JUNE ELLISON
Johnson June Ellison, 87, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at Stanton County Long Term Care Unit in Johnson.
She was born June 30, 1917, to Jessie Logan Miller and Hettie O. Haris in Missouri.
She married Charles M. Ellison Nov. 26, 1934, in Idaho. He died Aug. 31, 1991.
She worked as a waitress at the Coffee Cup Cafe in Johnson. She enjoyed crocheting, pottery and making dolls.
Survivors include one son, Norbert (Nubs) Ellison, Johnson; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Dewey Harrison, Host Springs, S.D.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Norman Ellison and Myron Ellison as well as three brothers.
Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday at Stanton County Cemetery
in Johnson.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson.

THERRON L. TAYLOR
Therron L. Taylor, 61, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1004, at his residence in Liberal.
He was born Aug. 26, 1943, to Farris A. and Myna M. Combs Taylor.
He married Sherry E. Howell June 9, 1962, in Tribune.
He graduated from Eureka High School in Baker, Okla., and attended Oklahoma University several years.
He farmed until 1972. He worked for Tradewind Industries in marketing and was promoted to vice president before retiring in 1982.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Liberal.
Survivors include one son, Shane Taylor and his wife Becky, Warrensburg, Mo.; two daughters, Lisa Olson and husband Pete, Liberal, and Liz Taylor, Hooker, Okla.; and six grandchildren, Tyler and Brittany Valdez, Allison, Lexi and Candus Taylor and Elias Olson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Memorial services will be conducted at 5 p.m., Saturday at Miller Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Odle presiding.
Burial will be at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the Seward County Community College Foundation (scholarship fund) in care of Miller Mortuary.
DELOS LAWELLIN
Delos "Junior" Lawellin, 72, former Liberal resident, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, in Phoenix.
He was born in Garnett.
He served in the Marines in the Korean War from 1951 to 1954.
He was a drilling supervisor in the oil and gas industry throughout the U.S. and abroad.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Phyllis; three sons, Randy, Utah, Doug, Los Angeles, Brad, Phoenix; one daughter, Gayle, Surprise, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Ralph Lawellin, Phoenix; and three sisters, Mary Twombly, Topeka, Ilene Miller, Garnett, and Shirley Grigsby, Kansas.
Funeral services were at 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at Best Funeral Services and Chapel in Phoenix.
MARY MIRES
Mary Mires, 91, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal.
Services are pending with Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Okla.
MARY J. KREY
HUGOTON Mary Jane "Molly" Krey, 49, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at her residence in Hugoton.
She was born Sept. 3, 1955, to Gilbert H. and Wilma J. (Ford) Coulter in Long Beach, Calif.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her parents; one son, Harrison Lee Krey, Hugoton; one brother, Timothy J. Coulter, Hugoton; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jacob Levi, and one daughter, Amber Jane.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the Rolla United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Jordan presiding.
Burial will be in Richfield Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton.

JULIA A. BRINCKMAN
MEADE Julia Anne Brinckman, 99, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, at her residence in Meade.
She was born March 21, 1905, to Henry B. "Dick" and Nellie (Ford) Robinson in rural Barton County.
She married Paulus Henry Brinckman Nov. 15, 1931, in Meade. He died Nov. 4, 1973.
She was a graduate of Grand Island College in Grand Island, Neb.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, serving as a district officer, both of Meade.
Survivors include two sons, Leo H. Brinckman and wife Laura Belle, Meade, and Merlin D. Brinckman and wife Janeal, Meade; one daughter, Julia K. Andrew and husband George, Norfolk, Neb.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Esther Bruington, and one grandson.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Meade with the Rev. Susan Greene presiding.
Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery
in Meade.
Friends may call until 7 p.m. today at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary in Meade.

LORETTA M. LEETE
DODGE CITY Loretta M. Leete, 76, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at Western Plains Regional Medical Center in Dodge City.
She was born March 6, 1927, to Silas O. and Augusta M. Glackin Barton in Hugoton.
She married Charles H. Lerch Nov. 6, 1943, in Liberal.
She then married Robert R. Leete Feb. 6, 1954, in Almogordo, N.M. He died Jan. 29, 1997.
She attended school in Liberal.
She worked at Beech Aircraft during World War II and later at the Eureka Laundry. She worked at McDonald's for 23 years retiring in 2002.
After moving to Dodge City in 2002, she worked at the Park Plaza Towers and the Senior Companions for the past two years.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Liberal.
She was a member of Senior Friends and the Senior Companions, both of Dodge City.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Lerch and wife Deanna, Liberal, Arden Lerch and wife Paula, Dodge City, and Robert Leete and wife Hazel, Liberal; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Louise Dacy, Farmington, N.M.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and one son.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday at the First Assembly of God Church.
Burial will be in Liberal Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 to 11 a.m., Tuesday at Miller Mortuary.
