DONNA L. MICHAELIS
Donna L. Michaelis, 64, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
She was born Oct. 27, 1940, to Earl Eston and Bridget Marie (Zorn) Pittser in Dorrance.
She married Donald Michaelis Jan. 10, 1960, in Hays.
He survives.
She was a 1959 graduate of Bunker Hill High School.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and a Sunday school teacher.
Her hobbies included bowling and fishing.
Other survivors include four daughters, Dinah Plummer and husband Jim, Dianna Norton and husband John, and Dora Dye and husband Shawn, all of Liberal, and Deanna Dye and husband Shane of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; one brother, Lonnie Pittser and wife Mary, Liberal; and one sister, Ronna Duerson, Turpin, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother-in-law, Jim Duerson.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home of Liberal.
Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery
in Liberal.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home.
IRENE L. THOMPSON
DODGE CITY -- Irene L. Thompson, 81, died Thursday, February 24, 2005, at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City.
She was born on Sept. 8, 1923, to Edgar and Ethel (Snyder) Thompson in Kismet.
She was an elementary administrator at Miller Elementary School for 29 years. She also had taught 17 years.
She graduated from Kismet Rural High School in 1941.
She also graduated from Fort Hay State College with a B.S. in Education in 154 and a Masters degree in 1962.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Dodge City.
Survivors include a nephew, Delbert Dean Thompson, Forgan, Okla.; three nieces, Darma McVey, Liberal, Marilyn Carter, Yorba Linda, Calif., Jeri Gorman, Casa Grande, Ariz.; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Loyd D. Thompson; and a sister, LuElla M. Green.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lance Carrithers presiding.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at Swaim Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery
in Liberal.
Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church in Dodge City or Kismet and Presbyterian Manor of the Plains.
STERLING WATSON
Sterling "Shorty" Watson, 90, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born May 27, 1914, to Melvin and Quintilla (Williams) Watson in Houston County, Texas.
He married Addie Johnson Hudson July 7, 1960, in Liberal. She survives.
He worked for Mendenhall Oil Company and later worked for the City of Liberal, retiring in 1973.
He was a member of Tyrone Church of Christ in Tyrone, Okla.
Other survivors include two daughters, Kathy Watson, Tallahassee, Fla., and Linda Hudson, Altadena, Calif.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Houston Watson, Houston; and one sister, Victoria Adams, Hot Springs, Ark.
He was preceded in death by one brother, O.B. Watson; and two sisters, Ora Bea Reynolds and Willie Lee Williams.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
WILLIAM H. WALL
MONTEZUMA -- William H. Wall, 87, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at his home in Montezuma.
He was born May 19, 1917, to William Casewell and Sarah Elizabeth (Brown) Wall in Wichita.
He married Billy Jeanne Cooper Nov. 29, 1946, in Rockwall, Texas. She survives.
He attended school in Kaw City, Okla., and Wichita, earning a degree in general science.
He was a plant manager for Cities Service-Williams Gas Company for 43 years.
He was a member of United Methodist Church in Montezuma.
He was a member of Albert Pike Masonic Lodge, an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church, a school board member for more than 20 years, and past president of Montezuma Lions Club and Montezuma Township Trustee.
Other survivors include one son, William Howard "Bill" Clinton Wall and wife Deb, Montezuma; two daughters, Cheryl Anne Wall Moore, and Debbie Jeanne Wall Renner and husband Dennis, all of Dodge City; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church in Montezuma with the Rev. Gene Eshleman presiding.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Montezuma Funeral Home.

HUGOTON -- Ruby May Carlisle, 79, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, at the Stevens County Hospital.

ULYSSES -- Christopher Coy "Vance" Brown, 12, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, in Ulysses.

SHERIFF BILLY E. CASSINGHAM
BEAVER COUNTY, Okla. -- Sheriff Billy E. Cassingham, 67, died Friday, Jan. 6, 2006, at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced by Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be sent to a scholarship fund at The First Security Bank of Beaver, Okla.
VINA V. FELLERS
HUGOTON -- Vina V. Fellers, 90, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at Pioneer Manor in Hugoton.
She was born Oct. 7, 1915, to Charles and Florence Wheeler in Missouri.
She married Virgil Parker and he preceded her in death in 1964.
She then married William Fellers and he preceded her in death in 1997.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Mother Advisors Order of the Rainbow for girls and the VFW Auxiliary, all of Hugoton.
Survivors include one son, Lloyd G. Parker and wife, Sara K., Bel Air, Md.; one daughter, Leta L. Black and husband, Joseph J., Pompton Lakes, N.J.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Opal Smith, Burwell, Neb.; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; four brothers, Lemoine, Jay, Charles and Russell Wheeler; and four sisters, Alta Adair, Lee Catherine Bundy, Inez Drei and Doris Hampton.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Paul's Funeral Home Chapel in Hugoton with Minister Rolly Salts presiding. --
Burial will follow at the Hugoton Cemetery. --
