Bradley V. Grimes
Bradley V. Grimes, 92, Pendleton, former Noblesville resident, passed away Friday, December 15, 2006, at Saint John's Health System in Anderson following an extended illness.
He was born on June 8, 1914, in Demming, Indiana to Charles and Lula (Freeman) Grimes.
Bradley retired in 1979 from Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation as a bus driver and was also retired from farming.
He was a member of Prairie Baptist Church in Noblesville.
He is survived by five children, Carolyn (husband, John) Blazier of Pendleton, Larry (wife, Mary) Grimes of Pendleton, Charlotte (husband, Joe) Ridgeway of Winchester, Jeff (wife, Jodi) Grimes of Anderson, and Teresa (husband, Ed) Harkness of Edmore, MI; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, A. Berniece (VanMeter) Grimes.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Bob Williams officiating. Burial will be at the Prairie Memorial Cemetery in rural Noblesville.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.

Cory Clark
Jenna Clark
Cory Clark, 26, and Jenna Clark, 4, Anderson, passed away Wednesday February 25, 2004.
Cory was born on March 14, 1977, in Anderson to Blaine Coomer and Christina Flemming. Jenna was born on April 16, 1999, in Noblesville to John Wesley "Chip" and Cory (Coomer) Clark.
Cory attended the Day Break Community Church in Lapel and volunteered at the Lapel Elementary.
They are survived by their husband and father, Chip Clark; a daughter and sister, Morgan Clark; father and grandfather, Blaine (wife, Terri) Coomer of Indianaplis; mother and grandmother, Christina Flemming of Indianapolis; in-laws and grandparents, John L. and Kathleen Clark of Lake Wales, FL; brother and uncle, Andrew Coomer of Indianapolis; half-brothers and uncles, Jacob Coomer and Blake Coomer of Indianapolis; grandmothers-in-law and great-grandmothers, Elsie Clark of Lake Wales, FL and Ann Hickey of Anderson; sisters-in-law and aunts, Karla Kelly of Mansfield, TX and Kristina Foley of Lapel; brother-in-law and uncle, Joseph Clark of Anderson; uncles and great-uncles, Jeff Coomer of Lapel and Gary Coomer of Springboro, OH; and a special dear friend, Tonya Little of Lapel.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel with Rev. Terry Coomer officiating.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel.

Carlis Norris
Carlis Norris, 81, Lapel, passed away Tuesday May 6, 2003 at Rawlins House Pendleton following a brief illness.
He was born on September 10, 1921 in Burksville, Kentucky to Bradley and Gladys (Anderson) Norris.
He was a member of of the Trinity United Methodist Church, and was a United States Army Veteran of World War II.
He is survived by a son, Jay (wife, Jeanette) Norris of Mongo, IN. , one daughter, Carolyn (husband, Steve) Closser of Anderson, Seven Grandchildren Todd (wife, Dawn) Norris of Poland, IN, , Tracey Norris of San Antonio, TX. , Tami (Fiance, Kenny Shackelfurd) Morgan of Muncie, Dennis (wife, Tracey) Norris of Lagrange, Jennifer (husband, Terry) Bilbrey of Anderson, Stephanie (husband, Chad) Crawley of Anderson, Kim (husband, Mark) Jones of Lapel, ; Five Great Grandchildren Brock Morgan , Janea Norris , Janell Norris, Jamie Jarrett , Dalton Jarrett , ; and one sister, Ruby (husband, Ed) McIntire of Pigeon Forge, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents David and Gladys Norris; his wife Margaret (Harless) Norris in September 30, 2002; and five brothers Clarence Norris, Bob Norris, Willie Norris, and James Norris.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Cole officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel where the Lapel American Legion Post 212 will perform military graveside rites.
Friends may call 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
The family request that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.

Connie J. Quackenbush
Connie J. Quackenbush, 61, Lapel, passed away Friday, September 1, 2006, at her daughter's residence in Lapel following a one year illness.
She was born on November 26, 1944, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Michael and Dorothy (Williams) Jauregui. She had lived in Yoder and Greenwood before moving to Lapel.
She was a member of the Saint Aloysius Catholic Church in Yoder and the Phi Beta Psi sorority. She was employed by the NCAA.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Quackenbush; four children, Thomas Quackenbush, Jr. of McCordsville, Cheryl (husband, Tom) Campbell of Indianapolis, Simon Quackenbush of Diamond Bar, CA, and Teri (husband, Christopher) Bock of Lapel; her parents, Michael and Dorothy (Williams) Jauregui of Ossian; two sisters, Susan (husband, Ron) Graft of Uniondale, and Linda (husband, Tim) Otis of Ossian; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held 1:00 PM at Saint Alosius Catholic Church in Yoder with Father Dom officiating. Burial will be at the Saint Aloysius Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel and from 11:00 AM until the time of the service Tuesday at Saint Aloysius Catholic Church in Yoder.
Memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia research at Indiana University Medical Center.

Patti McClintock
Patricia Jo "Patti" McClintock, 58, Lapel, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following four month illness.
She was born on January 12, 1949, in Noblesville, Indiana to Albert and Phyllis (Taylor) Finch.
She graduated from Northwest High School in 1967.
Patti was a cook at Lapel School and helped support her family business, McClintock & Son Trucking.
She was active in the former Lapel Mother's Club and supported many Lapel School and community activities.
She is survived by her husband, Roger McClintock; four children, Robert McClintock of Anderson, Tracy (husband, Andy) Bracken of Anderson, Yana (husband, Todd) Mosley of Pleasant Hope, MO, and Christopher "Hogg" McClintock of Lapel; one brother, Alan Finch of Lapel; one sister, Pamela Hazel of Lapel; five grandchildren, Ashley Mosley, Elizabeth Mosley, Nichole Mosley, Brock Bracken, and Drew Bracken; one great-granddaughter, Alexis Slavens; and a special niece, Julie (husband, Jim) Arney of Fishers.
She was preceded in death by, her parents; and a sister Linda Sue Birden.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Richard Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes. Association.

Naomi Ruth Ledbetter
Naomi Ruth "Ruthie" Ledbetter, 45, formerly of Lapel, passed away Monday June 24, 2002, at AmeriCare Living Center of Anderson following an extended illness.
She was born on November 27, 1956, in Noblesville to Sherman and Pearl (Williams) Ledbetter.
She enjoyed family, friends, bingo, church, working on her computer, going to school and Princess Diana.
She is survived by two sisters, Lynn (husband, Terry) Van Horn of Lapel and Susan Kaelbli of Anderson; one adopted sister, Robin Taapken of Anderson; five nephews, Roger Van Horn, Brandon Van Horn, Christopher Kaelbli, Justin Taapken, Cory Taapken; one niece, Mindy Van Horn; one step-nephew, Terry Van Horn; one step-niece, Brandy Van Horn; two uncles, John (wife, Flo) Williams of Noblesville and James Williams of Ripley, OH; one great aunt, Betty McNally of Lapel; several cousins and many friends who Naomi had met and whose hearts she had touched in a very special way throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Curt W. FLowers.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Daniel Westlund officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Friends may call from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.

Nancy S. Rice
Nancy S. Rice, 60, Lapel, passed away Saturday June 5, 2004, at her residence with her family by her side.
She was born on June 14, 1943, in Anderson, Indiana to L. Harold and M. Waneda (Robinette) Gray.
She was a school bus driver for Lapel school for over 24 years.
She was a member of the Lapel Eagles Auxiliary, the Frankton American Legion Auxiliary and she was a 4-H leader for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Norman Rice; two sons, Brett A. Rice of Poland, and Brian L. (wife, Kelly) Rice of Lapel; her mother, Waneda Gray of Leesburg; one sister, Patricia (husband, Max, Sr.) Newkirk of Indianapolis; one brother, Tom Gray of Leesburg; two grandchildren, Kraig Rice and Katee Rice; her mother-in-law, Gayle Rice of Anderson; two sisters-in-law, Georgie Jean Elgin of Salem, and Margie Sheahan of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Harold Gray and her father-in-law, George Rice.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Richard Cole officiating. Burial will be at the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

Monna E. Riggins
Monna E. Riggins, 77, Anderson, passed away Monday, November 6, 2006, at Saint John's Health System in Anderson following an extended illness.
She was born on March 7, 1929, in Decatur, Indiana to Everett and Hester (Ort) Venis.
She retired in 1999 from Anderson Psychiatric Clinic.
She is survived by four children, Stephen (wife, Marianne) Riggins, Rex (wife, Annette) Riggins, Lorraine (husband, Victor) Bagg of Anderson, and Valerie Ray of Wabash; seven grandchildren, Sean (wife, Carolyn) Riggins, Jill Vershaw, Jason (wife, Shelly) Connell, Anna (husband, Rick) Stingley, Rex (wife, Sarah) Riggins, Jr., Landon Gates, and Zachary (wife, Brooke) Ray; twelve great-grandchildren, Erin, Cody, Kaitlin, Kristen, Dominic, Keaton, McKenna, Elise, Evan, Jacob, Gabriel, and Samuel; and her dear friend and her family, Nancy (husband, Herschel) Hinkle of Lapel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford Riggins; and a brother, Earl Venis.
Services will be held at 6:00 PM Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev.s Brad Storm and Neil Butcher officiating.
Friends may call from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Friday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
