Marguerite E. Butler, age 89 of Mooresville, Indiana died August 31, 2004 at her home of natural causes. She was born January 19, 1915 in Hamilton County, Indiana to the late William Taylor & Maude Ross Butler.

She retired in 1974 after 27 years as a senior payroll clerk for Delco-Remy in Anderson, Indiana. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Mooresville, Indiana. She was also preceded in death by a brother Robert R. Butler; and sisters Myrna E. McKinsey & Grace G. Butler.

Survivors include her sister Josepha Butler of Mooresville, Indiana and 6 nieces and nephews.

Calling: None. Memorial Mass will be conducted by Father Rick Eldred at 10 A.M., Thursday, September 9, 2004 in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Mooresville, Indiana. A private entombment of the cremated remains will take place at a later date in Maple Hill cemetery, Plainfield, Indiana.

Hazel Willhoite Brock

Hazel Willhoite Brock, age 89 of Mooresville, Indiana, died August 17, 2004 in Hendricks Regional Health, Danville, Indiana. She was born April 26, 1915 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Lemuel Harvey & Effie Belle Davis Willhoite.

She was preceded in death on December 6, 2003 by her husband of 71 1/2 years, Ernest Edward Brock whom she married in 1932. She was a homemaker most of her life and was a member of Sugar Grove Homemakers Club. She was also preceded in death by son Delbert R. Brock; step-son Kenneth E. Brock and brothers Homer Orville & John Willhoite.

Survivors include her son Robert L. Brock of Mooresville, Indiana; daughters Norma J. Allen of Mooresville, Indiana and Dianna Sue Hines of North Salem, Indiana; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, August 19, 2004 from 4-8 P.M. in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, Indiana. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Steve White at 10 A.M., Friday, August 20, 2004 in the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Hall, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Belleville Bible Church, 5676 S CR 200 E, Clayton, IN 46118.

Jesse Gene Freeman, Jr.

Jesse Gene Freeman, Jr., age 42 of Mooresville, Indiana, died August 14, 2004 in Mooresville, Indiana. He was born January 9, 1962 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was a sheet metal worker for 15 years for Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 20. Currently he was working for Poynter Sheet Metal in Bloomington, Indiana. He was a member of the Mooresville Masonic Lodge #78, Mooresville Order of the Eastern Star #260 and Mooresville VFW Post #1111. He was preceded in death by grandparents: Tom & Dessie Medsker Hicks.

Survivors include wife Amanda Lee Mickelson Freeman (Married June 9, 1990) of Mooresville, Indiana; son Jesse Gene Freeman, III of Mooresville, Indiana; step-sons Ryan Lee (Lisa) Main of Mooresville, Indiana and Randall P. (Patty) Main of New Bern, North Carolina; daughter Sarah Nicole Freeman of Mooresville, Indiana; step-daughter Michelle S. (Matt) Ruhnow of Fishers, Indiana; sister Jessica R. Freeman-Boyden of Mooresville, Indiana; father & step-mother Jessie Jean & Donna R. Helton Freeman, Sr. of Mooresville, Indiana; mother Donna S. Hicks Allen of Mooresville, Indiana; grandparents Curtis Harold & Vivian Marie Gilbert Freeman of Mooresville, Indiana; step-grandmother Wilma L. Gibbs Poe Hicks of Mooresville, Indiana and 4 grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, August 17, 2004 from 3-8 P.M. in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, Indiana. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Don Endsley at 10 A.M., Wednesday, August 18, 2004 in the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in White Lick cemetery, Mooresville, Indiana. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Indiana Masonic Home Foundation, Inc., P. O. Box 44210, Indianapolis, IN 46244-0210.

Walter L. Johnson
2004-08-14
Walter L. Johnson, age 76 of Mooresville, Indiana died August 14, 2004. He was born April 13, 1928 in Menominee, Wisconsin to the late Amron & Mary Johnson.

He retired in 1992 after 12 years as a Parkinig lot Attendant for the University of the Pacific Hospital in San Francisco, California.

Survivors include his son Ward Johnson of Walnut Creek, California and Dr. Diane Johnson of Mooresville, Indiana and 5 grandchildren.

Calling: NONE. The body is to be cremated. Memorial contributions may be made to the choice of the donor.

Kelsie Deckard
2004-08-05
Kelsie Deckard age 90 of Mooresville, Indiana died August 5, 2004 in Harborside Healthcare Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born June 9, 1914 in Smithville, Indiana to the late Jasper & Dottie Blackwell Sipes Deckard.

He retired in 1975 after 25 years as a Bus Driver for Grey Hound Bus Lines in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a WW II Army Veteran and the widower of Dollie Elaine Landon Deckard.

Survivors include his daughter Kelly A. Deckard of Martinsville, Indiana; son Steve R. Deckard of Texas; step-son Mark Nimtz of Mooresville, Indiana; sisters Lorene White & Geneva DeFord both of Bloomington, Indiana and 5 grandchildren.

Calling: None. Graveside Services & Burial will be Monday, August 9, 2004 at 11 A.M. in Mooresville cemetery, Mooresville, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 9135 N. Meridian St., Suite B-4, Indianapolis, IN 46209.

Virginia Marilyn Miller

Virginia Marilyn Copens Wright-Miller, age 75 of Indianapolis, Indiana, died May 17, 2004 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born December 23, 1928 in Vanceburg, Kentucky to the late Hollis & Rebecca Ella Horsley Copens.

She retired in 1988 after 14 years as a Machine, Bench & Floor Inspector for Allison Gas Turbine, Indianapolis, Indiana.

Survivors include her sons Dennis L. Wright, Richard R. Wright & David A. Wright of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughter Claudette S. Hankins of Mooresville, Indiana; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Calling is Wednesday, May 19, 2004 from 10 A.M. to Noon in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, Indiana. Graveside services and burial will be at 12:30 P.M., Wednesday, May 19, 2004 in White Lick cemetery. Rev. David Hestand will officiate. Bessie Mae Parsons

Bessie Mae Parsons, age 74 of Monrovia, Indiana, died April 16, 2004 in Community Hospital South, Indianapolis. She was born March 2, 1930 in Pennington Gap, Virginia to the late Joseph & Josie Clark Pugh.

She retired in 1992 after 9 years as an assembler for Harmon Motive, Martinsville, Indiana. She was a member of Willow Grove Church of the Nazarene and was the widow of Elmer L. Parsons, Sr.

Survivors include her sons Jack P. Parsons, Jimmy L. Parsons, Elmer L. Parsons, Jr., Arthur Parsons, Tommy E. Parsons & Kenneth R. Parsons; daughters Teresa J. Wilson and Betty J. Ford; brothers Clyde Pugh, Steve Pugh and Paul Pugh; sisters Susie Pugh and Georgie Pugh; 21 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Sunday, April 18, 2004 from 5-8 P.M. in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, Indiana. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Don Richards at 2 P.M., Monday, April 19, 2004 in the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in Shumaker cemetery, Eminence, Indiana.

Bernice Lucille Ormandy

Bernice Lucille McClellan Ormandy, age 96 of Monrovia, Indiana, died April 17, 2004 in Lakeview Manor, Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born October 26, 1907 in Morgan County, Indiana to the late William & Susie Caroline Hollingsworth McClellan.

She was a homemaker most of her life and attended Plainfield Christian Church. She was the widow of John William Ormandy whom she married June 5, 1932 and who passed away July 30, 2002. She was also preceded in death by two sisters Hazel McCollom and Lena McClellan.

Survivors include her daughters Marilyn D. Brown of Monrovia, Indiana and Becky J. Rowan of Mooresville, Indiana; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Callins is Tuesday, April 20, 2004 from 5-8 p.m. in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, Indiana. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Jimmy Johnson at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2004 in the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in Stilesville cemetery, Stilesville, Indiana. Minnie Iona Willey

Minnie Iona Morrison Willey, age 85 of Mooresville, Indiana, died April 18, 2004 in Community Hospital South, Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born September 4, 1918 in Bartholomew County, Indiana to the late Orville Jackson Morrison and Jessie Boaz Hubbard.

She was a homemaker and widow of Raymond Russell Willey. She was also preceded in death by a son Jack N. Willey.

Survivors include a son Ronald L. Willey of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughter Sheila M. Ballenger of Mooresville, Indiana; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
