ROBERT BURTON IKARD
ELKHART -- Robert Burton Ikard, 91, died Feb. 20, 2000, at Morton County Care Center in Elkhart.
He was born March 5, 1908, to Robert Emmett and Pearl (Burton) Ikard in Clovis, N.M.
He married Erma O'Neal Aug. 7, 1932 in Felt, Okla. She preceded him in death November 1980.
He was a resident of Elkhart since 1980. He was a public school teacher and a farmer.
He was a member of the Methodist Church in Elkhart, Panhandle State University Alumni Association, Texas County Retired Teachers Association, and the I.O.O.F. Lodge.
Other survivors include three sons, Charles Ikard, Kingfisher, Okla., Robert Ikard, Littleton, Colo., and Dr. Tom Ikard, Stillwater, Okla.; one daughter, Karen Ferguson, Creede, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Harrell Chapel, Elkhart, with the Rev. Billy Ramage presiding.
Burial will be at the Bertran Cemetery
in Felt, Okla. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m.
Friends may call from until 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Harrell Funeral Home in Elkhart.
The family suggests memorials to Morton County Care Center or to a charity of the donors choice.
BENNIE INEZ WOODS
PERRYTON -- Bennie Inez Woods, 81 died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000, in Augusta, Ga.
She was born Feb. 1, 1919, to Benjamin Alexander and Texie Ann (Muse) Johnson in Comanche, Texas. As an infant, she travelled by covered wagon with her family to their new home in Perryton, Texas.
She married Raphel Easter in 1937 and they had two children. He died in 1947.
After his death, she moved to California in order to be able to support her two children. She went to business college nights and worked fulltime in an office during the day. After five years and a California earthquake, she decided to move her family back to Perryton.
She married Eugene "Woody" Woods in 1955. They moved to Beaver in 1958 when Woody took a job with O.G. Henderson at the B & J Store. She went to work for Olman Overton, the Beaver County Treasurer, as a deputy in 1958, and worked there till her retirement. After retirement, she continued working as the treasurer for the schools of Balko and Turpin for several years.
She became seriously ill while visiting her son in Augusta, Ga. The illness took its toll on her and after returning to Beaver, she decided that she should move to Augusta where she could live in a Senior Citizens Apartment Complex.
She was very sociable and never failed to tell anyone that she loved her Lord, her family and her church family.
Survivors include one son, Benny Easter and wife, Cathy, and one daughter Carmen Waggoner and husband, Wayne; one brother, Eugene Johnson and wife, Rita; five grandchildren and their spouses, Lynn and Tim Ivey, Chris and Carla Easter, Keith and Raquel Easter, Robby and Robyn Waggoner, and Kevin and Martha Waggoner, 16 great-granchildren, two sisters-in-law, Eva and Pauline; one brother-in-law, Herb; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Beaver, with Dr. Don Rogers presiding.
Burial will be around 4 p.m. at the Ochiltree County Cemetery
in Perryton, Texas, under the the direction of Clark Funeral Services, Oklahoma.
ALBERTA MEYERS
ULYSSES -- Alberta Meyers, 87, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, in Ulysses.
She was born Feb. 9, 1913, to William Aaron and Liva Lee (Batchelor) Meyers in Hendley, Neb.
She was a former resident of Hutchinson and had been a resident of Western Prairie Care Home, Ulysses, since 1979.
Survivors include one brother, Harry A. Meyers, Norton, and one sister, Ennis E. Smith, Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by one brother, William A. Meyers Jr.; and three sisters, Ethel Gilbert, Elva McLeland and Edith W. Meyers.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call until 5 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home, Ulysses.

AGNES HILL
DODGE CITY -- Agnes Hill, 97, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, at Woodlands Health Care Center in Woodlands, Texas.
She was born March 24, 1902, to Frank L. and Florinda (Yadon) Green in Pratt.
She married C.R. Hill in 1932. He preceded her in death in 1965.
She was a homemaker. She received a degree in pharmacology from the Denver Institute of Pharmacology in 1931.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Garden Club, and a charter member of the Dodge City Saddle Club, all of Dodge City. She was active in the P.T. A. from 1941 to 1935.
Survivors include one son, William F. Hill, Spring Texas; one daughter, Patricia Mullkin, Colorado Springs, Colo.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City with Dr. Michael F. Gardner presiding. Cremation had taken place. A private family inurnment followed at Greencrest Cemetery, Dodge City.
The family suggests memorials to the First United Methodist Church, Dodge City.
JACK B. CULLISON
MOSCOW-Jack B. Cullison, 74, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at Satanta District Hospital in Satanta.
He was born Jan. 8, 1926, to Dell Alfred and Opal (Cook) Cullison in Coffeyville.
He married Thelma Taff Sept. 24, 1954, in Clayton, N.M. She survives.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. After he was discharged from service he moved to the Moscow area in 1946 where he was a farmer and rancher.
He loved his family and grandchildren. His hobbies were his cattle, gardening and flowers. He was a very giving person.
He was a member of the Satanta American Legion Post No. 276, the Texas Cattle Association, the National Cattle Association, and S.W. Royalty Association.
Other survivors include one son, David Cullison and wife, Lorri, Moscow; three brothers, Carlye Cullison, Springfield, Mo., Woodrow Cullison, Hutchinson, and Jim Cullison, Moscow; one sister, Imogene Rupert, Hugoton; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Tara Cullison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Basil Cullison, and three sisters, Mardell Light, Virginia Davenport, and Wyona Mayfield.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Moscow Township Cemetery
in Moscow. The funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Haskell County Funeral Home in Sublette.

J.R. ADAMS
GUYMON - J.R. Adams, 68, died Friday, Feb. 25, at Memorial Hospital in Texas County.
He was born Feb. 10, 1932, to Eva (Hinther) and William James Adams in Buffalo, Okla.
He married JoAnn Burris July 3, 1967, in Raton, N.M. She survives.
He graduated from Buffalo High School in 1950 and attended Oklahoma A & M, now Oklahoma State University.
He began his highway construction career with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and later went off to serve as supervisor for Broce Construction. In 1957 he founded J.R. Adams Inc., now Highway Contractors, Inc. of Guymon.
He purchased and operated the LaMesa Park horse racing track in Raton, N.M. from 1974 to 1986. He was an enthusiastic owner of many championed racehorses and maintained interests in the oil, cattle and banking business.
He was a member of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church.
Other survivors include two daughters, Debbie Adams Kerl, Guymon, and Ashley Adams Whipple, and husband, Max, Guymon; four grandchildren, Jake Kerl and wife, Liz, San Antonio, Texas, Kelly Kerl, Eric Kerl and Joanna Whipple all of Guymon; one great-granddaughter, Tatum Kerl, one step-daughter, Jalonda Mason, Whiteboro, Texas; and three step-grandchildren; Shawn Mason and wife, Gloria, Guymon, Christy Warren, Hico, Texas, and Josh Baber, Whitesboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Elizabeth Chapman and Kathern Cruzan; and one brother, James Adams.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Victory Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Chaffin presiding.
Burial will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery
under the direction of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.

PAULINE M. GARRISON
PLAINS - Pauline M. Garrison, 79, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
She was born Feb. 26, 1920 to Otto and Zola M. (Mathews) Borth in Meade.
She married George Henry Arnold July 28, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pa. He died May 17, 1949. She married Chester L. Garrison Sept. 20, 1952, in Meade. He survives.
She graduated from Plains High School in 1937 and from Kansas University in 1941.
She was a homemaker and a former home economist in Edwards, Finney and Meade Counties, and served as 4-H judge for several years. She lived in Meade County most of her life.
She was a member of United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, both of Plains, and of the Order of the Eastern Star's Liberal Chapter.
Other survivors include one son, Roy Arnold, Liberal; one daughter, Pamela Eaves, Athens, Ala.; two step-sons, Dennis Garrison, Lawrence, and Lee Garrison, Leavenworth; two brothers, Jim Borth, Plains, and Dean Borth, Meade; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Jay Otto Borth.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Plains, with the Rev. Vernon Maelzer presiding. Friends may call from noon until 8 p.m. today and from 9-11 a.m. Monday at Fidler-Orme Mortuary in Meade.
Burial will be at the Graceland Cemetery
in Meade.
