In 1994, he became the first trainer to win all three major championships at the Lexington Junior League Horse Show since Garland Bradshaw in 1957. Some of Mr. Moore's innovations in the show ring include patent leather saddles and a bowing horse. Mr. Moore was the founding president of the United Professional Horsemen's Association, a director of the ASHA and a member of the World Championship Horse Show Hall of Fame. He also was one of the sport's well-respected judges, USA Equestrian said. He moved with his mother to the Chicago area as a child and began riding and grooming horses at Christenson Stables. He became manager of Valley View Farm in Illinois when he was 16, winning the first of more than 200 world championships that same year.
