He was born February 16, 1931 in Madison County, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He lived in Anderson all of his life.
He retired from Chrysler.
He was a member of the Eagles in Anderson.
He is survived by his Wife whom he married March 3, 1978: Judy (Patterson) Wechsler. Five Children: Ruthy (Clement) & husband Brad Eastes of Anderson. Loretta & husband Joel Cross of Peoria, Arizona. James & wife Dawn Clement of Muncie. Tracy & wife Melissa Clement of Ohio. Tammy Wechsler of Pendleton. Gary & wife Linda Wechsler of Pendleton. Two Brothers: Bill & wife Karen Wechsler of Alexandria. Dan & wife Charlene Wechsler of Anderson. Two Sisters: Barbara Ramsey of Anderson. Judy & husband Larry Bledsoe of Black Water, Virginia. Fifteen Grandchildren: Kristina Kase, James Kase, Tiffany Holsapple, Mickel Fuller, Matthew Fuller, Casey Clement, Andrew Clement, Allison Clement, Adam Stanfield, C.J. Stanfield, Brad Stanfield, Justin Wechsler and Jessica Wechsler, Chasity Nevin, Dana Nevin. Several Nieces & Nephews including: Kelly Wechsler.
He was preceded by his Parents: John Harold & Mabel Wechsler
Services will be Thursday, April 24, 2003 at 10:00 AM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel. 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson, with Pastor John Lane officiating.
Burial will be in East Maplewood cemetery, Anderson .
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 PM Wednesday, April 23, 2003 at funeral home, south chapel and one hour prior to service on Thursday.

Anderson - Thomas E. Short, 71, Anderson, died June 7, 2003 at Community Hospital, Anderson after Extended Illness.
He was born July 4, 1931 in Brotherton, TN, and resided in Anderson most of his life.
He worked for Indiana Mills for the past 3 years. He retired from the Anderson City Transit in 1996 after 18 years of employment, and previously worked at Nicholson File from 1955-1973. He was a member of Linwood Christian Church.
He is survived by his Wife Jean Short of Anderson, 3 children Jeff T. Short Sr. (wife) Penny of Silver Lake, Tim Short (wife) Cheryl of Greenfield, and Tonia Lane (hus) Derek of Anderson. 3 Brothers James Robert Short Sr. (wife) Ruby of Anderson, Lonnie Short (wife) Barbara of Anderson, Jack E. Tucker Jr. of Rose Hill, SC. 4 Sisters Golda Mae Thompson (hus) Melvin of Chesterfield, Lena Pearl Lindsey (hus) Chuck of Muncie, Joyce Ann Patterson (hus) Buddy of Chesterfield, and Glenda Faye Gerrard (hus) Jim of Anderson. 13 Grandchildren Jeff T. Short II (wife) Latisha of Warsaw, Jerimiah Short of Anderson, Zeb L. Short (wife) Heather of Silver Lake, Joshua Short (wife) Jill of Yorktown, Cassy Cook (hus) Sam of Warsaw, Christy and Carrissa Sharp of Warsaw, Garrett Ogle of Greenfield, Devin Lane of Anderson, Justin Short of Greenfield, Jessica Short of Greenfield, Trevor Lane of Anderson, Sarah Lane of Anderson. 4 Great-Grandchildern and Mr. Short was expecting his 5th in July. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents Ila Mae (West) and George Haskel Short, 1 Brother Melvin Short and 1 Sister Brenda Short.
Services will be Wednesday June 11, 2003 at 2:30 PM, at Robert Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. John Ray officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, Anderson .
Visitation will be from 3-8 PM Tuesday June 10, 2003 at Robert Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Linwood Christian Church through the funeral home.

Dorothy M. Harrison

Anderson - Dorothy M. (Hallett) Harrison, 73, Anderson, died June 13, 2003 at St. Johns Health System, unexpectedly.
She was born August 18, 1929 in Alquina, Indiana, and lived most of her life in this area
She was a school teacher in Bedford and Indianapolis before working for her husband in his dental office. After his retirement, she had worked for Dr. Mark Pefley.
She received her Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University and a Master's Degree from Butler University.
She was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church in Anderson, where she was very active. She was the second female to be an elder with the church, she belonged to the Women's West Minister Assoc., and a member of Nikaphilia. She was also a member of the Dental Auxiliary, and a Lady Kiwanian.
She is survived by her husband of 53 yrs., whom she married August 21, 1949, at 1st Presbyterian Church in Anderson, Dr. Richard E. Harrison, daughters, Kathleen Sue (husband, Keith) Hubbard of Anderson, and Shirley Joanne (husband, Joseph) Santisteven of Aurora, Colorado; sons, David W. (wife, Elizabeth) Harrison of Patterson, NY, and Andrew B. Harrison of Greenfield; a sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Hensley-Accountious of Northridge, CA; brother-in-law, Hugh P. Harrison of Indianapolis; four grandsons, Kent R Hubbard of Anderson, Richard C. Harrison of Patterson, NY, Jeremy Zane Harrison of Patterson, NY and Benardo Santisteven of Aurora, CO, along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends.
She was preceded by her parents, Herman V. and Effie Pauline (Hagner) Hallett
Services will be Thursday, June 19, 2003 at 1:00 PM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. Rick Kimmer officiating.
Burial will be in East Maplewood cemetery, Anderson .
Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel.

Judy A. O'Connor
Judy Ann O'Connor, 67, of Spencer died at her residence with her family along her side on Saturday, July 23, 2011.
Judy was born on November 11, 1943 in Fairbury, IL and lived in Chenoa, IL with her late parents, Harold Ferguson and Lillian (Adams) Ferguson. She was married to Joe O'Connor on August 7, 1983. Judy took pride in her career as an educator, teacher, and librarian for the Spencer-Owen Community School District for over 31 years molding many young minds. She assisted many in obtaining their GEDs through VITAL link. Judy was a member of the NEA, ISTA, Daughters of Isabella and Tri Kappa Sorority. She also was a board member of the Owen County Library. Judy worshipped at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Bloomington. She was a loving mother to her children and grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her husband, Joe O'Connor of Spencer; children, Brad Cuttill (Michelle) of Abbeyville, S.C., Michelle Webster (Eric) of Spencer, Theresa Carrithers (Brian) of Camby, Jennifer Rogers (Troy) of Spencer, Andrea Sullivan (Paul) of Solsberry, and Kelly Aikman (Erik) of Mt. Washington, KY; grandchildren, Ethan and Dane Cuttill, Zac and Cassie Webster, Josh and Jonathan Carrithers, Tori Bortt, Zach and Conner Rogers, Fallon Sullivan and Mason and Alyssa Aikman; sister, Jolene Simmons of Flanagan, IL; and brother-in-law, Dan O'Connor (Sue) of Madison, WI.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Wilma Groomer, and brother-in-law, Richard Groomer.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Mike Fritsch. Entombment is to follow at Chambersville cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 4-8 at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville. A Rosary Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions may be made to the Daughters of Isabella, The American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.

Wesley B. Ketcham
Wesley B. Ketcham of Ellettesville In.passed away in his home on Thursday June 16 between 8 and 12 am at the age of47.
Wes was born in Martinsville, Indiana on November 17, 1963 to William A. Ketcham and Eva Corteville Ketcham.He graduated from Bloomington North High School. Wes wasprivate yet accomplished. Former military service and acreditations in the culinary arts made him one mean cook. There was nothing Wes couldn't "hack", in the cyber zone, Wes was unparalleled. His warped sense of humor, sharp tongue, brutal honesty and shirt off his back mentality made him an invaluable friend, loving son and awesome brother.He will be terrible missed. Wes was best known as "The Kitchen Mercenary" putting his talents to work for the Bloomington American legion for the past ten years.
Wes is survived by his mother, Eva Ketcham; stepmother, Mary May; brother, Kim Ketcham, and three sisters, Sulinda Sargent, Ruth Ketcham and Regina Ketcham.
Graveside inurnment services will be held at Ketcham cemetery on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with Brother Steve Baker officiating.Following the service there will bea remembrance gathering held at the American Legion on W. Third street in Bloomington. Friends as well as family are more than welcome to attend both services.
Directions to Ketcham cemetery from Bloomington. Highway 37 South to Victor Pike. Turn Right on Victor Pike. Drive approximately 2-3 miles to 7070 Victor Pike where a drive will be on the left next to a large tree. A sign will be attached to the tree directing towards the cemetery.

Jana V. Mitchell
Jana V. Mitchell, 78, of Springville, died at 9:35 p.m. Sunday at Garden Villa Nursing Center.
She was born March 31, 1933, in Oneida, Tenn., to Henry Owens and Mae Duncan Owens. She was married to John W. Mitchell for 12 years.
She was a homemaker and worked at Peck Inc. and Columbia House. She was a member of Solsberry Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, John W. Mitchell, of Springville; three sons, Randy Stephens, of Kentucky, Lanny Stephens (Betty), of Bloomington, and Danny Stephens (Shirley), of Bloomington; twin sister, Una Holt, of Oneida, Tenn.; grandchildren, April Hazel, Danny Stephens II, Joseph Stephens and Stephanie Stephens; and great-grandchildren, Matthew Hazel Jr., Mason Hazel, Joseph Stephens Jr., Braydon Stephens, Blake Owens Stephens, Danny Stephens, September Stephens and Summer Stephens.
She was preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers and sisters.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Solsberry Christian Church. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the church with Pastor Don Thie and Jim Wimer officiating. Interment will be in Solsberry cemetery.

Angela Holder
Angela Holder, 39, of Bloomington died at her residence on Tuesday, June 7, 2011.
She was born in Bloomington on October 14, 1971 into the home of Jim Runyon and Sherry (Crohn) Runyon. Angela worked at the Scottish Inn in Bloomington.
She is survived by many family members.
Visitation will be held at Chandler Funeral Home on Friday, June 10, 2011 from 11:00 to 1:00. Graveside funeral services will be held at Harmony cemetery on Friday at 2:00 p.m.

Kevin Eugene Phelps
On Monday, September 12, 2011, our Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Grandchild, Cousin, and Friend, Kevin Eugene Phelps of Bloomington, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 46.
Kevin was born in Indianapolis on March 25, 1965 to Hershel Phelps and Shirley (Williams) Brock. He worked as a medical billing clerk at Morgan County Hospital. His loving grip on the hearts of everyone who was blessed to have known him, will never lessen. He taught us through his unflagging, unconditionally loving, life. He worked tirelessly and passionately for AIDS awareness and in the AIDS community. No one ever born, loved and lived life with the child-like joy and innocence, that Kevin did on a daily basis. He was the Pied Piper of the World; everyone who met him was touched by his acceptance, his brilliant and hysterical sense of humor, and openness. His generosity of heart, spirit and soul, touched people throughout his life. There are truly no words to describe how his family and friends are, and will be, affected by his passing. His legacy of love, life and laughter will live with all of us, forever; we shall never let him be forgotten.
Kevin is survived by many, many loved ones; beloved mother, Shirley Brock, and beloved bonus-father, Glenn Brock; siblings, Debbie and Jerry Brinkman, Donna and Ray Wells, Patty Phelps, and Randy Christie, Linda Norris, Kenny Phelps and Laurie Rubino, Diane and Jason Wade, GD and Carrie Brock; nieces and nephews; Amber Payne, Jodi Brinkman, Steven Wells and Vanessa Wells, Chad and Natalie Wells, Donnie Meadows, Nicki and Patrick Owens, Karla Deweese and Steven Tauriello, Matt, Jenny, and Mike Cattel. Ryan Phelps, Jessica Waters, Paul Rubino, G.D., Ella, and Drew Brock; great nieces and nephews, Brandi Brinkman, Draven Brinkman, Kristopher Wells, Jordan Meadows, Tucker Wells, Brea Wells, Danny Wells, Kirsten Wells, Warren Wells, LaRue Wells, Cole Christie, Karson and Kallie Tauriello, Schuyler Alcorn Phelps, Orion Waters, Jason Jr, Jake and Jared Wade. Kevin cherished so very many friends, at the top of that list are his Spiritual Wife, Melanie Howard, his longtime partner, Tony Massey, and best friends, Jeri and Marq. He also leaves behind his beloved 5 furry children.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Herschel Phelps, his grandparents, Ruth and Glenn Williams and Ollie and Ralph Phelps, and his precious Joey Taylor.
A celebration of life service will be held at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville Thursday from 4:00 until 6:00.
Memorial contributions may be made to Positive Linkat 333 E. Miller Dr. Bloomington, IN 47401 or any AIDS related charity.

Margaret L. Harris
Margaret Lee (Dozier) Harris, 86, died Wednesday, August 18, 2011 at the Richland Bean Blossom Health Care Center.
Margaret was born on February 6, 1925 in Sullivan, Indianato the late Otto and Maude (Owens) Dozier. She worked as a Property Manager for Cedar View Property Management and was a member of the Ellettsville United Methodist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Dozier and sisters, Maxine Lumsdon, Aline Roberts, and Shirley Polly.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 49 years, Walter Harris; children, William Dugger of Greenwood, Connie Davis of Bloomington, Pamela (Dennis) Maxwell of Martinsville; Warren (Mia) Harris of Ellettsville, and Russell (Cyndi) Harris of Bloomington; sixteen grandchildren, Mike Davis of Bloomington, Terry Davis of Bloomington, Trina Hart of New Haven, MS, Cindie Benifel of Laport, Melissa Chrena of Springville, Donna Ervin of Indianapolis, Tara Stewart of Martinsville, Leslie Maxwell of Bloomington, Meghan Maxwell and Evan Maxwell both of Martinsville, Braxton Harris, Laurel Harris and Mira Harris all of Ellettsville, Alex Harris and Elizabeth Ann Harris both of Montreal, Canada, and Olivia Holt of Bloomington; brother, Eldon Dozier of North Ft. Meyers, FL; sisters, Nina Chin of Ellettsville, Phyllis Lilly of St. George, UT, Lorene Key of Lompac, CA and Lita Trulock of Bloomington.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at Presbyterian cemetery in Ellettsville on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Art Collins officiating. Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville is assisting with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donors choice.
