Ella Earls, 82, of Latonia, died Friday at Rosedale Manor Nursing Home in Latonia. Arrangements are pending at Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Covington.

Rev. Harold England, 81, of Dayton, died Saturday at his home. He was a retired driver for Dole Citrus Fruit, Melbourne, Fla. He was a member of Teamsters Local 110, Cincinnati.

Survivors include sons, Harold England Jr., of Dayton, Bill England and Bob England, both of Okeana, Ohio; daughters, Beverly Morris of Taylor Mill, and Wanda Stiver of Dayton; a sister, Flossie Allen of Salem, Ind.; 30 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home, Grants Lick. Visitation will be there from 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Mentor.

Albert F. Guy Jr., 67, of Florence, died at 8:15 p.m. Friday at his home. He was a sheet metal mason with Quality Supplies, Cincinnati, and a member of First Baptist Church of Newport. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers International Union, Cincinnati.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Schiller Guy; sons, David Guy of New Richmond, Ohio, and Tom Guy of Florence; daughters, Constance Thompson and Margaret Peggi Liver, both of Covington, Catherine Hawkins of Williamstown, Deborah Perkins of Crittenden, Linda Archuletta of Japan and Victoria Guy Wilhelm of Florence; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Edith Hewling, 94, of Highland Heights, died at 11:15 a.m. Saturday at Lakeside Place Nursing Home in Highland Heights. She was a retired graphotyper with Addressograph-Multigraph Corp., Cincinnati, and a member of First Baptist Church, Newport. Her husband, Oakley Hewling Sr., died in 1959.

Survivors include sons, Oakley Hewling Jr. and Gary Hewling, both of Florence; 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Bellevue. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.

Aloysius C. Kayser, 81, of Cincinnati, died Sunday at St. Francis-St. George Hospital, Cincinnati. He was a builder and developer.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Luckman Kayser, formerly of Covington; sons, Ken Kayser and Keith Kayser; daughters, Karen Banach, Linda Czirr and Lois Kayser; brothers, Joseph Kayser, Victor Kayser and Erwin Kayser; a sister, Agnes Kayser; and eight grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Victory Church, Cincinnati. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Vitt, Stermer and Anderson Funeral Home in Cincinnati. Burial will be in St. Joseph New Cemetery, Cincinnati. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Disease Association, 644 Linn St., Cincinnati, Ohio, 45203, or the church building fund, 808 Neeb Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45233.

George Elmer Long, 64, of Okeechobee, Fla., formerly of Boone County, died Thursday at his home. He was a retired director of pupil personnel in the central office of the Boone County Board of Education.

Survivors include several cousins.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Lakes Funeral Home, Berea. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery.

Patricia G. Maxwell, 50, of Bromley, died at 12:07 p.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a clothing sorter with the St. Vincent DePaul Society, Crescent Springs.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew M. Maxwell; sons, Andrew L. Maxwell of Cincinnati, Richard Maxwell, Patrick Maxwell and Christopher Maxwell, all of Ludlow; daughters, Melinda Maxwell and Shelly Maxwell, both of Ludlow; sisters, Emily Baxter of Bellevue, Margaret Brewster of Bromley, Shirley Godsey and Phyllis Moore, both of Florence; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, Ludlow. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ohio, 41014.

Janice Lee McIntosh, 72, of Florence, died at 6:18 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Chester Arthur McIntosh, died in 1989.

Survivors include daughters, Janice Lee Martin of Independence and Charlene McIntosh of Florence; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.

Robert Bruce Olding, 60, of Case Lake, Minn., formerly of Covington, died Wednesday at his home. He was a retired Air Force master sergeant and a farmer. He was manager of the Eagles and American Legion clubs in Bemidji, Minn. He was a commander of Jack Kimball American Legion Post 284, Cass Lake.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Olding; a son, Mark Olding of Cass Lake; daughters, Diane Sevenich of Ridgefield, Wash., Mary Bull of Wilkinson, Minn., Michelle Lesetmoe of Cass Lake and Kathleen Bushie of Bemidji; sisters, Gail Craft and Ruth Ann Rector; brothers, Wallace Olding, Keith Olding and Clayton Olding; and 18 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial was this morning at St. Charles Church, Cass Lake. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery in Cass Lake. Thomas-Dennis Funeral Home, Cass Lake, is handling arrangements.

Edith Dunlap Polking, 92, of Independence, died at 2:25 a.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a homemaker and a member of Nicholson Church of Christ. Her husband, Joseph G. Polking, died in 1986.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean B. Smith of Milford, Ohio; sons, Thomas L. Polking of Florence and Raymond L. Polking of Independence; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Glenn Irby Schmidt, 27, of Covington, died at 4 a.m. Saturday at University Hospital, Cincinnati, of a stab wound.

Survivors include his father, Emil Schmidt of Ft. Wright; sons, Glenn Schmidt and Chris Schmidt, both of Covington; brothers, Emil Schmidt, Terry Schmidt and Aaron Schmidt, all of Covington, and Melvin Schmidt of Petersburg; and a sister, Edna M. Schmidt of Ft. Wright.

Services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.

Louis F. Simmins, 74, of Latonia, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Simmins; sons, Allen J. Simmins of Highland Heights, Robert L. Simmins of Dayton, Edward J. Simmins of Monument, Colo., Thomas C. Simmins of Steamboat Springs, Colo., and James D. Simmins of Hamilton, Ohio; a daughter, Mary Louise Spencer of Castle Rock, Colo.; a brother, Bob Simmins of Cresson, Pa.; a sister, Ruth Lavery of Boonetown, N.J.; and 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Ft. Wright.

Edward Robert Taglauer, 77, of Maitland, Fla., formerly of Northern Kentucky, died at 1:15 a.m. June 10 at an Orlando, Fla., hospital. He was a retired electronic engineer with Martin Marietta Co., and a treasurer and member of the board of trustees for Maitland Public Library. He was a volunteer with Harry P. Lue Gardens and an usher with Winter Park United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Alice E. Taglauer; daughters, Lois Wilson of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Joyce Green of Orlando and Gretchen Krivoshia of Lawrence, Kan.; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Highland Cemetery Chapel, Ft Mitchell. Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Ida Lou Easton Woodie, 89, of Amelia, Ohio, formerly of Gallatin County, died Saturday at Eastgate Health Care Center in Batavia, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Her husband, Jack Woodie, died in 1959.

Survivors include sisters, Marie Miller and Loraine Ritchen, both of Amelia; and a brother, Harold Easton of Warsaw.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Carlton-Lowder Funeral Home, Warsaw. Visitation will be there from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery.
