WICHITA - Harriett K. Page, 85, of Wichita, formerly of Winfield, died July 31, 2000.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Presbyterian Church.
A memorial has been established with Trinity Presbyterian Church, 2258 Marigold, Wichita, KS 67204.

Page was born Nov. 23, 1914, in Winfield, to Mary (Romick) and Dr. F.A. Kelley.
A homemaker, she received a bachelor's degree in education from Southwestern College.
On June 11, 1939, she married Raymond Page in Winfield. He died June 22, 1998.
Page was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and Chapter EM of P.E.O. in Wichita.
Survivors include a daughter, Janet K. Santoscoy, Wichita; a son, Joe F. Page, Rose Hill; two sisters, Margaret Bumpas, Hot Springs, Ark., and Patricia Moreland, Sun City, Ariz.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Alyce Cavitte
Alyce V. Cavitte, 91, formerly of 1521 Manning, died Aug. 2, 2000, at Walnut Hill Nursing Center.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Swisher-Taylor & Morris Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Earnest McClure will officiate. A private burial will be in Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m. Monday until service time.
A memorial has been established with Second Baptist Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
Cavitte was born Sept. 14, 1908, in Winfield, to Jennie Belle (Britton) and Thomas John Cotton. She attended Winfield schools.
On June 30, 1938, she married the Rev. Floyd L. Cavitte in Arkansas City. He died March 26, 1967.
A homemaker, she worked for Mae Sonner for a few years after her husband's death.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Survivors include her friend and guardian, Pat Crawford, of Winfield and several nieces and nephews.
Lyman Crane
ARKANSAS CITY - Lyman S. Crane, 85, of Arkansas City, died Aug. 2, 2000, at the Presbyterian Manor Health Care Unit.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home. Jesse A. Kindred will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Crane was born Oct. 13, 1914, in Caldwell, to Mabel (Eshelman) and Walter Crane. He attended schools in the Sumner County area. As a young man he moved to Cowley County.
On March 19, 1939, he married Fern E. Fultz. She preceded him in death.
Crane farmed in Pleasant Valley Township for over 40 years. He worked part time at McFarland Gravel in the 1940s and '50s and as a mechanic for Gene's Repair in the '60s and '70s.
Survivors include a son, Roy Crane, Winfield; a brother, Everitt Crane, Arkansas City; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Danny Simpson
BOLIVAR, Mo. - Danny Edward Simpson, 50, of Bolivar, formerly of Winfield, died Aug. 1, 2000, in Texarkana, Ark.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Aug. 7 in Corinth Cemetery. The Rev. Mike Davidson officiated. Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.
Simpson was born Aug. 25, 1949, in Winfield, to Jo Annette (Redmond) and Francis D. Simpson. He was educated in Cassville, Mo.
On Aug. 12, 1994, he married Pauline Banister in Miami, Okla.
Simpson served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the National Guard. A truck driver, he was employed by Raycore Trucking Co. in Strafford, Mo. He had earlier been a firefighter for the City of Winfield.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Simpson, Bolivar, Mo.; a son, Daniel Simpson, Hutchinson; two stepsons, Cliff Zolman and Mike Zolman; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Boyle, Winfield, and Tammy Lee Smith, Bolivar; his mother, Jo Winston, Cassville, Mo.; a brother, Rick Simpson, Miami, Okla.; a sister, Sharon Simpson, Long Beach, Calif.; and five stepgrandchildren.
Merle Antisdel
Merle J. Antisdel, 86, of 716 Tweed, Winfield, died Aug. 6, 2000, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Miles Funeral Service. Burial will be in Blankenship Cemetery
near Rosalia.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Antisdel was born Nov. 13, 1913, in Wichita, to Lula C. (Sarles) and Alva B. Antisdel. He graduated from Cathedral High School in Wichita and attended Wichita State University.
In 1940 he married Helena Larson of Leon. She died in 1968.
In 1973 he married Gladys Sherwood Johnson in Wichita. She died in February 1993.
Antisdel was associated with Wichita Sheet Metal Supply Inc. for 38 years, retiring as vice president and operating manager. He also worked for the Wichita Fire Department for 29 years as assistant chief reserve. For 29 years he served with Sedgwick County Civil Defense.
In 1994 he became a resident at Cumbernauld Village. While there he was the fire safety coordinator.
Antisdel attended Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church in Wichita. Over the years, he was a member of the Wichita Manufacturers Club, a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, a travel chairman for the American Association of Retired Persons, a charter member of the Pleasant Valley Lions Club and involved with the Boy Scouts.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Harris, Wellington; two grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
A son, Robert Eugene Antisdel, died in 1963.
Alyce Cavitte
Services for Alyce V. Cavitte were held at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 7, 2000, in Swisher-Taylor & Morris Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Earnest McClure officiated. Burial was in Union Cemetery.
Musical selections included recordings of "Walk Around Heaven," by Beau Williams, "The Lord's Prayer," by Carol Hayden, and "I'm Going Away," by Walter Hawkins.
Honorary casket bearers were Larry McPherson, Harry Walker, Gary Greer, Larry Rankin, Orvan Johnson, Floyd Rankin and Steve Cochran.
A memorial has been established with the Second Baptist Church.
Marcia Larsen
Marcia Larsen, 47, of 519 E. 12th, Winfield, died Aug. 7, 2000, at her home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m.
A memorial scholarship fund has been established with the First United Methodist Church. Another memorial has been established with Hospice Inc. Contributions may be made at the church or funeral home.
Larsen was born Feb. 28, 1953, in Winfield, to Iris Jean (McAlister) and Nuel J. Hinegardner. She graduated from Winfield High School in 1971 and from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio, in 1976 with a bachelor's degree in Spanish and French.
She taught foreign languages at the high school level in Ohio for a year and at El Dorado from 1977 to 1979. In 1979 she moved to Omaha, Neb., and taught in the Millard, Neb., schools until 1990.
On July 25, 1987, she married Ed Larsen in Omaha. In 1990 they moved to Winfield where she taught Spanish and French at Winfield High School from 1990 to 1998.
Larsen was a member of First United Methodist Church and its Fellowship Class. In 1997 she traveled on a mission trip to Costa Rica on behalf of the church. She was also a member of the Walnut Valley Quilt Guild, the National Education Association and the Kansas City Puppetry Guild.
Survivors include her husband, Ed Larsen, a son, Matt Larsen, and a daughter, Chelsea Larsen, all of Winfield; a stepdaughter, Cristin Larsen, Salt Lake City; two stepsons, Mark Larsen and Dan Larsen, both of Villisca, Iowa; her father, Nuel J. Hinegardner, Winfield; and two brothers, Jim Hinegardner, Topeka, and Craig Hinegardner, Winfield.
Eileen Spangler
EL DORADO - Eileen Spangler, 75, of El Dorado, died Aug. 6, 2000, at her home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the Udall cemetery.
A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society. Contributions may be made through Kirby-Morris Funeral Home, 224 W. Ash, El Dorado, KS 67042.
Spangler was born March 9, 1925, in Harvey County, to Vivian (Carter) and William Scheffler. She had been employed as a telephone operator and dispatcher and had lived in El Dorado since 1985.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Peabody and the Women's Auxiliary. She had also been a Cub Scout leader and taught vacation Bible school.
Survivors include a son, Harold Spangler, Rose Hill; five daughters, Mary Crank and Charlotte Sammons, El Dorado, Beverly Williams, Douglass, Vevia VanVickle, Udall, and Susie Turner, Colorado Springs, Colo.; four brothers, Robert Scheffler, Wichita, Bill Scheffler, Moundridge, Keith Scheffler, Peabody, and Gene Scheffler, Newton; five sisters, Vivian Smith, LeAnn Newell, Betty Scheffler and Judy Duggins, all of Newton, and Kay Lincoln, Arizona; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A son, Harry Spangler, preceded her in death.
