Heptig, Frederick Gerald, age 65, died July 29, 2004. Funeral mass was said August 2 at the Sacred Heart Church with burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, under the direction of Timmons Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife Carolyn, his mother Maxine Heptig, 1 brother, several nieces and nephews.

Beck, Andy, age 87, died July 27, 2004. He had operated Beck’s Used Cars until his retirement due to ill health. Services were held July 30 at the Springhill Cemetery, under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife Alice, 1 stepson, 1 grandson, 1 sister.
Clary, D. Dale, age 90, died July 26, 2004. He had a TV repair shop at his home. Services were held July 30 at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery
under the direction of Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. He is survived by 2 daughters, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 1 brother.

Lansdown, Lois Jean, age 79, a resident of Emporia, Ks and formerly of Buffalo, died Oct. 4, 2004. She was a homemaker. Services were held Oct. 7 at the Timmons Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Buffalo Cemetery. She is survived by 2 sons, 2 daughters, 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
Brooks, Sr., Troy Kenneth, age 82, died Oct. 3, 2004. He was a retired restaurateur. He is survived by his wife Opal, 3 sons, 5 daughters, 1 sister, 1 half-sister, numerous adopted children, his precious dog Midge, 35 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.
Avila, Julian Molina, age 24, died Oct. 3, 2004 due to a vehicular accident. He worked in the Core room for Acme Foundry. Services were held Oct. 8 at the Penwell-Gabel Graves Chapel with burial to be held at a late date in Veracruz, Mexico.

in Caney. He is survived by 1 brother, 1 sister-in-law, 3 nieces, 4 granddaughters, 11 great-grandchildren.
Glogau, Emil, age 77, of Topeka, former resident of Parsons, died Nov. 21, 2004. He was retired from the Santa Fe Railroad. A memorial service was held Nov. 26 at the Aldersgate Village in Topeka.
