wife, Donna) Bourke, Michelle Hobbs, Angela (husband, Terry) Jackson, Melissa (husband, Matt) Bannon, and Mike Clouse all of Lapel; and seven great grandchildren, Stephanie Bourke, Derek Faust, John Jackson, Dylan Hobbs, Tyler Hobbs, Kenneth C. Bourke, and Peyton Bannon.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles James McClintick whom she married November 27, 1938; her daughter, Janiece Bourke; a grandson, Jason Faust; one brother, Clifford Peters; and two sisters, Ruth Modlin, and Evelyn Shull.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery
in Lapel.

Marjorie G. Hoffman
Marjorie G. Hoffman, 97, Anderson, passed away Friday, January 27, 2006, at Manor Care Health Services Anderson following an extended illness.
She was born on March 1, 1908, in Madison County, Indiana to Samuel and Winnefred (Bartholomew) Gwinn.
She was a 1926 Lapel High School graduate and was employed at Delco Remy for over 20 years.
She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel, the Alpha Circle at Bethel United Methodist Church, the Mount Moriah Order of Eastern Star and the former Lapel Order of Eastern where she was a past matron, the No Name Bridge Clup and the Carousel Club. She also served on the Job's Daughters Council.
The family would like to thank her friends at Love Bears for their caring help.
She is survived by Daughter, Phyllis "Pinkie" (husband, Gene) Magers of Anderson; one grandson, James (wife, Beth) Magers of Noblesville; and two great-grandsons, John Magers, and Daniel Magers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Hoffman in 1967; and by her special friend, Ralph Wellons.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery
in Lapel.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel where a Order of Eastern Star memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 pm.

Mark A. Boschini
Mark A. Boschini, 70, Anderson, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2006, at Extended Care Unit Of Community Hospital in Anderson following a brief illness.
He was born on June 14, 1935, in Brockway, Pennsylvania to Frank and Mary (Freemer) Boschini.
He retired in 1989 from O-I Brockway Glass after 35 years of employment and he had been the Lapel plant manager.
He was a member of the Ridgway, PA Elks Club and the Falls Creek, PA Eagles.
He is survived by his wife, Rose (Ambrosia) Boschini three children, George (wife, Kate) Boschini of North Carolina, Georgia (husband, Rex) Porter of Loveland, OH, and Renee Boschini of Nashville, TN; three step-daughters, Sandra (husband, Frank) Elia Fitch of Lapel, Mary Jo (husband, Dalles) Elia Vaughn of Alexandria, and Kathy (husband, Tom) Elia McCollum of Perkinsville; one brother, Donald (wife, Phyllis) Boschini of Marienville, PA; one sister, Mary (husband, Tom) Warner of Treasure Lake, PA; six grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Boschini.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 9:30 AM Friday at the Saint Tobias Catholic Church in Brockway, Pennsylvania. Burial will be at the Saint Tobias Cemetery
in Brockway, Pennsylvania.
There will be no visiting hours.

Mark C. Brattain
Mark C. Brattain, 49, Hobart, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2007, at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL following a brief illness.
He was born on February 11, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Halford and Betty (Otto) Brattain.
He graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School in 1976 and received a bachelors degree from Indiana University in 1981.
Mark was a deputy day editor at the Post Tribune in Merrillville where he had been employed for the last 23 years.
He was a member of the Clarksville Christian Church.
He is survived by his mother, Betty (Otto) Brattain, Noblesville; one brother David (wife, Wanda) Brattain of Noblesville; one sister, Amy (husband, Tim) George of Indianapolis; four nieces and nephews, Sam Brattain, Laura Brattain, Ethan George, and Amanda George; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Halford H. Brattain.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Steve Fair officiating. Burial will follow in Crownland Cemetery, Noblesville.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.

Mary L. Sheller
Mary L. Sheller, 84, Lapel, passed away Friday, May 19, 2006, at her residence following several years of declining health.
She was born on March 6, 1922, in Carrington, North Dakota to Harold and Lena (White) Land.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel.
She is survived by four children, Sandra (husband, Tom) Riley of Chesterfield, Paula Sheller of Columbia City, Jeffrey (wife, Brenda) Sheller of Anderson, and Kathy (husband, Dan) Garner of Westfield; two brothers, Robert (wife, Marian) Land of Anderson, and Donald (wife, Kay) Land of Clearwater, FL; ten grandchildren, Christina Riley, Mathew Garner, Julia Garner, Melissa (husband, Josh) Cooper, Jesse (wife, Angie) Garner, Jason (wife, Alisha) Fowler, Josh Fowler (companion, Kim Wisker), Angela Sheller, Amy Jo Sheller (companion, Jeremiah Lapole), and Jana (husband, Russell) McNeal; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Russell Sheller; a brother, Francis Land, and her parents.
Services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Evan Lash and Pastor Larry Svendsen officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery
in Lapel.

Lawrence McDole
Lawrence K. "Cracker" McDole, 66, DuBois, PA, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2004, at residence following an extended illness.
He was born on September 18, 1938, in Lapel, Indiana to Fred and Mary (Purkey) McDole.
He worked as a supervisor at the Brockway Glass Company then Owens-Brockway for 42 years and had worked in engineering and research for the last 25 years.
He was an avid NASCAR fan especially of Dale Earndhart.
He is survived by wife whom he married April 27, 1957, Mary Lois (Killman) McDole; his mother, Mary McDole of Noblesville; four children, Lawrence McDole, Jr. of Noblesville, Jim (wife, Penny) McDole of Lapel, Penny (husband, Kevin) McCarthy of Carlisle, PA, and Tim (wife, Carrie) McDole of Brockport, PA; five brothers, Ted McDole of Lapel, Fred McDole of Noblesville, Donald McDole of Lapel, Troy McDole of Anderson, and Randal McDole of Lapel; three sisters, Treva Evans of Noblesville, Jane Bland of Lapel, and Kathy Flatford of Tennessee; 9 grandchildren including Lauren who was very close to his heart; and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred; and two brothers, Dennis and Gary McDole.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Jerry Snyder officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.

Mike Gray
Mike Gray, 62, Elwood, passed away Friday, June 10, 2005, at Riverview Hospital Noblesville following a brief illness.
He was born on July 3, 1942, in Greenfield, Indiana to Edward and Inez (Snider) Gray.
He was a 1960 graduate of Pendleton High School and was employed at Morse Lake Marina as well as doing custom combining.
He is survived by his wife, Mona (Hayes) Gray; four daughters, Pam (husband, Scott) Beechler, Paula Green, Michelle (husband, Chad) Galloway, and Gwen (husband, Frankie) McClendon all of Noblesville; six grandchildren, Chip (wife, Christy) Green, Corey (wife, Michelle) Green, Josh Kennedy, Stacy Green, Michael McClendon, Christopher McClendon, and Rachelle Gray; three great grandchildren, Cody Green, Harley Green, Deacon Green; and one brother, Darryl "Blackie" (wife, Letty) Gray of Pendleton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Jerry Lloyd Brown officiating. Burial will be at the Eden Cemetery.
