Fonda Lee (Day) Asher, age 58 passed away peacefully Fridaymorning, February 22, 2013 at her home in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a former resident of Indianapolis.
Fonda was born August 28, 1954 in Indianapolis to her parents, Harold H. & Joanne (McAllister) Day. She was a 1973 graduate of Brown County High School and went on to marry John H. Asher on March 25, 1994 in Indianapolis. He survives after seventeen loving years.
Also surviving is her mother: Joanne Day of Brown County; three children: Leah (Mark) Hassertt, Marcus & Patrick Edinger all of Cincinnati, OH. She will be remembered by her siblings: Denise (Boyce) Baldwin of Fountain Hills, AZ, Cindy Zimmerman of Samaria, Steve (Lisa) Day of Helmsburg, Jamie (Tanya) Day of Martinsville and Chris Day of Indianapolis; two grandchildren:Darion & Ayden Hassertt.
She was preceded in death by her father and a nephew: Chet Zimmerman.
Fonda was a loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching movies, collecting tea pots, fishing and playing video games with her children. Fonda was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts with Peyton Manning being her favorite NFL player.
Pastor Dave Vaughn will conduct a funeral service at 1 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery in Morgantown.

Harry T. Ashman

Service Date: The Rev. Burt Brock will conduct a funeral service at 10:00 am Saturday at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm on Friday at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will be conducted by the Morgantown Masonic Lodge at 7:30 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
Harry T. Ashman, age 91, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, April 2, 2013 at his residence in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin and a former resident of Morgantown. By his side was his loving wife of 70 years, Mary Louise (Gullion) Ashman whom he married on September 19, 1942 in Indianapolis.
Harry was born in Windfall, IN on May 20, 1921 to the late Robert and Maude B. (Vest) Ashman. Harry was a 1939 graduate of Hagerstown High School and went on to graduate summa cum laude from Butler University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business in 1943. He retired in 1983 after 41 years of service with Eli Lilly & Co. During his 41 years her worked as a Computer System Analysts and was the Supervisor of the Records Department.
Harry was a 50 year member of the Morgantown First Christian Church where he served as an elder, former Sunday School Teacher and Finance Director. He also was a 50 year member of the Morgantown Masonic Lodge #358 where he served as Past Master and Chaplin. Harry was a past President and Regional Director for the Data Processing Management Association and was recognized as a Kentucky Colonel. He was an active member of the Nineveh Senior Center where he held the position of Treasurer for several years. Harry was also a former Board member of the Nineveh-Hensley-Jackson School Corporation for two terms, former board member of Central Nine in Greenwood and was a former board member of the Holdings Corporation for the building of Indian Creek Schools.
Harry is survived by three daughters: Rebecca (Richard) Soendlin of Indianapolis, Tina (Richard) Massey & Libby (Robert) Torrance both of Franklin; one son: Kenneth M. (Barbara) Ashman of Naples, FL; one brother: Robert Ashman of Indianapolis; 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Margaret Haggard & Hazel Beach; and five brothers: Richard, Charles, George, Donald & Kenneth Ashman.

Ralph E. Tomson
Ralph E. Tomson, 83, of Ellettsville went to be with his Lord on Monday, September 12, 2011 at IU Health-Bloomington Hospital.
Ralph was born in Vincennes on May 14, 1928 to Ralph H. and Nettie Lyle (Soden) Tomson. Ralph married Barbara Bond on December 27, 1953. Ralph proudly served in the Korean War in the U.S. Army and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was ordained at the Petersburg Gospel Center in August of 1952 and spent 59 years as an Independent Fundamental Baptist Minister planting churches and assisting small struggling churches throughout the country. He traveled overseas speaking in the Philippines and ministered to many in the 59 years he was in the Lords service.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Barbara Tomson; daughter, Susan Mann; son, Tim Tomson; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four sisters, and one brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, David Tomson (4/11); one grandchild, and twelve siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Temple on Smith Road withReverend Doug Thompson and Reverend Lyman Taylor officiating. Burial is to follow at Old Dutch cemetery. Friends may call upon the family at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

Mildred J. "Millie" (Kunst) McFadden

Service Date: The Rev. James Brown will conduct a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Meredith – Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bear Creek cemetery in Brown County.
Mildred "Millie" J. (Kunst) McFadden, age 82, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Lake Wales, Florida and a former resident of both Indianapolis and Nashville, Indiana.
Millie was born on December 2, 1933, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Victor and Mildred (Hudnet) Kunst. She was a 1950 graduate of Western High School in Baltimore, Maryland and went on to marry Rodney A. McFadden on August 24, 1954 in Baltimore, MD. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2004 after 49 loving years of marriage.
She retired in 1990 as a secretary for Rock Island Refinery in Indianapolis. Millie was a member of the Bean Blossom Baptist Church in Brown County. She enjoyed being active in Keenagers through her church in Florida as well as organizing activities in her Lake Wales community. Millie also enjoyed needlework, quilting and spending time with her family.
Millie is survived by a daughter, Jennifer K. (John) Kahrs of Zionsville; daughter-in-law, Pam McFadden of Lebanon; grandchildren, Dustin Long, Zachary (Dawn) Aiduks, Christin McFadden; great-grandchildren, Julian, Bella, Owen and Ivan.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Victor William Kunst of Columbia, Maryland on April 24, 2011 and a son, Christopher K. McFadden of Lebanon, IN on April 30, 2008.
The Rev. James Brown will conduct a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Meredith - Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Mary E. (Antrim) Mayo

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Mary E. (Antrim) Mayo, age 87 passed away peacefully on Monday evening, January 4, 2016 at Morning Pointe of Franklin. She was a resident of Whiteland.
Mary was born in Indianapolis on June 29, 1928, to the late Clarence O. and Hilda (Shotts) Antrim. She married Raymond E. Mayo on January 16, 1955 in Indianapolis. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2002, after 47 loving years of marriage.
She was a loving homemaker and worked as a cook during the 1970's and 80's at the Grove Restaurant in Beech Grove. Mary also enjoyed working on the Mayo family farm at Red's Corner in Johnson County.
She will be remembered for her love of family and her sense of humor. Mary enjoyed traveling, especially cruising and wintering in North Ft. Myers. Mary also enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting and collecting lighthouses and owls.
She is survived by her children: Charles Spall of Sarasota, FL, Terrell (Lisa) Spall of Franklin, Verna Hunter of Indianapolis and Kathy Wilder of Greenwood; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by siblings, Jean Denny, Clarence "Tom" Antrim Jr. and William H. Antrim.

Anne K. (Winter) Trankle

Jefferson St. in Franklin. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Tuesday. Funeral services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
Anne K. (Winter) Trankle, age 97 passed away Friday morning, January 1, 2016 at the Franklin United Methodist Community. She was a resident of Franklin.
Anne was born October 11, 1918, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Angus and Mabel (Kriebel) Winter. She was raised in Maplewood, New Jersey and graduated in 1936 from Columbia High School. Anne went on to become a proud graduate of Penn State University, earning a degree in Bacteriology in 1940.
Anne served as a Pharmacist's Mate First Class during World War II, serving in the WAVES of the United States Navy at the Brooklyn Navy Yard Hospital. While there, she met Robert Trankle of Rapid City, South Dakota, who was also serving in the U.S. Navy. They were married in Rapid City on October 25, 1946. As Robert completed his education, they lived in Vermillion, South Dakota, Omaha, Nebraska and Iowa City, Iowa. They have been residents of Franklin since 1963.
Anne worked as a lab technician at Atterbury Job Corps and at the office of Dr. Hugh Andrews. She also worked as a med-tech at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin.
Anne was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Franklin and active in the AAUW. She enjoyed volunteering at the Johnson County Museum of History and also taught children how to knit at the Franklin Girls Club.
Anne is survived by her husband, Robert Trankle of Franklin; three daughters: Elizabeth (Keith) Mardis of Springfield, MO; Janet (Bill) Phillips of Mitchell and Nancy (Bill) Kirklin of Franklin; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters and their husbands: Irma (Hank) McCall of West Palm Beach, FL and Mary Janet (Paul) Damon of Tucson, AZ.

Anthony Dilcher

Anthony Dingo Dilcher, 19, of Cloverdale passed away at his residence on Sunday, February 6, 2011.
He was born in Indianapolis on August 23, 1991 into the home of Louis W. Dilcher and Karen Kerzan-Dilcher. Anthony graduated from Cloverdale High School in 2010 where he was a member of the football team in his freshman, sophomore, and junior year. He worked at McDonalds in Cloverdale. His love of music led him to play many different instruments and become a member of the band, Naked N November. One of the highlights of being a member of the band was that he was able to perform during the senior prom. He helped to spread the word of the Lord serving as a youth minister at the Lighthouse Tabernacle in Gosport. When he was younger, Anthony also attended Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Indianapolis. He was a big guy with a big heart and a soft voice. He enjoyed the simpler things in life and never spoke an unkind word about anyone, saying nothing but good. He was always there to assist others in need. Anthony attended camp at Camp Beacon where eventually he volunteered as a camp counselor. Anthony will sadly be missed by his family, friends, and the community.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Dilcher, Sr.; great-grandmother, Jaynelle Dilcher, and great-grandfather, Paul V. Kerzan.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Karen Kerzan-Dilcher and her fianc, Bryan of Cloverdale; father, Louis W. Dilcher and his companion, Theresa Higgenbotham of Bowling Green, IN; sister, Savanna Dilcher; step-sisters, Harleigh and Baileah Hayden; grandparents, Stephen Kerzan (Cheryl) of Mt. Vernon, IN, Ava Branam (Richard Joe) of Cloverdale and Ellen Dilcher of Indianapolis; great-grandparents, Sue Kerzan of Vincennes and Fred Essary (Sue) of Mt. Vernon, IN; girlfriend, Trisha Kay-Cummings of Cloverdale; aunts and uncles, Ryan Joseph Kerzan (Janie) of Columbia, SC, Anthony Stephen Kerzan (Auleen) of Clayton, IN, Melisa Branam-Figg of Cloverdale, Brian Branam of Waverly, IN, George Dilcher, Jr of Indianapolis, John Dilcher (Dawn) of Bradenton, FL, Kimberly Perkins (Rob) of Indianapolis, Daniel Hammy Inlow of Cloverdale, Steven Inlow of CO, and Cayce and Courtny Gibbs of Indianapolis; cousins, Ella Rain-Kerzan, Madison Figg, Parker Stevens, Robbie, Jason, and Brandy Perkins, Devon Denny, Aidyn Gibbs, Brynnon Clayton and Jahvon and Meah Gibbs; and several extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Lighthouse Tabernacle in Gosport on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother J.D. Temples II officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial is to be private at Cloverdale cemetery. Friends are invited to a luncheon following the services at Souls Harbor Church in Cloverdale. Chandler Funeral Home-Whitaker Chapel in Gosport is assisting with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Lighthouse Tabernacle PO BOX 68 Gosport, IN 47433 or the Music Department at Cloverdale Schools.

Mrs. R. Berniece Brackemyre
Mrs. R. Berniece Brackemyre, 88, of Seymour, passed away November 6, 2008 at 11:42 PM at Lutheran Community Home.
Mrs. Brackemyre was born in Sellersburg, IN, on February 17, 1920, the daughter of Norval and Myrtle (McCammon) Creamer. On November 11, 1937, in Seymour, she married Wilford M. Brackemyre. He preceded on July 13, 2005.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Seymour and ESA. She retired from the Indiana State Highway Department where she worked as an auditor. She was a member of Sagamore of the Wabash. She was very active in the Republican Party as she served as vice chairman for 8 years and held several officer positions with the March of Dimes, where she was President for several years.
She is survived by children; Richard 'Dick' Allen (Marjorie) Brackemyre, Daniel Joe (Jayne) Brackemyre, grandchildren, Lori Ann (Dan) Heiwig, Bryan Robert Brackemyre, Robert Allen Brackemyre, Debra Lynne Brackemyre, a great-granddaughter, Taylor Dawn Brackemyre, and a sister: Norma Armstrong
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son: Robert Nelson Brackemyre, two brothers: C. Gordon Creamer and L. Nelson Creamer and one sister: Wilma Davenport.
Services will be held at Voss Chapel on Monday, Nov 10th at 10:30 am with Rev. Roger Hilbert and Rev. Mike Seany officiating.
Burial will be at Riverview cemetery.
Friends may call from Voss Chapel on Sunday, Nov. 9th from 1 to 5 pm and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
Memorial checks may be written to Trinity Methodist Church.
