OMAHA, Neb. -- George A. Harmdierks, 70, former Liberal resident, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, in Duncan, Okla.
Survivors include one son, Mike Harmdierks and wife, Joni, Omaha; five daughters, Wendy Benedict and husband, Mark, Dallas, Texas, Jolena Wyer and husband, Terry, Oklahoma City, Deanna Cogswell and husband, David, Gretna, Neb., Cynthia Harper and husband, Randy, Duncan, and Elizabeth Freeman and husband, Jim, Omaha; 12 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann.
Funeral services will at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Omaha.
Burial will be at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park in Omaha.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m.

RHONDA S. WESLEY
HUGOTON -- Rhonda Sue Wesley, 46, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, as the result of a vehicle accident near Hugoton.
She was born July 21, 1956, to Verl E. and Murl Burrows in Hugoton.
She was a lifetime resident of Hugoton.
She was a homemaker.
Her hobbies included sewing and painting.
Survivors include her father, Hugoton; two sons, James Thomas Wesley, Jr., Garden City, and Joseph Lee Wesley, Garden City; one daughter, Abby Sue Wesley, Garden City; one brother, John Burrows, Montana; one grandson, Christopher Drake Wesley; and numerous other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church in Hugoton with the Ministers Jeff Aenk and Robert Bailey presiding.
Burial will be at Hugoton Cemetery
in Hugoton.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton.

HORACE C. BELL, JR.
HUGOTON -- Horace "Buck" Chester Bell, Jr., 56, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, as the result of a vehicle accident near Hugoton.
He was born Dec. 11, 1945, to Horace Chester and Mildred Doylene (Norton) Bell in Lodi, Calif.
He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was a mechanic and had worked for Premier Alfalfa Inc. in Hugoton.
His hobbies included gardening, raising flowers, doing yard work, fishing and hunting.
Survivors include four sons, Jeffery Paul Mitchell, Beaver Dam, Ky., Daniel Lee Bell, Narrows, Ky., Frankie Bell, Allen, Okla., and Shannon Wayne Bell, South Korea; two daughters, Balynda Mae Brown, Cannon Falls, Minn., and Mildred Susan Styles, Beaver Dam; one sister, Antonia Carol Boswell, Galt, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton with the Minister Robert Bailey presiding.
Burial will be at Hugoton Cemetery
in Hugoton.

FLOYD TAYLOR
Johnson -- Floyd Taylor, 62, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at Stanton County Hospital in Johnson.
He was born May 26, 1940, to Randolph and Edna (Creason) Taylor in Bowman, Ark.
He was a longtime resident of Lamar, Colo. He had been a resident of Johnson since 2000.
He was a truck driver.
His hobbies included camping and fishing.
Survivors include three sons, Floyd Robert Taylor, Lamar, Larry Don Taylor, Boise City, Okla., and Brad Michael Taylor, Julesburg, Colo.; one daughter, Cynthia Lee Wilbur, Julesburg; two brothers, David Randolph Taylor, Humphrey, Neb., and Kenneth Douglas Taylor, Attica, N.Y.; two sisters, Betty Eckhardt, Johnson, and Shirley Harrell, Russellville, Ark.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Johnson with the Rev. Randy Conway presiding.
Graveside and burial services will be at 2 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery
in Lamar.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson.

HAZEL B. HILL
FOWLER -- Hazel B. Hill, 92, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, at Fowler Nursing Home in Fowler.
She was born Nov. 14, 1909, to William Henry and Isabelle (Smart) Adams in Sawyer.
She married Holmes William "Budd" Hill April 20, 1926, in Dodge City. He died Feb. 28, 1987.
She was a resident of Fowler since 1926.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of First Christian Church and Rebekah Lodge, serving as past Noble Grand, both in Fowler.
Survivors include two sons, Gene Hill, St. Joseph, Mo. and Larry Dean Hill, Amarillo, Texas; one daughter, Letha Gumpenberger, Fowler; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Doc, Bob, Joe, Walter "Woody" and George Adams; three sisters, Johanna Osborne, Viola Borcher and Barbara Bachman; and one great-great-granddaughter, Randa Rayne Clark.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Christian Church in Fowler with the Pastor Alan Snyder presiding.
Burial will be at Fowler Cemetery
in Fowler.

SHIRLEY R. DILLMON
HUGOTON -- Shirley R. Dillmon, 66, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, at her home in Hugoton.
She was born Jan. 10, 1936, to Robert and Thelma (Farmer) McIlrath in Hugoton.
She attended and graduated high school in Hugoton.
She was a lifelong resident of Hugoton.
She was owner and operator of Le's Flowers for a number of years.
Her hobbies included spending time with her family and friends, gardening, and taking care of her fish pond and pets.
Survivors include her mother, Hugoton; two sons, Jeff Mills and Jamie Mills, both of Hugoton; three daughters, Tanya Anderson, Garden City, Jill Dillmon, Dallas, Texas, and Julie Starkey, Montezuma; four sisters, Lavon Holt, Liberal, Joan Spikes, Retha Wagner and Delores Bullard, all of Hugoton; and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; and one infant grandson, Jeremy Anderson.
Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hugoton Cemetery
in Hugoton with the Rev. Robert Bailey presiding.
Burial was at Hugoton Cemetery.

JOHN L. HAYES
EAGLE NEST, N.M. -- John "Jack" L. Hayes, 84, former Liberal resident, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, in Colorado Springs, Co.
He was born Feb. 23, 1918, in Kansas City.
He married Ruth M. Bernhart Feb. 23, 1918. He married Bettie Jan Iba in December, 1944. She preceded him in death. He married Irene (Smith) Koehn in March 1983.
He was the retired former owner of Southwest Gas and Equipment Company in Liberal, which he ran from 1954 to 1971.
Survivors include five daughters, Linda S. Buck, Sublette, Peggy S. Craik, Temple, Texas, Bettie A. Stoddard, Albuquerque, N.M., Mary A. Lasley, Colorado Springs, and Janet L. Hayes, Tijeras, N.M.; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two cousins, Ray Hettic and Terry Maxwell, both of Liberal.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sept. 6 at Eagle Nest Baptist Church in Eagle Nest.
Burial was at Elizabeth Town Cemetery
in Elizabeth Town, N.M.
