Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 2 and prior to service on Thursday, February 3 at the funeral home.

Helen L. Barrow, 79, resident of Spencer, died Friday, January 28, 2005 at Bloomington Hospital. Services were conducted today, Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Bloomington. Rev. Bob Yount and Rev. Dane Sinn will officiated. Burial followed in Little Union cemetery.

Pauline Hurst, 95, resident of Greencastle, died Saturday, January 29, 2005 at Hickory Creek at Sunset in Greencastle. Services were conducted today, Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Rev. Malcolm R. Neier officiated. Interment followed in Cloverdale cemetery.

Candace K. “Candi” Freeman, 54, resident of Worthington, died Friday, January 28, 2005 at her residence. Services were conducted today, Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington Rev. Wes Hensley officiated. Burial followed in Worthington cemetery.

James Luther Mullen, 83, resident of Santa Ana, California, died January 24, 2005 at his residence. He was a member of Covenant Community Church in Orange, California, where a memorial service was held on Saturday, January 29, 2005. His final resting place is in Riverside National cemetery, California.

Larry Langley, 69, resident of Bloomington, died Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at Bloomington Hospital. Services were conducted today, Thursday, January 27, 2005 at Allen Funeral Home in Bloomington. Brad Polley officiated.

Dorothy M. Hardesty, 86, resident of Ellettsville, formerly of Bucktown and Linton, died Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Richland Bean Blossom Nursing Home in Ellettsville. Services will be conducted Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger. Rev. Rod Hardesty will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, January 28 and prior to services on Saturday, January 29 at the funeral home.

Selma L. Newby, 92, died Saturday, January 22, 2005 as a result of a traffic accident. Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, in Anderson. Rev. Bill Mathys and Maynard Powell officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Pilgrim’s Rest cemetery in Huntington.

Hulda R. Applegate, 101, of Logansport, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005 in WoodBridge Health Campus. Services were held Saturday, January 22 at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Green Lawn cemetery, Mexico.

Robert A. Fulk, 66, resident of Greencastle, died Friday, January, 21, 2004 at Putnam County Hospital. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements were provided by West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer.

Jack Yount, 49, resident of Cloverdale, died Sunday, January 23, 2005 at Cloverdale Convalescent & Rehab Center in Cloverdale. Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Pastor Wes McClure will officiate. Interment will be in Cloverdale cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 25 at the funeral home.

Jackie Dean “Jack” Freeman, 58, resident of Spencer, died Saturday, January 22, 2005 at Methodist Hospital due to complications from a work accident at Midway Farm and Feed on January 12. Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Spencer VFW and American Legion. Calling hours will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 25 and from 8:30-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 26 at the funeral home.

Delbert R. Chamness, 95, died Sunday, January 23, 2005. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at Cloverdale cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Nathan Butler Funeral Home, Worthington.

Kenneth E. Sims, 65, resident of Clayton, died Thursday, January 20, 2005 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Services were held earlier today, Monday, January 24, 2005 at at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Chaplain Ben F. Keckler officiated. Interment followed in Cloverdale cemetery.

Charles D. Whitaker, 85, resident of Cloverdale, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at his residence. Services will be conducted Monday, March 7, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Rev. Jeff Reed and Bro. Lowell Barr will officiate. Interment will be in Cloverdale cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, March 6 at the funeral home. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 6 at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Violet J. McKamey, 78, resident of Avon, died Monday, February 28, 2005 at her residence. Services will be conducted Friday, March 4, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Interment will be in Cloverdale cemetery. Calling hours will be from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Friday, March 4 at the funeral home.

Frank L. Osborn Jr., 79, resident of Spencer, died Friday, February 25, 2005 at Owen Valley Health Campus. Services were conducted earlier today, Monday, February 28, 2005 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home. Bro. Charles Evans officiated. Burial was to follow at 2 p.m. in Crown Hill cemetery in Indianapolis.

Herman Charles Lunsford, 84, resident of Martinsville, died Friday, February 25, 2005 in Martinsville. Private services will be held. Arrangements were provided by Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale.

Dorothy B. Haltom, 95, resident of Cloverdale, died Sunday, February 27, 2005 at Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. Services will be conducted Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Interment will be in Cloverdale cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 1 at the funeral home.

Marilyn Sue (Pottorff) Weidert, 69, died Saturday, February 26, 2005 at E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, Florida. Interment will be at Evergreen cemetery in Gainesville, Florida with a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements were provided by Milam Funeral Home in Gainesville, Florida.

Oren Hahn, 72, resident of Spencer, died Sunday, February 27, 2005 at Bloomington Hospital. Service will be conducted Friday, March 4, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Pastor Diane Wells will officiate. Military service by Spencer VFW and American Legion. Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 3 at the funeral home.

Evelyn Jane Cline, 84, resident of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Poland, died Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at Alterra Sterling House in Mesa, Arizona. Services will be conducted Thursday, March 3, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Rev. Myron Welty will officiate. Interment will be in Poland Chapel cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 2 at the funeral home.

Enola J. Cassell, 73, resident of Cloverdale, formerly of Apple Valley, California, died Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at her residence. Services will be conducted Monday, February 28, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home in Greencastle. Pastor Wes McClure will officiate. Burial will be in Combs cemetery at Quincy. Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, February 27 at the funeral home.

Oscar Ashley, 93, resident of The Residence at McCormick’s Creek, and longtime resident of Paragon, died Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Bloomington Hospital. Services will be conducted Monday, February 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Neal & Summers Mortuary. Rev. Tom Scott will officiate. Burial will be at Greenlawn cemetery in Franklin. Calling hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, February 27 and one hour prior to service Monday, February 28 at the funeral home.

Teresa A. Brammann-Johnson, 52, resident of Indianapolis, died Friday, February 18, 2005. A memorial service was held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3145 Walker Avenue, Indianapolis. Arrangements were provided by Shirley Bros. Mortuary in Indianapolis.

Velma I. Richard, 84, resident of Paragon, died Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Morgan Hospital and Medical Center. Services will be conducted Monday, February 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Olive Christian Church in Paragon. Rev. Charles Tinsley, Rev. Jody England and Rev. Tom Scott will officiate. Burial will be at Olive Christian Church cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, February 27 at Costin Funeral Chapel, Inc. in Martinsville and from 10-11 a.m. Monday, February 28 at the church.

Lenora R. Arthur, 79, resident of Spencer, died Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at Bloomington Hospital. Rose Marie (Perri) Fulton, 70, resident of Bloomington, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at Bloomington Hospital. Services will be conducted Friday, February 25, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel. Rev. Ben Colburn will officiate. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.

Grace Elizabeth Allison, 82, resident of Cloverdale, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at Cloverdale Convalescent & Rehab Center. Services were conducted Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Rev. Marcus Dodrill officiated. Interment was at Sugar Grove Union cemetery in Toronto, Ohio.

Joseph Eugene Clossey, 71, resident of Plainfield, died Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Services were conducted today, Monday, November 28, 2005 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Alan Farmer officiated. Burial was in Washington Park East in Indianapolis.

Imogene Uhl, 85, resident of Terre Haute, died Friday, November 18, 2005 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Prayers began at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2005 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home in Terre Haute, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church with Father Rick Ginther officiating. Burial was in Calvary cemetery.

Hazel B. Ross Lane, 72, resident of Brazil, died Tuesday, November 22 at St. Vincent Hospital. She had been battling cancer since May. Graveside services were held Saturday, November 26, 2005 at Clearview cemetery. Rev. Myron James officiated.

Timothy Paul Manning, 42, resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at the University of New Mexico Hospital. Graveside services were conducted today, Monday, November 28, 2005 at Riverside cemetery in Spencer. Rev. Jim Langley officiated. Arrangements were provided by West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer.

Services were conducted Friday, November 25, 2005 at Neal & Summers Mortuary in Martinsville. Burial followed at Mount Zion Separate Baptist cemetery in Morgantown.

Floyd K. Miller, 75, resident of Terre Haute, died Thursday, November 17, 2005 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Services will be conducted Monday, November 21, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Maplewood Christian Church in Terre Haute. Mark Miller will officiate. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Military graveside rites will be observed. Calling hours will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, November 20 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, and from 10 a.m. until time of services Monday, November 21 at the church.

Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
