He made lifetime friends with customers and fellows workers because his 'handshake' was his word! Glen was legally blind from his early 30's yet the word 'cannot' was never part of his vocabulary. The stockyards knew him as the 'legally blind' cattleman who could 'feel' a steer with his hands and tell more accurately it's condition than ten good sighted men with 20 eyes! He became totally sight impaired in 1990. He was dearly loved by his family and all who knew him, faithfully supported his family in everyway! He is sorely missed by his family and friends!
The family sincerely appreciates all who attended to his needs at Trinity Nursing for their faithful, consistent care and attentiveness to please him. Vitas Hospice became his caring family in the last few months faithfully, graciously and tirelessly gave him excellent care making him as comfortable as possible in his last days.
