RONNY GINDLESBERGER

ULYSSES -- Ronny Gindlesberger, 43, died Sunday Aug. 24, 2003 in Oden Ark.

He was born Jan. 26, 1960, in Ulysses to Gary and Carol Gindlesberger.

He married Cheryl Ramsey on Aug. 24, 1979 in Cimmarron.

Then he married Elayne Kellett in 2001. She survives.

He graduated from Ulysses High School in 1978. He graduated from Dodge City Community College with an Associate's Degree in Chemical Engineering.

He worked for Dowell Schlumberger Oil Services for 19 years as a Sales Engineer.

In 1999, he moved to Fort Smith, Ark. where he worked for Columbine Insurance, Co. as a salesman unitil his health forced him to retire.

He was a member of the Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church and he was an Alter Boy in Ulysses and Perryton, Texas.

He enjoyed all sports. His favorites were golf, fishing and skeet shooting.

Other survivors include two sons; David Gindlesberger, Phoenix, Ariz., Brad Gindlesberger, Fort Smith, Ark.; one daughter, Amy Cluck, Rudy, Ark.;three brothers Kary Gindlesberger, Thayer, Mike Gindlesberger, St. Joseph, Mo., Rick Glindlesberger, Flora, Ill.; and one grandaughter, Denae Cluck, Rudy, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Kip Allen Gindlesberger.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses with the Rev. Tony Judge presiding.

Memorials are suggested to Brad Gindlesberger Educational Fund at Grant County Bank, P.O. Box 388, Ulysses, KS 67880.

EDWARD LEWIS HENDRICKSON

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- Edward Lewis Hendrickson, 32, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2003.

He was born Oct. 19, 1970, to Larry Hendrickson and LaDena (Hendrickson) Betchel in Ft. Still, Okla.

He grew up in Lawton, Okla. and attended Woodland Hills grade school and Eisenhower Junior and Senior High School. He was an experienced cable splicer.

Survivors include his parents; step-father, Mel Bechtel; one brother, Dereck Cooper; two sisters, Kasey Rochelle Hendrickson and Shauna Martin; grandmothers, Lucille Hendrickson and Bessie Keen, aunt Mearl Killingsworth; cousin, Debra Williams; nephews, Cory Cooper, Kyle Cooper, and Charlie Martin; nieces, Lacey Martin and Stephanie Cooper.

ANDREA RAZO CABRERA

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church.

A Prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. today at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery in Liberal.

Friends may visit until 9 p.m. today at Kitch -Brenneman Funeral Home.

DOYLE KIRK

Doyle Kirk, 58, died Thursday, Sept. 25 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.

He was born July 26, 1945, to A.d. and Dora beatrice (Estes) Kirk.

He married Jeanell Creason in August, 1962. Then he married Helen Irene Anderson, Sept. 3, 1968 in Perryton, Texas. She Survives.

He was graduated from Liberal High School in 1964. He was a lifetime resident of Liberal. He worked as a Hotshot Driver for HOMCO, Inc. He was a member of the VFW Lane Day Post 3166. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Other survivors include; two sons, Byron Doyle Kirk, Liberal, Allan Drew Kirk and wife, Brenda, Kismet; two daughters, Catherine Collins and husband, Gary, Liberal, Angela Kirk, and husband, Randy Maes, Liberal; two brothers, Donald Kirk, Liberal, Paul Kirk, Liberal; two sisters, Donna Peeker, Charles City, Iowa, and Tracy Baker, Audubon, Minn.; and seven grand-children, Tony Graves, Travis Graves, Andrew Kirk, Brandon Kirk, Tabitha Graves, Kristin Maes and Ashley Kirk.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grand-daughter, Amanda Beth Graves.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel in Liberal.

Burial will be with Military Honors by Ft. Riley Honor Guard at Restlawn Cemetery in Liberal.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association in care of Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, KS 67901.

KATHY DEEDS

ULYSSES -- Kathy Deeds, 51, died Wednesday, September 24, 2003, at her home in Ulysses.

She was born March 31, 1952, to John and Margaret (Wasko) Kurimski in Albia, Iowa.

She married Micheal Deeds Jan. 26, 1974, in Lovelia, Iowa. He survives.

She was a resident of Ulysses since Family Physicians and later at Family Practice Associates.

She was a member of Shelton Memorial Christian Church, Disciple Women and was very active in the Blessed Bounty Bazaar.

Other survivors include one son, Sean Deeds, Ulysses; one daughter, Angela Isenberg, Indianola, Iowa, mother, Margaret Kurimski, Knoxville, Iowa; one brother, Johnny Kurimski, Knoxville, Iowa; and one granddaughter, Malorie Isenberg.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Kurimski.

Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. at Shelton Memorial Christian Church in Ulysses with the Reverend Bill Harrold presiding.

Memorials are suggested to the Shelton Memorial Christian Church Disciple Women or to Family Practice Associates Building fund in memory of Kathy Deeds in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 West Grant, Ulysses, KS 67880.

DOYLE KIRK

MAYNARD GENE "DOC" TAYLOR

Maynard Gene "Doc" Taylor, 69, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003 at his home.

He was born at Smith Center to Pearlie and Elma (Maddocks) Taylor, July 14, 1934.

He married Mildred Hickey at Cheney they divorced. He then married Verla Tillotson Nelson on Sept. 3, 1966. She survives.

He was a truck driver in the oil fields.

Other Survivors include five sons; Mark Taylor and wife, Alisha, Leoti, Mike Taylor and wife,Kathy, Canton, Okla., Matthew Taylor and wife, Melissa, Hugoton, Monty Taylor and wife, Shelly, Rolla, Kevin Barbo, Ulysses,: one step-son, James Nelson, hugoton,; two step-daughters, Janet Blauvelt and husband, Terry, Hastings, Neb., Joyce Bullock, Licoln, Neb.;two brotthers, Howard Taylor, Las Vegas, Nev., Bob Taylor, Omaha, Neb.; one sister, Venice Collins, Holdridge, Neb., 24 grandchildren , 11 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends..

He was preceded in death by his parents;three brothers, Harold Taylor, Verlyn Taylor and Melvin Taylor; two sisters, Violet Simms and Velma Cook Bryan.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at United Methodist Church in Rolla with the Pastor Charlie Mendednhall presiding.

Burial will be at Rolla Cemetery in Rolla.

Friends may call Paul's Funeral home in Hugoton until 8 p.m. today.

Memorials are suggested to the family or the Guymon Hospice in care of Paul's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, KS, 67951

VELMA L. WILLIAMS

Velma L. Williams died Sept. 27, 2003 at Hutchinson Hospital in Hutchinson.

She was born May 2, 1926 to Cal and Verena Yankee Conner in Medicine Lodge.

She married Donald Paul Williams in 1953 in Hutchinson. He died Dec. 3, 1986.

Survivors include two sons, Frank E. Williams, Hutchinson, Donald C. Williams, Hutchinson,; three daughters, Carla K. Gustason, Liberal, Vada M. Smith, Hutchinson, Patricia A. Lamas, Hutchinson; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Connere and one sister, Vada Gerdes.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m, Thursday. at Fairlawn Burial Park in Hutchinson.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society in care of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502

LOLA BERNADINE CANTRELL MORFORD

HUGOTON -- Lola Bernadine Cantrell Morford, 81, died at her residence Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003.

She was born Sept. 27, 1922 to Curtis and Laura (Terry) Jackson in Purdy, Mo.

She married Charles H. Cantrell May 24, 1941 at Galena. He died May 4, 1974.

She then married Leland Morford, January 27, 1978 in Hugoton. He died November, 1966.

She worked as a cook at the Stevens County Hospital for several years.

She was a member of the First Church of God in Hugoton.

Her hobbies included collecting angels, crocheting, ad flowers and gardening.

Survivors include three sons, J. C. Cantrell, Moscow, Bill Cantrell and wife, Vinetta, Hugoton, Jim Cantrell and wife, Sali, Houston, Texas; two daughters, Glenda Cox and husband, Ray, Hugoton, Sheryn Gaverick and companion, Larry Parker, Tyrone, Okla.; one brother, Amon Jackson, Baldwin City, 12 grandchildren , 16 great-granchildren and many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son; Charles Cantrell, one grandson, Troy Cantrell, one granddaughter, Shelly Cantrell, one brother Herman Jackson and one sister, Lena Snow.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at First Church of God in Hugoton with the Pastor Bill Vincent presiding.

Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton.

Friends may call Paul's Funeral Home today until 8 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to First Church of God in Hugoton in care of Paul's Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
