Helen Louise Barton
Helen Louise Barton, 80, of Yuma, Ariz., died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home. Mr. Wayne Robbins will officiate. Interment will follow in the Parker Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today. Helen was born Aug. 21, 1926, in Attica, Kan., to Donald and Mary (Potter) Sanberry. She married Elmo Barton on July 16, 1949, in Kiowa. The couple lived in Cleveland, Ohio, before settling in Arkansas City. In 1986, they moved to Yuma, Ariz., for retirement. Survivors include her husband, Elmo Barton, of the home; son, Keith Barton, of Plano, Texas; two brothers, Ted Sanberry, of Kiowa, and Doug Brown, of Overland Park; grandson, Zachary Barton, of Plano, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Ruth Fitzgerald.
A memorial has been established with Yuma Regional Home Health Care. Contributions may be made through the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home of Arkansas City.
Robert Charles (R.C.) Earlougher
Robert Charles (R.C.) Earlougher, petroleum consultant died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at Brighton Gardens, Tulsa. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007, in the chapel at Stanley's Funeral home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, 5115 S. Memorial, Tulsa Robert Charles Earlougher was born in Ulysses, Kan., in the midst of what is now the Hugoton Gas field, to Harry and Annetta Partridge Earlougher. He and his family moved to Arkansas City and he attended Arkansas City Schools and Arkansas City Junior College. He and a partner bought the Geologic Standards Company. Later, Chuck bought out his partner and changed the name of the company to Earlougher Engineering. Chuck also served as a special consultant to the City of Long Beach, Calif. for 35 years. In 1973, Earlougher Engineering became Godsey-Earlougher, Inc. and Chuck became chairman and senior consultant. In 1976, Williams Brothers Engineering Company bought Godsey-Earlougher Engineering and Chuck became chairman of the Petroleum Consulting Division and acted as senior consultant. Survivors include his son, Robert Charles Earlougher Jr., of Houston, Texas; daughters, Janet Hawkins, of San Diego Calif. and Anne O'Connell Malinowski, of Morristown, N.J.; four grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; four stepgrandchildren; and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren. Chuck was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Jeanne.

Lea Beth Maupin Meyer
Lea Beth Maupin Meyer, 46, life long resident of Newkirk, died Saturday, Jan 19, 2008, at the Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at St. Francis Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Vas and the Rev. Richard Beckman as celebrants. Interment will take place at a later time. A Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Miller-Stahl Funeral Chapel. As she requested, Lea was cremated. Lea was born April 2, 1961, in Ponca City. She was the daughter of Gary Robert and Elizabeth Ann (Wanko) Maupin. She owned her own beauty salon, The Head Shed. Lea drove for C.F.I. and later Martin. She entered into an independent company venture and drove until 2004 when she had to stop due to ill health. Survivors include her parents, Gary and Liz Maupin, of Newkirk; her godparents, Donald and Helen Caughlin, of Tonkawa; a brother, Jimmy Maupin of Newkirk; two sisters, Lisa Maupin, of Newkirk, and Brenda Choate, of Ponca City. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Thelma Maupin and John and Helen Wanko.
Memorial funds have been established with the American Heart Association and the Ponca City Humane Society. Contributions may be made through Eastman National Bank, Box 468, Newkirk 74647-0468. Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller-Stahl Funeral Service, Newkirk.
Donna Hill Mueller
Donna Hill Mueller, 76, formerly of Winfield, died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer. A family service has already taken place in Atlanta, Ga. Her remains have been returned to Ann Arbor, Mich., for final resting. She was born Donna June Hill, of Wellington, Kan., on Sept. 1, 1931, to Francis and Marshall Hill. Survivors include Phyllis and Raymond Potter, of Winfield, Anne and Patrick Brooks, of Atlanta Ga., Mari Kelley, of Houston, Texas, Gene and Nancy Mueller, of Ann Arbor, Mich., and five grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of the GA Cremation Society.
Harold L. (Silver) Lindly
Harold L. (Silver) Lindly, 77, Winfield, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-8 p.m. Thursday. The family will greet friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Born March 6, 1930, in Elk Falls, Kan., he was the son of lee and Opal (Olsen) Lindly. He owned and operated Lindly TV and Appliance until his retirement in 2000. Survivors include his sons, George Lindly and Ron, both of Winfield; daughter, Sharon White, Oxford; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Hoover.

John Edward Gamsjager
John Edward Gamsjager, 70, lifelong Newkirk resident, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at his home. A memorial service has been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at the First Presbyterian Church of Newkirk with the Rev. Ernest Miller officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. At his request, he was cremated. He was born July 25, 1937, in Winfield, the son of Charles Homer and Clara Louise (Barre) Gamsjager. He carried on the family dairy farm operation until 1959. He remained in agriculture, farming for a number of years, first working for himself, and later for others. He had also been employed by a pipeline and tank company. Survivors include one brother, David Gamsjager, of Yukon, Okla.; and three sisters, Margaret "Maggie" Olsen, of Giddings, Texas, Mary McMahon, of Yukon, and Nancy Oehrle, of Baton Rouge, La. He was preceded in death by one son, John Charles Gamsjager; his parents; a brother, Charles, Gamsjager Jr.

Dianna Jeanne Lloyd
Dianna Jeanne Lloyd, 62, Lawton, Okla., died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, in Marlow, Okla. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, at Cameron Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Langley, retired United Methodist pastor, officiating. Inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until 9 p.m. today and Thursday. Dianna Jeanne was born on June 29, 1945, in Newkirk, to Alvin Ketchum and Evelyn Adeline (Bryson) Wren. She was employed as a teacher for more than 30 years. She taught at every grade level from pre-kindergarten through freshman composition in college. She taught in Stillwater, Pawnee, and Lawton where she taught at Lawton High School, the Juvenile Detention Center, Roadback's Pathway Halfway House for Boys, Hillcrest Hospital, the STAR Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center, and Central Middle School, where she taught language arts and served as the school's Language Arts Department chairperson. Survivors include her son, Jason Lloyd, of Lawton, Okla.; two daughters, Jannet Burk, of Muskogee, Okla., and Cathi Goguen, of Lexington Park, Md.; a sister, Joyce Peters, of Lawton, Okla.; a brother, Ken Wren, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and aunts and uncles.

Carol Deane Lammon, 73, Wichita, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at Wichita Specialty Hospital. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, in the Kansas Veterans Cemetery
in Winfield. Born July 27, 1934, in Ponca City, she was the daughter of James Edward and Coral (Sidler) Hayes. She was employed at Wesley and St. Joseph Hospitals in Wichita and later at Singing River Hospital, as a unit clerk, in Pascagoula, Miss. Survivors include her sons, Bill Perry, Wichita; Bobby Bishop, California; Erik Day, Wichita; daughter, Cynthia Cole, Wichita; sister, Barbara Young, Pascagoula, Miss.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Timothy Reichenberger, 74, of Wellington, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at the Riverview Manor & Village in Oxford. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at the Hawks Funeral Home Chapel with Everett Reedy, officiating. Inurnment will take place at 2 p.m. in the Andale Cemetery
in Andale. A mass of memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wellington, with Father Andrew Seiler officiating. Cremation has been effected. Timothy was born May 18, 1933, in Andale, Kan., the son of Timothy Victor and Violet Stockman Reichenberger. He was an aircraft mechanic for over 56 years. He worked at Crystal Geyser in Calistoga, Calif. Survivors include his wife Emiko (Morio) Reichenberger, of Wellington; son, Timothy V. Reichenberger, of Wellington; daughter, Teri Camp, of Ohio; brothers, Marc Reichenberger, of Fair Oaks, Calif., Gary Reichenberger, of Reno, Nev., John Reichenberger, of Wichita, and Gerald Reichenberger, of Wichita; sister, Beverly Tackett, of Wellington; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bob Reichenberger.
