Eulah Nichols Long, 88,of KCK. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 6 at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave. KCK Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 1-2P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Lighthouse, or to Cancer Action, Inc. Mrs. Long died Wednesday, July 3rd, 2001 at Providence Medical Center. She was born April 11, 1913, in Rome, MO. and had lived in KCK since 1944. Eulah sold Avon for ten years. She was a Sunday School teacher and member for many years of the Covenant Baptist Church and above all she was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry T. and Nettie F. Nichols; 4 brothers, Lester, Herb, Francis, and Jack Nichols. Her husband, Raymond L. Long, died in 1982. Survivors include one sister, Lou Walthall, of Tuscon, AZ; one daughter Frances K., and husband, Walter L. Windscheffel; and one son, Donald G. Long; all of Kansas City, KS; 4 granddaughers; and 5 great grandchildren. We will all miss her.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Grandview Park Presbyterian Church . Paul was born April 6, 1918, in Tennis Point,, MO and had been in Kansas City area since 1936. He was a machinist/ tool & die maker for Shore Manufacturing for 50 years retiring in 1984 and he also worked at ACE Auto at 18th Street for a number of years. He was a member of Grandview Park Presbyterian Church. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII.He is survived by his wife, of 60 years, Clara Davis, of the home, 2 children John H. Davis, Coeuer d'Alene, ID, Paula Urquhart, Kansas City, KS, a grandson John Urquhart, Kansas City, KS sister Betty Sweem, Ellensburg, WA. Stan was born February 13, 1927, in Kansas City, KS and was a lifetime area resident. He had been an instrument operator at the Phillips Fairfax Refinery for 35 yrs, retiring in 1981. He was a Marine veteran of World War II and an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hachinsky in 1996. Survivors include 2 daughters & their husbands, Sharon & Gary Pattison, Basehor, KS, Susan & Don Harris, Woodland Hills, CA, 5 grandchildren Gretchen McCourt, Heidi Pattison, Lindsay Harris, Kelly Harris & Bailey Harris, 2 great grandsons Blake & Luke McCourt and his companion of 4 yrs, Lorraine Rankin.
