HELEN JOYCE ISAAC
MEADE -- Helen Joyce Isaac, 62, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at Western Plains Regional Hospital.
She was born April 18, 1937, to Ben H. and Anna (Voth) Pankratz at Inola, Okla.
She graduated from Oklahoma Bible Academy of Enid in 1955, attended Grace College of the Bible for one year and graduated from Northeastern State College at Tahlequah, Okla.
She was a homemaker, a former teacher and a part-time employee of KJIL Great Plains Christian Radio at Meade.
She was a member of the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church of Meade.
She married Melvin Isaac July 7, 1961, at Inola, Okla. He survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Brian and wife, Pam, Perry, Okla., Warren and wife, Amy, of Jenks, Okla., and Nolan and wife, Kristin, Rogers, Ark.; three sisters, Lois Cameron, Choteau, Okla., Beth Humphrey, Rose, Okla., and Marna Watkins, Inola; and one granddaughter, Amber Isaac, Perry.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church in rural Meade, with the Rev. Lavern Smith presiding.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fidler-Orme Mortuary, Meade. Burial will be at the E.M.B. Church Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to KJIL Great Plains Christian Radio, in care of the mortuary.
SHANE MICHAEL RODRIGUEZ
HUGOTON -- Shane Michael Rodriguez, 3 months, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.
He was born Sept. 30, 1999, to Eric Carlos and Crystal Ann (Maestas) Rodriguez. They survive.
Other survivors include one sister, Yasmine Rodriguez of the home; and grandparents, Lorenza Maestas, Hugoton, Juan Marin, Hugoton, and Lydia Saucedo, Hugoton.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Assembly of God Church, Hugoton, with the Rev. Robert Bailey presiding.
Burial will be at Moscow Cemetery.
VICTOR N. HAHN
GARDEN CITY -- Victor N. Hahn, 72, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at his home in Garden City.
He was born Jan. 6, 1927, to George and Minerva (Myers) Hahn at Great Bend.
He grew up in Kinsley and attended grade school there. He moved with his family in 1942 to Garden City, where he lived since that time. He graduated from Garden City High School.
He married Pauline E. Bayer April 18, 1948, in Willowdale. She survives.
He worked for 23 years a a delivery operator for Santa Fe Trail Transportation Co. He then worked for five years for the Garden City Co-op, and later worked for 10 years as a shipping and receiving clerk at St. Catherine Hospital. He retired in 1989.
For the past 40 years, he coordinated a provided a lawn care service in Garden City. His hobbies included his yard work, dancing and playing cards.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Garden City. He had served as parish council member, St. Mary School board member and St. Mary Eucharistic minister. He was a member of Eagles Lodge, Garden City, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, No. 2795, Garden City, and had been involved with Boy Scouts.
Other survivors include four sons, Bernard Hahn, Liberal, Dennis Hahn, Ardmore, Okla., Ernest Hahn, Fort Collins, Colo., and Leon Hahn, Garden City; four daughters, Darlene Shaver, Emporia, Jane Lightner, Pierceville, Donna Oberley, Dodge City, and Nancy Robinson, Valley Center; a brother, Wendell Hahn, Fayetteville, Ark.; two sisters, Elnora Butler, Garden City, and Marie Unruh, Cheyenne Wells, Colo.; 46 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kenneth Hahn; four brothers, Laurence, Ellis, Francis and Lester "Hap" Hahn; one sister, Doris Webb; and a great-grandson, Levi Lightner.
Vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m. today at St. Mary Catholic Church, Garden City, with Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus rosary following.
Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Garden City, with the Rev. James E. Baker officiating.
Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Garden City.
Friends may call until 6 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home, Garden City.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Mary School Endowment Fund, in care of the funeral home.
GERALDINE NORMAN
FOWLER -- Geraldine "Gerry" Norman, 94, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at the Minneola District Hospital in Minneola.
She was born June 27, 1907, to Arthur Dennis and Lois LaVancha (Byrns) Coon in Meade.
She married Howard Norman Oct. 4, 1935, in Kinsley. He died Oct. 25, 1994.
She had been a lifetime resident of Meade County.
She graduated from Meade High School in 1925. She later graduated from Pittsburg State Teachers College in 1935.
She taught school in country schoolhouses and at the Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico. She later retired from teaching.
She was a homemaker.
She was baptized at the Episcopal Church in Meade and later attended the United Methodist Church in Fowler. She was a substitute Sunday school teacher in Fowler.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, where she served as Past Noble Grand, and was sewing leader for the Be Busy 4-H Club, both in Fowler.
Survivors include two sons, David Norman, Nickerson, and Mike Norman, Fowler; one daughter, Pat Zwickle, Hays; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Christine Weber, on Feb. 17, 1986; her parents; one
brother, Justin Coon; and two sisters, Elma Eliason and Betty Hardesty.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church in Fowler with the Rev. Justin Weber presiding.
Burial will be at the Fowler Cemetery
in Fowler.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Fidler-Orme Mortuary in Meade.

HAROLD R. DUDREY
CORSICANA, Texas -- Harold R. "Raymond" Dudrey, 74, died Saturday, July 7, 2001, at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana.
He was born June 22, 1927, in Kismet.
Survivors include one son, Tim Dudrey, Corsicana; two daughters, Diane Ferrell and Loretta Dudrey, both of Corsicana; one brother, David Dudrey, Wallace, Neb.; four sisters, Joan Bruner, Rogers, Ark., Ina May Davis and Cleo Stoll, both of Kismet, and Jane Stoll, Liberal; and one grandchild, Ashley Ferrell, Corsicana.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Dudrey.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. July 10 at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Chapel in Corsicana with John Bates presiding.
Burial was held at Resthaven Memorial Park in Corsicana.
Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Corsicana was in charge of arrangements.
LEO J. CARR
ULYSSES -- Leo J. Carr, 87, died Sunday, July 22, 2001, at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses.
He was born Oct. 28, 1913, to Sam and Nellie (Guilliams) Carr in Canadian, Texas.
He married Wannie V. Wooton May 11, 1942. She died Jan. 8, 1998.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a sergeant in the 14th Major Transportation Division, and he operated in combat in the European Theater.
He was employed by El Paso Natural gas for 32 years. He retired in Roswell, N.M.
He was a member of West Alameda Church of Christ in Roswell, where he served as a deacon for the congregation.
He moved to Ulysses in 1998.
Survivors include one daughter, Jan Lewis, Ulysses; one brother, Gene Carr, Jal, N.M.; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. (Mountain time) Thursday at Memory Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery
in Roswell, under the direction of West Alameda Church of Christ with a military honor guard.
The family suggests memorials to either the West Alameda Church of Christ or to the Ulysses Church of Christ, both in care of Ballard Funeral Home of Roswell, N.M. or Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant, Ulysses, KS 67880.
RONALD J. ROBINSON
PLAINS Ronald "Buddy" Joseph Robinson, 47, died Monday, July 23, 2001, at his home in Plains.
Funeral services are pending and will be announced by Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Inc., in Ness City.
WARREN S. MOON
HUGOTON Warren Sandy Moon, 80, died Wednesday, July 25, 2001, at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.
He was born Sept. 24, 1920, to Sandy and Rachel (Robinson) Moon in Hugoton.
He married Aletha Woods June 19, 1949 in Colorado Springs. She survives.
He was a lifetime resident of Hugoton, and his hobbies included woodworking.
He was in the U.S. Army Officers Candidate School during World War II, but was released upon his father's death.
He was an active member of the First Christian Church in Hugoton.
He was also a member of the Kiwanis Club as past president and lifetime member.
He was a past president of the Stevens County Fair Board, and active in civic organizations.
Survivors include one son, Lloyd W. Moon, Hugoton; two daughters, Rosemary Pillar, Columbus, and Sharon Reaves, Toms River, N.J.; one brother, Benjamin Moon, Kansas City, Mo.; five sisters, Lettitia Stewart, Lawton, Okla., Estella Thompson, and Faye Jackson, both of Kansas City, Eva Garden, Cleveland, Ohio, and Earnestine Alpough, Los Angeles; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister; and two brothers, Alonzo Moon, and Minorlee Moon.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Hugoton with the Rev. Robert Bailey presiding.
Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton.
