She was past president and oil secretary of the year for the Oil Secretaries Association, a member of Project Beauty/Botanica, Republican Women, Book View, and Daughters of the Nile, Zohar Temple.
Preceded in death by husband, Ralph.
Survivors, son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sharon of Derby; brothers, Gerald Bowman, John Bowman, both of Derby, George Bowman of Clearwater; grandchildren, Jason, Chris, and Michelle Whitted of Derby, Dyana Dokos and Cammie Carpenter of Denver, Colorado; four great grandchildren; nieces, Anne Lackey, Sherry Kragh, Lydia Gates, Susan Rhynard; nephews, Wayne and Brad Bowman.

Preceded in death by brother, Don Pray and sister, Marjorie Dailey.
Mr. Pray was a past president of the Wichita & Kansas Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors Associations. He also was a member of the Downtown Lion’s Club, Wichita Scottish Rite Body and the Midian Shrine.
Survivors: wife of 52 years, Marie; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Cindy Pray of Winfield, KS; daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Greg Ratay of Lake Zurich, ILL: Trish and Jerry Bittle of Richardson, TX; Janis and Curt Heinz of Overland Park, KS; ten grandchildren.

Coakley, Marie Lakme
Coakley, Marie Lakme', 89, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002. Rosary 7 p.m. Friday; Mass of the Resurrection 10 a.m. Saturday, both at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Mrs. Coakley received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Webster University in 1933 and a Masters of Arts in teaching from Wichita State University in 1965. She taught at St. Thomas Aquinas Grade School and West High School in Wichita. She was the secondary reading consultant for the Wichita Public Schools and taught teachers how to evaluate student reading ability at Wichita State University. She co-authored a reading evaluation tool for reading assessment. She and educator, Marg Meek were the first reading specialists in the Wichita Public Schools.
Mrs. Coakley was the first organization and development chairman for the Wichita Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and served as its president. She was a member of the Board of Directors for the Wichita chapters of Camp Fire Girls and Boys Inc. and the National Council of Christians and Jews.
She was president of the St. Joseph Medical Center Auxiliary and served as a member of the Board of Directors for St. Joseph Medical Center for six years.
She retired as the associate area vice president for Area VI of the American Association of Retired Persons in 1994 after 10 years of service to the A.A.R.P.
Mrs. Coakley was a recipient of the Bene Merenti Medal from Pope Pius XII in 1957 and is listed in Who's Who of American Women in 1957 and Personalities of the West and Midwest 1968. She was an Auxiliary member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Wichita.
Preceded in death by husband, John M. Coakley.
Survivors: sons, John Paul of Los Angeles, Peter of Wichita, Mark of Colorado Springs; daughter, Kate Springs of Denver; brother, Johnson Perez of Webster Groves, Mo.; sister, Bernadette Fehlig of Glendale, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Wichita, KS.
She was born October 26, 1910 to John and Magdalen (Sander) Wasinger in Victoria, KS. She married Perry Windholz May 8, 1935 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ellis, KS. She worked as a school teacher, homemaker, and finally as the executive housekeeper at Via Christi Hospital in Wichita, KS, retiring from there in 1975.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Amelia Von Lintel of Victoria, KS.
Survivors include her husband, Perry of Milledgeville, IL; son and daughter-in-law, James Elden and Judy Windholz of Milledgeville, IL; sister, Pauline Brungardt of Victoria, KS; brother and sister-in-law, Alvin and Kay Wasinger of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren and spouses, Craig and Kelly of Lutz, FL; Lori of Jacksonville, FL; Aaron and Caroline of Jacksonville, FL; Sarah of Milledgeville, IL; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Joshua, Benn, Hunter, and Kennedy; plus many nieces and nephews.

Moyer, Ralph E., 82, retired Beech Aircraft Corp. manager of aerospace engineering, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002.
Born November 12, 1919 in Maryville, Missouri

Mr. Moyer served in World War II as a Navy pilot, later retiring as a lieutenant commander.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Math and Physics from Marysville State College, Masters in Aeronautics from Annapolis Naval Academy and Professional Aerospace Engineering degree California Institute of Technology.
He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and enjoyed photography, golf and skeet shooting.
