Michael F. Wainscott
Michael F. Wainscott, 46, Noblesville, passed away Tuesday February 17, 2004.
He was born on March 27, 1957, in Noblesville, Indiana to Forrest and Nilah (Girton) Wainscott.
He was a 1976 graduate of Hamilton Southeastern High school and was employed by Waitt Trucking in Westfield.
He was a member of the International Harvester Chapter 10 Club in Illinois and the N. R. A.
He is survived by five brothers and sisters, Lynn Wainscott of Lapel, David Wainscott of Cicero, Mary Molter of Kentland, Kay Griffith of Noblesville, Jean Fleming of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews and close friends, Wilson, Portia, and Curt Gatewood and Jayne Miller.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at Ford Street United Methodist Church in Lapel with Rev. Mark Helm officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.

H. Maxine Curnutt,
H. Maxine Curnutt, 92, Anderson, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness.
She was born on February 28, 1912, in Madison County, IN to Fred and Pearl (Jarrett) Haas.
She was the owner and operator of Maxine's Beauty Shop in Lapel for 57 years making it the oldest business in Lapel. She also had Remember Us For Antiques shop in her home.
She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel, the Nameless Bridge Club, and she was an avid bowler.
She is survived by two sons, Fred (wife, Linda) Busby, and Royce (wife, Julie) Busby both of Anderson; a step-son, Don (wife, Melanie) Curnutt of Richmond; eleven grandchildren, Rick (wife, Darla) Busby, Shawn (wife, Jill) Busby, Kathleen (husband, Jeff) Singer, Ronald (wife, Amy) Busby, Royce (wife, Amber) Busby, Jama (husband, Brian) Brown, Andrea (husband, Andy) Dudas, Elise (husband, Lew) Hansel, Tammy (husband, Everett) Crose, Edwin (wife, Rita) Drews, and Shannon (husband, Mark) Clough; and eighteen great grandchildren, Randy Matthews, Shane Singer, Kelsie, Ryan, and Wesley Busby, Nathan, Nicholas and Adam Busby, Alex, Austin, and Adam Busby, Seth Busby, Benjamin and Savannah Crose, Lindsay Drews, Travis and Branden Brown, Ali Clough, Hayden and Madison Brown, and Gracie and Madison Dudas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Curnutt in 1969.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Burial will be at the Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton.

Mary L. McClasky
Mary L. McClasky, 72, Anderson, passed away Monday, August 23, 2004, at Manor Care Health Services in Anderson following and extended illness.
She was born on January 19, 1932, in Anderson, Indiana the daughter of William and Leona (Breeck) Reynolds.
She was former member of the Muncie Kennel Club, and she and her husband had a kennel and raised giant Schnausers.
She is survived by two daughters, Marlene (husband, James) Barnard of Elwood, and Teri (husband, David) McConnell of Anderson; a daughter-in-law, Nancy McClasky of Anderson; six grandchildren, Kelly (husband, Eddie) Rich, Carla Ellsworth, Kristen Barnard, Devin McClasky, Heather McConnell, and Chelsea McConnell; and three great-grandchildren, Dale Rich, Brittanie McClasky, and Peyton Ellsworth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, B. Russell McClasky; two sons, Russell Wayne McClasky, and Marty McClasky; and a grandson, Russell Martin McClasky.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at Brookside Cemetery
in Lapel, with Rev. Dennis Zirkle officiating.
Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.

Marion A. Myers
Marion A. Myers, 86, Lapel, passed away Monday, January 26, 2004, at Saint John's Health System Anderson following an extended illness.
He was born on January 23, 1918, in Anderson, IN to Earle and Margaret (Simmermon) Myers.
He was a 1935 Lapel High School graduate and he received a B. S. from Purdue University in 1939 and had received the Distinguished Purdue Ag Alumni award.
He was a farmer and he retired in 1993 from Myers Insurance and Real Estate which he founded in 1956.
He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel, and was a charter member of the Lapel Lions Club. He was a 50 year member of the Lapel Masonic Lodge No. 625 and was a member of the Murat Temple Shrine. He had served on the board of directors of the former State Bank of Lapel and Citizens Bank and was a member of the Anderson Country Club.
He is survived by his wife whom he married on June 18, 1941, Helen (Willits) Myers; two sons, Bob (wife, Kitty) Myers of Lapel, and Jim (wife, Cherie) Myers of Lapel; four granddaughters, Betsy (husband, Jim) Taylor, Julie (husband, Greg) Moster, Jennifer (husband, Sean) Connolly, and Amy Myers, and two great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Myers; and a sister, Margery Woodward.
Services will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel, with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery
in Lapel.

Marilyn F. Shaw
Marilyn F. Shaw, 79, Lapel, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2006, at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville following an extended illness.
She was born on September 22, 1927, in Lapel, Indiana to Willis and Audrey (Cupp) Foust.
Marilyn taught Home Economics at the former Markleville High School and was their 4-H sponsor. Later in her work career she was a substitute teacher at Lapel School and finally she was the branch manager of the Lapel Library.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the former Lapel Order of Eastern Star Chapter 457.
She is survived by three children, Mike (wife, Denise) Shaw of Indiana, PA, LeighAnn (husband, Joe) Crane of Lapel, and Melanie Johnson of Lapel; and six grandchilden, Heather Shaw, Ben Johnson, Rob Crane, Audrey Johnson, Michaela Shaw, and Brandon Shaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George Shaw.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Mark Helm officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery
in Lapel.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel where a Order of Eastern Star memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 PM by the Anderson Order of Eastern Star.

Margie R. Humphrey
Margie R. Humphrey, 87, Anderson, passed away Monday, August 2, 2004, at Rawlins House in Pendleton following a brief illness.
She was born on January 12, 1917, in Clinton County, Indiana to Walter and Ruby (Earlywine) Henderson.
She attended Bethel United Methodist Church and had been a resident of Longfellow Plaza for the last 15 years.
She is survived by one son, Jim (wife, Joyce) Humphrey of Anderson; one sister, Norma Lay of St. James City, FL; two grandchildren, Susan (husband, Larry) Downey of Pendleton, and Dennis (wife, Tracy) Humphrey of Pendleton; five great grandchildren, Amanda Downey, Austin Downey, Megan Humphrey, Ian Humphrey, and Zachary Humphrey.
She was preceded in death by her husband James L. Humphrey in 1985; a son, John Humphrey; and a grandson, David Humphrey.
Services will be held at 1:30 PM Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Brian Bays officiating. Burial will be at the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mallory Eliza Jones
Mallory Eliza Jones, 2 1/2 months, Anderson, the littlest angel, flew home to heaven Saturday, September 30, 2006, at Community Hospital of Anderson after a sudden illness.
She was born on July 9, 2006, in Indianapolis.
She is survived and will be greatly missed by her mother, Kelly Jones of Anderson; father, Jeremiah Jones of Lapel; maternal grandparents, Anita Byrd of Anderson, and Richard Fulkrod, Sr. of Pendleton; paternal grandparents, Kim (husband, Dan) Myers of Groton, CT, and Kurt Jones of Lapel; maternal great-grandmother, Dorie Roberts of Ohio; paternal great-grandparents, Jerry and Phyllis Hiatt of Lapel, and Jean Jones of Indianapolis; other maternal family members including, Mark, Peggy, Miranda, and Jerzee Baugher; Ryan Poole; Chad, Melissa, and Hadleigh Hancock; Jim and Lisa Martino; Rachel, Uriah, and Isaac Whetzell; Penny Savory; Rick, Sara, and Jacob Eckstein; Russell, Samantha, and RJ Baugher; Jesse Byrd; Nathan Stump; Richard Jr., Robyn, Scott, and Brian Fulkrod; Bill, Nikki, Daniel, and Kyle Oliver; Robert, Mary Beth, Robby, and Stephanie Fulkrod; other paternal family members including, Kent, Jessica, and Mason Hiatt; Ryan and Kylie Brooks; Mark and Bobi Jones; Mike Nicholson; Kyle, Jennifer, and Gabe Jones; Torey Scherer; James Jones; and Chris Jones; family friends including, Alonzo and Nick Walker; Betty Rumler and many others.
Mallory was preceded in death by Beulah Manis; Joe and Georgia Clymer; Russell Baugher, Jr.; Mary and Craig Baugher; and Anastasia Jones.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
