NOLA CRAWFORD
Nola (Graham) Crawford, 95, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at Southwest Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 27, 1910, to Wilbert and Etta (Corkins) Graham in Peabody.
She married Granvel Crawford March 11, 1936, in Liberal. He died in 1957.
She was a 1928 graduate of Liberal High School.
She was the secretary for her husband's business, Crawford Machine Shop.
She was a member of the First United Methodist church, Order of the Eastern Star and Southwest Medical Center Auxiliary. She was also the secretary for the United Way for many years.
She is survived by two nephews, Hugh Harnden, Liberal, and Leon Graham, Liberal; three nieces, Karen Graham, Liberal, Loree Hale, Liberal, and Lola Sutton, Hugoton; and many other nephews, nieces and their descendants.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Hattie Harnden, Hazel Harnden and Naida Hamilton; and one brother, Clifford Graham.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ken Hathaway presiding.
Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time Monday at the funeral home.

STANLEY B. PHILLIPS
HUGOTON -- Stanley Baker Phillips, 65, died Friday, March 10, 2006, at Southwest Medical Center.
He was born June 22, 1940, to William Baker and Barbara Roseanna (Warken) Phillips in Menlo.
He married Mary E. Lovin Sept. 28, 1963, in Menlo. She survives.
He retired from Panhandle Eastern Gas Company.
He was a member and on the board of Gas Capital Museum of Hugoton.
Other survivors include one son, Martin William Phillips and wife, Sherry, Hugoton; three daughters, Mary Jo-Ann Delaney and husband, Vaughn, Cidercreek, Mo., Neva Marie McCurry and husband, Travis, Hugoton, and Sandra Dawn Strickland and husband, Aaron, Borger, Texas; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rosalea Bodnar and husband, Louie, Elkhart, and Louise Swank, Colby; and many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Lenard Phillips, Charles Phillips and Linder Phillips, and one sister, Evelyn Bryant.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Assembly of God Church in Hugoton with the Rev. Robert Bailey presiding.
Burial will be at Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
MARJORIE NELSON
SUBLETTE -- Marjorie Nelson, 95, died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at Satanta Long Term Care Unit in Satanta.
She was born July 24, 1910, to Mr. and Mrs. Frasier in Mankato.
She married Roy L. Nelson June 14, 1936, in Garden City. He died Jan. 15, 1972.
She came to Sublette as a school teacher at Old Santa Fe. She and her husband sang for many weddings and funerals.
She was a member of the Christian Church of Sublette.
She is survived by one son, John R. Nelson, Redondo Beach, Calif.; two granddaughters, Tara and Lindsay Nelson, Redondo Beach; one brother, Richard Frasier, Burr Oak; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter-in-law, Linda Nelson; two brothers, Bob and John Frasier; and one sister, Marsha Annen.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Christian Church of Sublette with Minister David Erwin presiding.
Burial will be at Haskell County Cemetery
in Sublette.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Haskell County Funeral Home in Sublette.

HUGOTON -- Judy Ann Sapp, 60, died Friday, March 10, 2006, at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.
She was born July 3, 1945, to Aubrey Robert and Frances Jewell (Sisco) Patton in Walsh, Colo.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of My Father's House of Hugoton.
She is survived by two daughters, Lori Pothuisje, Fritch, Texas, and Denise Mann and husband, Ruben, Hugoton; five grandsons; three brothers, Ronnie Phillips, Springdale, Ark., Robert "Bob" Patton, Amarillo, Texas, and Charles Patton, Paris, Texas; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son-in-law, Phillip Pothuisje.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church with Pastor Keith Peachey presiding.
Burial will be at Hugoton Cemetery.

OPAL E. ARNOLD
HUGOTON -- Opal E. Arnold, 95, died Saturday, March 11, 2006, at Trinity Manor Nursing Home in Dodge City.
She was born May 9, 1910, to William A. and Harriette E. (Lolas) James in Hugoton.
She married Ace Jennings. He died April 15, 1956. She then married Robert Arnold. He died in February of 1969.
She was a nurse aid and worked at the Liberal hospital and private homes.
She is survived by one daughter, Doris Robinson, Dodge City, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Deloris Arlene Johnson and Dorothy Rugeley.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Paul's Funeral Home Chapel in Hugoton with Ministers Lawrence Johnson and Roger Bradshaw presiding.
Burial will be at Hugoton Cemetery.

ALVIN ERVIN GAUERKE
Alvin Ervin Gauerke, 83, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at Southwest Medical Center.
He was born May 17, 1922, to Erwin August and Martha Anna (Becker) Gauerke in Dorchester, Wis.
He married Vivian Genevieve Anderson March 25, 1942, in Dorchester. She died Oct. 14, 1993.
He graduated from high school in 1939 in Athens, Wis.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He retired from Yellow Freight as a truck driver.
He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Yellow Freight Retirees and Local Teamster Union No. 795.
He is survived by one son, Gerald A. Gauerke and wife, Beverly, Turpin, Okla.; one daughter, Sharon M. Dimitt, Johnson; five grandchildren, Dayle Jeanne Lorenson, Lynda Kae Robinson, Karen Lee Bartz, Geri Lynn Martinez and Clifford Alvin Gauerke; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one infant son; one brother, Enos F. Gauerke; and one sister, Mabel H. Verhulst.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul United Methodist church with the Rev. Jerry Odle and Duane Bartz presiding.
Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery.
