Nancy Marie Downey Fry

Nancy Marie Downey Fry, 45, of Royal Center, died Sunday, Feb. 10, at 5:45 p.m. at her residence.
She was born Jan. 14, 1957, to Homer and Alvina Weaver Downey, in Winamac. She was married May 21, 1977, to Terry L. Fry in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pulaski. He survives.
She was a 1975 graduate of Pioneer High School.
She was first deputy in the Cass County Auditor's Office and a former Pioneer Grade School Aid.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Pulaski.
She was a member of the Cass County Republican Women's Club.
She liked to do needlepoint and enjoyed reading.
Other survivors include sons, Dustin Fry of Muncie and Neal Fry, at home; daughter, Nichole Fry; at home; sisters, Judy Hunt of Monticello, Mari1yn Boardman of Star City an4 Annette Shaffer of Burnettsville; brothers, Larry Downey of Burnettsville, Steve Downey of Monticello and David Downey of Idaville; and her mother Alvina Downey of Buffalo.
Her father and a sister are deceased.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8:30 p.m., at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Royal Center, with rosary to begin at 8:30 p.m., Wednesday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pulaski, with the Rev. Ronald J. Schiml officiating.
Final disposition will be private.
Memorials may be given to the Pulaski County Cancer Society.
Ashley Anna Kay Fuller
March 25, 1995 - May 5, 1995
Ashley Anna Kay Fuller, 6 weeks, died Friday morning, May 5, at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, where she had been a patient since birth.
She was born March 25, 1995 in Fort Irwin Hospital to Major Anthony and Shelly Stokes Fuller. They both live in Fort Irwin.
Surviving with her parents are her maternal grandparents, Larry and Sharon Stokes of Brookston; her paternal grandparents, Richard and Anna Fuller of York, PA; her great-grandparents, Dwight (Tiny) and Glenna Stokes of Sebring, EL, and John Papesh of Holiday, FL.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, the Rev. Lelan McReynolds officiated.
Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Brookston.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
Maxine Graves Fuller
May 25, 1917 - February 5, 2000
Maxine Graves Fuller, 82, of Encinitas, California, a former Chalmers resident, died Saturday, Feb. 5, at Manor Care in Encinitas.
She was born May 25, 1917, to Jesse and Mildred McCullough Graves, in Crawfordsville. She was married April 25, 1947, to Maurice Fuller, and he died Dec. 31, 1961. She then married Lester R. Fuller in 1972 and he died Jan. 8, 1988.
She was a homemaker and had moved from Chalmers to California in 1991.
She was a member of the Union United Methodist Church, St. Louis, Missouri.
She is survived by sons, Roger Fuller, Lafayette and Richard Fuller, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Calif.; a stepson, David Fuller, St. Louis, Mo.; sisters, Helen Alfrey, Syracuse and Virginia Branagan, Crawfordsville; five grandchildren and a great granddaughter. A brother is deceased.
Funeral services were Thursday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with the Rev. Gerald Stevens officiating.
Burial was in Chalmers Community Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
Florence E. Gagnon
January 15, 1918 - April 13, 2000
Florence E. Hendrickson Gagnon, 82, of Brookston, died Thursday, April 13, 2000 at Home Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born in Brookston on Jan. 15, 1918 to Henry and Bertha Bartlett Hendrickson. She married George Gagnon on Jan. 28, 1939 in Lafayette. He died March 14, 1996.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Brookston Federated Church and the Church Social Committee.
She was a member of Ruth Circle and Prairie Home Demonstration Club.
She is survived by sons, Edwin Gagnon of Indianapolis and Michael (Gale) Gagnon of St. Charles, MO; daughter-in-law, Barbara Gagnon of Brookston, brother, Bill Hendrickson of Decatur, Mich.; sister, Anna Mae Aldridge of Elwood; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A son, David Gagnon, and brothers Al and Carl Hendrickson are deceased.
Funeral service was Saturday at Hartzler Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Lelan McReynolds officiating. Burial was in IOOF Cemetery
in Brookston.

Ralph C. Gallinger
February 10, 1901 - December 11, 1988
Ralph C. Gallinger, 87, R.5, Monticello, died Sunday, Dec. 11 at 7:04 p.m. in Monticello Healthcare Center. He had been a resident there since Oct. 9,1987.
He was born Feb. 10, 1901 in Wolcott, to Charles B. and Mary F. Clark Gallinger. He was married to Mearl Gibbons, Sept. 12 1934. She died Feb. 2,1973.
Mr. Gallinger lived on a farm in the Monticello community all of his life and had lived on the same farm since 1935.
He was a member of Yeoman United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Gerald and Larry K. Gallinger, both of R.5, Monticello; and two sisters, Lucille Neal, Chalmers and Delma Lytle, R.2, Monticello.
Also surviving are three grand children, two great grandchildren. Twin son and daughter and two brothers are deceased.
Service was Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home, Monticello, with the Rev Bruce E. Lowery officiating.
Burial was in Yeoman Cemetery.
Phyllis J. Gano
July 24, 1921 - October 10, 1998
Phyllis J. Gano, 77, Monon, died Saturday, Oct. 10, in Jasper Co. Memorial Hospital, Rensselaer. She had been ill for four months.
She was born July 24, 1921, to Earl Karr and Ruth Carnie Winkley, in Monon, and graduated from Monon High School in 1939, and was a lifelong resident.
She was married June 24, 1943, to Russell G. Gano, in Monon.
Mrs. Gano and her husband owned and operated Monon Tavern Inc. for 10 years. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1996.
She was a member of Monon United Methodist Church and Eastern Star Lodge 171 in Wolcott. She was a sponsor for a Monon Little League baseball team
Survivors include a son, Phillip L. Gano, Porter, Ind.; a daughter, Joyce A. Doyle, Monon; a brother, John W. Winkley, Los Angeles; and a sister, Mary Dekkard, Hobart. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter.
Memorial service will be Thursday at Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon, at '7 p.m., with Rev. William Kehlhofer officiating.
Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Monticello at a later date.
Memorials may be given to Monon United Methodist Church, or Monon Little League.
Luis F. Garcia Villegas
April 21, 1988 - December 13, 1999
Luis Fernando Garcia Villegas, 11, Monon, died unexpectedly Monday, Dec. 13, at 1:32 p.m. at White County Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 21, 1988, to Filiberto Fernando Garcia and Juanita P. Garcia Villegas, in Marion. He was a fourth grader in the Monon Elementary School.
He had lived for seven years in Monon, after moving from Marion.
Surviving with his parents are a brother, Miguel A. Villegas at home; three sisters, Amanda Nicole Garcia, Brittney Marie Garcia and Erika Maria Villegas, all at home. Also maternal grandparents, Fred and Maria Guiterez of Mission, Texas and paternal grandparents, Jesus and Estella Villegas of Oaxaca, Mexico.
Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday, at Monon United Methodist Church, with the Rev. William Kehlhofer officiating. Visitation will be after 5 p.m., Thursday at the church in Monon.
Burial will be in Osborne Cemetery
near Lee.
Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon, is in charge of arrangements.
