Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2003, at the First Baptist Church in Garber, Okla., with Rev. Wilford Wisel officiating. Interment will be in the Billings Union Cemetery. A memorial has been established with the Oklahoma Board of Nursing Peer Assistance Program. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Billings, Okla.

Jack Len Otipoby, 58, longtime Blackwell resident, died Thursday, May 1, 2003, in Integris Blackwell Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2003, at the Blackwell First Christian Church with Rev. Jeff Koch officiating. Interment will be in the Blackwell IOOF Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established with the First Christian Church Building Fund. Contributions may be made through Eastman National Bank, Newkirk or to the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller-Stahl Funeral Service, Newkirk.

Robert Edward "Bobby" Anderson, 38, Arkansas City, died Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at the Via Christi Medical Center - St. Francis Campus of Wichita. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2003, at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home with Pastor Vern Richerson officiating. Interment will be in the Parker Cemetery. A memorial has been established to help defray funeral costs. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City.

Mark William Ammerman, 44, Arkansas City died Thursday, May 1, 2003 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, with Rev. David Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in the Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington. A memorial has been established with the Arkansas City Baseball Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at the Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita. A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association.

Charlotte Ann (Pixley) Nichols, 65, of Colorado Springs, Colorado died Saturday, April 26, 2003 at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. Graveside funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2003 at the Riverview Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City.

Funeral services for Emily Tilda Christenson, 80, who died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2003 at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City. Officiating the ceremony were Rev. Danny Daniel and Rev. Joyce Daniel of the First Presbyterian Church of Arkansas City. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City.

Funeral services for Mark Steven "Steve" King, 48, who died Tuesday, April 22, 2003 in Wichita , were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2003 at the First United Methodist Church, Arkansas City. Officiating the ceremony was Pastor Gale Rider of the Mt. Zion Church of Arkansas City. Interment was in the Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas City.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City.

Funeral sevices for Jerry Goans, 68, who died Wednesday, April 23, 2003 in Wichita, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2003 at the Hawks Funeral Home, Arkansas City. Officiating the ceremony was Mr. Jesse Kindred. Inerment was in the Gueda Springs Cemetery, Gueda Springs.

Arrangements were under tthe direction of the Hawks Funeral Home, Arkansas City.

Marjorie Ann Bruce, 70, Arkansas City died, Saturday, May 3, 2003, at South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Arkansas City. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2003, also at the church. Interment will follow in the Parker Cemetery. A memorial has been established with the Sacred Heart Catholic School. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial for Everet Louis "Dutch" Mathewswho died Tuesday, April 29, 2003, were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2003, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father John Brungardt officiating. Interment was in the Silverdale Cemetery. Military Honors were by Spencer Ralston VFW Post No. 1254, Arkansas City, with Commander Clyde H. Hatcher and Chaplain Jack Fridley.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City.

Betty A. Bogart, 65, El Dorado, died Monday, May 5, , 2003, at Via-Christi St. Francis Campus in Wichita. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2003, at the First Southern Baptist Church, El Dorado. Cremation will be effected. A memorial has been established for the Betty Bogart Library Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Dora M. Grayum-Keehn, 92, Sapulpa, Okla., died Saturday, May 3, 2003, from a short bout with a brain tumor. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mobley-Dodson Lakeside Funeral Service, Sand Springs, Okla.

Wilbur Dwight Hughes, 72, St. George, died Sunday, May 4, 2003, at the Mercy Health Center of Manhattan. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2003, at the Severy Baptist Church in Severy, with Rev. Tony Pameticky officiating. Interment will in South Lawn Cemetery in Severy. A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Richard L. "Dick" Cannon, 72, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at his home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2003, at Swisher-Taylor & Morris Chapel, Winfield. Private family interment will be in the Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 p.m. Friday. A memorial has been established with the USD 465 Foundation and the Winfield Recreation Commission. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
