He was the son of Raymond and Louise Scott Webb of Harrodsburg. He was the father of Jennifer and Jamie Webb, both of Harrodsburg. He is also survived by his longtime friend Kay Catlett Grey.

He was a member of the Southside Christian Church, attended Calvary Baptist Church, he was a Modine Model Shop Technician, a member of the National Guard and Masonic Lodge #777. He loved restoring Corvettes, farming, and John Deere tractors.

She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Annie Wright Murphy. She was the widow of Maurice Wilham. Mrs. Wilham is survived by her daughter Mrs. Eddie (Violet) Drury of Harrodsburg, her son Bobby Wilham of Harrodsburg. Two sisters Sue Jackson of Harrodsburg and Pearl Meredith of Harrodsburg. Two grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Earl Wilham, a stepson Carlos Wilham, three brothers: George, Eugene and Robert Murphy. One sister Mary Devine and one grandson Robert Dayle Wilham.

She was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Welcome Sunday School Class, and she was a homemaker.

Born April 12, 1926 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late James Abraham and Francis Lorraine White Baker and the husband of Buena Sallee Baker. Additional survivors besides his wife include: one son: Ronnie Maurice Stratton, Daytona Beach, Florida; four brothers: James Baker, Harry Arnold Baker, Robert Lee Baker and Kenneth Howard Baker, all of Lexington; two sisters: Francis Baker Taylor and Ernestine Oei, both of Lexington; two grandsons: Mark Thomas Stratton his wife Sheri and their son: Tyler of Danville, and Michael Christopher Stratton, U.S. Air Force and one granddaughter: Stephanie Louise Stratton, Daytona Beach, Florida and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son: Joey Douglas Baker.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in World War II and the Korean War and he was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. And the American Legion.

He was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church where he was a member of the Faith, Hope and Love Sunday School Class and a senior deacon. An associate member of First Baptist Church where he was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class in Fort Myer Beach, Florida. He was a retired Corning Glass Works employee where he worked for thirty years, a farmer, avid motor scooter rider and fisherman.

Besl, Raymond A.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Frank J. And Clare Bertke Besl. He was the husband of Carol Ruthemeyer Besl. Additional survivors besides his wife include: three daughters: Deborah A. Strieter, Pheonix, Arizona; Theresa M. Collier, Hamilton, Ohio and Jill Besl, Danville; one son: David P. Besl, Beavercreek, Ohio; two brothers: Frank Besl and Robert Besl, Cincinnati, Ohio and two sisters: Mary Gandenberger, Cincinnati, Ohio and Audrey Saunders; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Alfred and William Besl.

He was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran.

He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, a former president of Besl Transfer Company, former owner of Besl Corp and Dobosco and had been a director of the North Side Bank and Trust Co, all in Ohio.

She was the widow of Howard Venson Burns. Born Oct. 8, 1910 in Mercer County she was the daughter of the late John and Ema Dora Claunch Burton. Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Marvin (Viola Fern) Grigsby Harrodsburg. One son John Clark Burns Mercer County. One granddaughter Mrs. Perry (Debra Ann) Harp Harrodsburg. Two great grandchildren Emily Harp and Dylan Harp both of Harrodsburg. She was preceded in death by two sons Logan and William Jerome (Billy) Burns. One brother William Harvey Clark. Three sisters Hallie Marie Buzzard, Ruby Nevius and Myrtle Scrogham.

The husband of Juanita Royalty Cannon, he was the son of the late Ernest and Bertie Emma Leonard Cannon. Additional survivors besides his wife include: one son: Lt. Col. Robert Leo (Dianne) Cannon, Alexandria, VA; four daughters: Sandra (Marion Ray) Inman and Rita (Arnold) Baker, Harrodsburg, Karen (John) Lay, Canton, Georgia and Kathy (Mitchell) Roe, Winchester; two brothers: Forrest Cannon and Andrew Cannon, Harrodsburg; three sisters: Hazel Arnold; Danville, Lorraine Kurtz, and Geneva Stakelin, Lexington; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother: Charles Cannon and two sisters: Martina Nooe and Violet Meredith.

He was a retired farmer and Corning Glass Works employee where he was a supervisor for 12 years and worked for 30 years and a member of Bethel #1 Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She was the widow of William Andy Carey. She was the daughter of the late George M. And Athena Votaw Champion. . Carey is survived by her daughter Georgie Anne (Granville) Sherrow of Burgin, two sons Ronald (Shirley) Carey of Concord, North Carolina, and Kenneth A. (Judy) Carey of Burgin. Three grandchildren, two step grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, and two step great great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was retired from Mercer Dress and was a member of the Burgin Baptist Church.

Survivors include; 3 step-sons: Steve Withrow, Lexington, Mark Withrow, Caldwell, Ohio and Mike Withrow, Paris; one sister: Jesta Arnold, Harrodsburg; six Grandchildren; one niece: Dixie (Sonny) Norris; one nephew: Clark Conn, Adairville, Kentucky and one great-nephew: Phillip Norris, Harrodsburg. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Karen Clark and one sister: Judy Clark Conn.

World War II Veteran of the Air Force.

He was the owner of the Marshall Clark Auto Sales in Lexington; a 30 year member of the Immanual Baptist Church, Lexington; had received his 50 year Merit Pin as a Mason and was a World War II Veteran of the Air Force.

He was the owner and operator of Freeman Builders in Lexington for 35 Years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stuart and a lifetime member of the St. Johns Masonic Lodge in Salvisa.

He attended the Cleveland Institute of Electronics

He was a member of the Overland Church Of Christ, a former employee of Hyatt Regency and Florida Tile and had attended the Cleveland Institute of Electronics.

Survivors include: one son: John Wayne Rider, Harrodsburg; two step-sons: Harold Coyle, Lancaster and Donnie (Melissa) Coyle, Parksville; one daughter: Mary (Kenny) Coyle, Harrodsburg; three step-daughters: Joyce (Chris) Casey, Junction City, and Kathy (James) Fallon, Danville and Shirley (Ronnie) Lindsey, Gravel Switch; two half-brothers: Gerald Reynolds and David Reynolds, Washington County; one half-sister: Rita Reynolds, Washington County; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister: Viola Reynolds and two brothers: Eugene and Burdette Reynolds.

She was an inspector for Corning Glass Works of Harrodsburg, a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church and liked to attend yard sales and collect Avon.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Gilvin.

She had attended Fugazzi College.

She was a homemaker, member of Burgin Christian Church.
