MANHATTAN -- Angelica Concepcion Garcia, 19, died Monday February 2, 2004, at Stormont Vail Health Care in Topeka.
She was born Nov. 26, 1984, to Jose and Theresa Vasquez Garcia.
She was a student at the Flint Hills Job Corps Center in Manhattan.
She was a member of Saint Mary Catholic Church in Garden City.
She is survived by one son, Isaac Damion Bonilla, Garden City; her parents, Jose Garcia, Amarillo, Texas, and her mother, Theresa Garcia, Liberal; her step-mother, Dorothy Garcia, Amarillo, Texas; six brothers, Chris Lucero, Garden City, Lonnie Lucero, Garden City, Mark Lucero, Garden City, Cristino Umana, Junction City, Javier Umana, Liberal and Jose Louis Garcia, Amarillo, Texas; six sisters, Susan Aldana, Garden City, Lori Lucero, Colo., Monica Lucero, Garden City, Michelle Lucero, Liberal, Marissa Lucero, Liberal, Elizabeth Garcia, Amarillo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Josephine Lucero.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Garden City.
Vigil services will be at 8 p.m. tonight at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Garden City.
Friends may call the Price and Sons Funeral Home until 6 p.m. today.
Father James E. Baker is the celebrant.
Burial will be at the Valley View Cemetery
in Garden City.

BEULAH KAY (DEE) DHORITY
TRIBUNE -- Beulah Kay (Dee) Dhority, 64, died Wednesday, February 4, 2004, at Southwest Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 26, 1940, to Gilbert Ott and Charlotte Josephine Grove Dhority in Syracuse.
She was a graduate of Greeley County High School and attended the Liberal Area Vocational Technical School and Seward County Community College. She was a paint contractor and had been a Liberal resident since 1972. She served in the United States Army from 1958 until 1961.
Survivors include one brother, Julius Dhority and his wife, Georgia, Westminster, Colo.; one sister, Mary Mea Stewart, Tribune; four nephews, Sam Stewart, Tribune, Shan Stewart and wife, Myra, Tribune, Stan Stewart and wife, Wanda, El Dorado, Mark Dhority and wife, Jean, Broomfield, Colo.; nieces, Sandy Schultz and husband, Cliff, Satanta, Sue Nell and Ken Burch, Ingalls, Reta Burns and husband, Joe, Spearfish, S.D., Judy Kay and Dan Lund, St. Cloud, Minn.; 16 great-nieces and nephews; 12 great-great-nieces and nephews, her caregiver, Carla Morgan, Liberal; friend Pyllis Morgan, Guymon, Okla.; and numerous other friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother-in-law, Benton Stewart, one nephew, Stevie Stewart and one great-great nephew, Scott Stewart.
Funeral services will be at noon (M.S.T.) Saturday at Price and Sons Funeral Home in Tribune.
Burial will be in Greeley County Cemetery
in Tribune with Military Honors provided by the V.F.W. Post # 7521.
Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers to either the Salina Regional Health Foundation Toys for Cancer Center or the M.S. Foundation both in care of the funeral home.
HAZEL I. GRIFFITH
FT. COLLINS, Colo. -- Hazel I. Grffith, 90, died Wednesday, February 4, 2004, at Columbine Care Center West in Ft. Collins, Colo.
She was born June 10, 1913, to Lawrence Eugene "Gene" and Iona Belle (Fellers) Warden in Mullinville.
She married Jerold M. Griffith Oct. 16, 1933, in Johnson. He died Aug. 7, 1987.
She was a resident of Liberal for most of her life, moving to Ft. Collins only a year ago. She was a 1931 Liberal High School graduate. During World War II, she served with the Civil Air Patrol. She was a homemaker and also worked in retail sales for 20 years, working at Jo-Lee's Dress Shop and Anna Trahern's Dress Shop.
She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Liberal Senior Citizens Center and numerous Bridge clubs. She also volunteered with the Southwest Medical Center Auxiliary.
Survivors include five duaghters, Dorothy L. "Dottie" Hohman, Ft. Collins, Colo., Jeri Ann Boyce, Jefferson City, Mo., Janice J. "Jodi" Dixon and husband, Roland, Lansing, Vickie L. Amos and husband, Gary, Dothan, Ala. and Billie V. Wiliamson, Ft. Collins, Colo.; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Leonard, and Archie Warden; one sister, Hope Reifschneider.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Chapel in Liberal with Layman Bob Judd presiding.
Burial will follow at Liberal Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home in Liberal.
Memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in care of Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. Second Street, Liberal, KS 67901.
PAT HARRIS
Pat Harris, 68, died Saturday, February 7, 2004, at her home in Liberal.
She was born July 20, 1935, to Marion and Gertrude Hartley Beason in Baca County, Colo.
She married Elmer F. Harris Sept. 11, 1954, in Clayton, N.M. He survives.
She attended school in Colorado, Texas and Elkhart. She moved to Liberal in 1952 from Perryton, Texas and worked as a waitress for many years. She began as a fabricator for Beech Aircraft in Liberal, later transferring to Wichita in 1985. She retired and returned to Liberal in 1997.
She was a member of the South Church of God serving as a chairman of the hospitality and historial committees, also assisting for many years with the Summer Vacation Bible School, Beech Employee Club, Golden Rule, Golden B, worked with the United Way and a member of the AFL-CIO Union.
Other survivors include two sons, Eugene Bolton and wife, Kay, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Bill Harris and companion Stan Godfrey, Wichita; two daughters, Patty Volden and companion, Robert, Liberal, and Lura Jane Wheat and companion Polly, Wichita; four sisters, Charlene Jones and husband, John, Ft. Worth, Texas, Betty Records, Ottowa, Leona Carlile, Liberal, Peggy Rodkey and husband, Virgil, Tulsa, Okla.; 16 grandchildren, Diana Mann, Sandy Wood, Tommy Bolton, Christina Mauldin, Jamie Ramirez, Bill Harris Jr., Bill Harris, Tammy Britian, Rebecca Thompson, Charlie Harris, Elmer Harris; 39 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the South Church of God with the Reverend Rusty Callahan presiding.
Burial will be at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. today and from 8 until 11 a.m. Monday.
Memorials are suggested to the South Church of God Building Fund, Missionary Women, Cancer Center of Kansas Dodge City or to Hospice, all in care of the mortuary.
LARRY NORMAN THOMPSON
ELKHART -- Larry Norman Thompson, 70, died Thursday, February 5, 2004, at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart.
He was born Dec. 27, 1933, to Gilbert and Edith Thompson in Seward County.
He married Pauline Robinson June 20, 1952, in Guymon, Okla. She survives.
At age nine, he became the son of Arthur and Mildred Wilson Dreyer. He attended schools in Richfield, Kissimmee, Fla. and completed his formal education at the school of the Ozarks in Missouri. He was a farmer and rancher. He worked in the oil and gas industry and became involved in development and production. He retired in 1996.
His hobbies included reading, hunting and bass fishing.
Survivors include one son, Stephen Lee Thompson, Oklahoma City, Okla. and Nancy Lamb Thompson, Liberal; two duaghters, Nita Jo Clark and husband, Tom, Cripple Creek, Colo. and Terry Lynn Ferguson, Coyle, Okla.; five brothers, Jack Thompson, Lake View Terrace, Calif., David Cotton, Kismet, Arthur Jacobs, Tempe, Ariz., Lambert Jacobs, Miami, Fla., and John Dreyer, Mesa, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Jason Cooper, Kathy Bell, G.W. Cooper, Dusty Ferguson and Tara Phillips; eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Frownfelter and Fred Dreyer; three sisters, Rosalee Duran, Mona Kay Marlin, and Helen Acree.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at the Bible Baptist Church in Elkhart with the Reverend David Johnson presiding.
Burial will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery
in Elkhart.

EDNA HOERR
Edna Hoerr, 76, died Monday, February 9, 2004, at her residence in Liberal.
She was born July 7, 1927, to John Robert and Nancy Jane (Reed) Edwards in Swain, Ark.
She married Riley Watson, April 4, 1945. She then married Louis Hoerr, May 20, 1973, in Liberal. He survives.
She was a longtime Liberal resident.
She graduated from Swain High School in Swain, Ark.
She retired from Alco and also had been employed at JC Penny's.
She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Liberal.
Other survivors include four sons, Billy Watson and wife, Linda, Liberal, Larry Watson and wife, Kaylinn, Greeley, Colo., Jerry Watson and wife, Mary, Emporia, Danny Watson and wife, Cindy, Warrior, Ala.; one daughter, Judy Watson, Liberal; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Edwards, Rogers, Ark.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Cory Barnett presiding.
Burial will be at the Liberal Cemetery.
