Kimberly Dawn Jude, age 44 of Harrodsburg, KY died at her residence in Harrodsburg, KY on October 6, 2009 following a long bout with rheumatoid arthritis. She was born August 23, 1965 in Williamson, WV.

Kimberly was a member of Williamson High School class of 1983 and went on to attend Commonwealth College in Virginia. Kimberly worked as a store supervisor for McCrory Stores. Kimberly is a member of the Church of Christ and was also a member of the Salvisa Ruritan Club. She was an avid collector of glass chickens.

Kimberly is survived by her husband of 26 years, Tony L Jude Jr. of Harrodsburg and her two children, Kimmie (Mike) Perkins of Pleasureville, KY and Matthew Jude of Harrodsburg, KY. Other survivors are her mother, Betty Coleman of Chattaroy, WV, father Dwight Justice of Chattaroy, WV and brothers Buddy Scott of Hardy, KY, David Justice of Woodlawn, TN and Mike Justice of Chattaroy, WV as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Special friends: Mama Jean Lockwood and Mama Rosie Brasington.

Visitation will be held from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, October 9, 2009 at 2pm at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with burial service to follow at Bohon Christian Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville, KY 40423 and would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.

Norris, Dixie Arnold

Dixie Arnold Norris, 69, wife of Ethbert “Sonny” Norris died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born January 6, 1940 in Washington County she was the daughter of Jesta Clark Arnold and the late Loyd Thurman Arnold. Dixie was the secretary for Kentucky Finance where she worked for twenty six years. She was member of the Carpenters Christian Church where she served on the Camp Calvary Board of Directors. Dixie also enjoyed movies, cooking, reading, home interior decorating and collecting dolls.

Survivors in addition to her husband and mother are one son: Phillips (Terri) Norris, four grandchildren: Rachel Norris, Caitlin (Justin) Johnson, Jeremy Johnson and Tracy Cruz.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Carpenters Christian Church with Greg Warren and Ken Ward officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Marion Rogers, David Johnson, Wayne Green, John Sims, Andy McCrystal, Jim Hicks, Jim Barrett and Justin Johnson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chigger Flynn, Delmer Warren, Ken Daggett and Maurice Baker.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009 and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the Carpenters Christian Church.

Juanita Royalty Cannon, 81, of Danville, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the Hospice Care Unit at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty four years, Leo Leonard Cannon. Born January 8, 1928 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Guy W. and Gertrude (Bryant) Royalty. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald F. Royalty and one sister, Joyce Yates.

She was a member of the Bethel No.1 Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a devoted and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include a son, Robert Leo Cannon and his wife, Dianne, of Richmond, VA; four daughters, Sandra Inman and her husband, Marion, of Harrodsburg, KY, Rita Votaw of Harrodsburg, KY, Karen Lay and her husband John of Canton, GA, Kathy Roe and her husband Mitchell of Winchester, KY; one sister, Jane Kimsey of Louisville, KY and one brother, Dan Royalty and his wife Mary of Hanover, IN. Additional survivors include eleven grandchildren: Leslie Henderson of Reno, NV, Rob Cannon of Providence George VA, Chris Votaw, Aimee McGinnis, Leonna Lay and Melissa Votaw of Harrodsburg, KY, Kate Norris and Jenna Lay of Canton, GA, Emily Brown of Lexington, KY and Allison Roe of Winchester, KY, Fifteen great-grandchildren: Erin and Zach Henderson, Ryan Cannon, Hannah, Delaney and Brody Votaw, Nathan Ross and Andrew McGinnis, Stetson, Alyssa and Wyatt Inman, Michael Coffman, Colin Lay and Jonathan Norris and several nieces and nephews.

Rev. James Byrd will conduct the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home in Harrodsburg, KY with burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery, in Harrodsburg with Gary Yates, Bobby Riley, Frank Royalty, Steve Royalty, Greg Kimberlin, Tom Kimsey, Terry Kimsey and Matt Utley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Rick Royalty. Family and friends may call at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2009.

Henry Thomas Sanders, 73, of Burgin, died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born May 1, 1936 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Cabell and Lottie Riley Sanders. He was a farm worker, had attended the Arnold Baptist Church in Lexington, and was a Cincinnati Reds and U.K. fan.

Survivors include six brothers: J.C. Sanders of Danville, Joe (Glenna) Sanders of Burgin, Roy Lee (Beverly) Sanders of Burgin, Douglas Sanders of Burgin, Roger (Vivian) Sanders of Lexington and Gilbert (Julie) Sanders of Harrodsburg. Two sisters: Tina (Kenneth) Whitehouse of Danville, and Kitty (Bill) Webb of Nicholasville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: G.W. and Zack Sanders and two sisters: Wanda Pearl Sanders and Della Edwards.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Dr. Kenneth Whitehouse and Bro. Ralph Neal officiating. Burial will be in Shawnee Run Baptist Church Cemetery with Steve Sanders, Bruce Sanders, Brent Sanders, Stanley Sanders, Roy Lee Sanders, Jr., Billy Sanders, Jeff Whitehouse, and Jay Allen Webb serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:00 a.m. Thursday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Charles S. Doll, Jr., 84, husband of Carolyn Freedlund Doll of Harrodsburg died Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Survivors in addition to his wife are two sons: C. Stanley Doll, III of Jeffersonville, IN and Timothy Joseph Doll of Louisville, KY, two daughters: Linda (Patrick) Doll Bourne of Somerset KY and Patricia (Marty) Doll Zutt of Lexington, KY, six grandchildren: Adam and Caroline Bourne, Stanley and Anne Marie Doll, Lindsay and Lauren Zutt, one sister: Nancy (Edward) Doll Winter of Poway, CA. and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A private family graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the Burgin Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Tim Noel officiating

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2009 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Kevin R. Perkins, 52, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington. Born December 18, 1956, he was the son of Margot Perkins of Harrodsburg and the late Smith Voris Perkins, Jr. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran where he served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nemitz. He was an avid horseman, fisherman, and loved riding and working on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He last worked as a Rigger for Rogers Brothers in Largo, Florida.

Besides his mother, Kevin is survived by three children: LeeAnn Parson, Slade Perkins, and Seth Perkins all of Stanford, and one brother Smith Voris Perkins, III of Harrodsburg, one niece Stephanie Bailey and one nephew Aaron Bailey.

He was preceded in death by two sisters Melissa Lyn and Grace Ann Bailey.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Mark Thompson officiating. Burial with military Honors will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with Smith Perkins, Slade Perkins, Ron Hungate, Brennan Sexton, Mike Dean, Terry Dean, Jimmy Gibson, and David Gibson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be LeeAnn Parson, Seth Perkins, Jack Pearson, Gary Caton, Roc Moore, Jesse Spaulding, Marvin Cocanougher, Kendall Patton, and members of the Goodwill Sunday School Class of Harrodsburg Christian Church.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 12:00 noon Sunday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. Coffman, Ronnie

Ronnie Thomas Coffman, 61, husband of Donna Shearer Coffman died Monday, September 21, 2009 at his residence. Ronnie was born August 23, 1948 in Rugby Tennessee; he was the son of the late Linzie and Ruby Bertram Coffman. Ronnie was a truck driver and enjoyed gardening and yard sales.

Other than his wife, survivors include five children: Betty Ann Coffman and Tommy ( Leann Carr) Coffman both of Harrodsburg, Michelle, Michael and April Coffman all of Louisville, three step-children: Kimberly (Gene) Pendygraft, Kenny and Don (Amanda) Adkins both of Junction City, thirteen grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Ronnie is also survived by one brother: Jimmy (Tina) Coffman of Lawrenceburg and five sisters: Cookie (Billy) Conner, Diane (Terry) Parnell and Connie (Darty) Hart all of Harrodsburg, Gail (Dan) Burzawa of Florida and Renee (Danny) Johnson of Burgin. Several nieces and nephews and the mother of his children Mary Betty Coffman also survive.

Ronnie is preceded in death by one niece Brandie Richardson.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Larry Holbrook and Larry Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Terry Parnell, Darty Hart, Don Burzawa, Clint Coffman, Eric Coffman and Jim Newby serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Adkins, Don Adkins and Kimberly Pendygraft.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2009 and after 7:00 a.m. Thursday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Anna M. Tincher, 82, widow of Rex B. Tincher, Sr., passed away Friday, September 18, 2009 after a long battle with emphysema. She was the daughter of the late Eli and Nettie Durbin of Irvine, KY. She was born in the Pryse community of Estill County, moved to Lexington, and later settled in Salvisa, Kentucky She was a retired store owner and homemaker and the mother of thirteen children.

Survivors include ten children: Sandra Tincher of Richmond, VA., Debra (Shawn) Myrick of Pleasanton, Kansas, Kelly (Matt) Moberly of Salvisa, Tina (Rodney) Tincher of Owenton, Rex B. Tincher, Jr., of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Johnny (Maria) Tincher of London, England, Joe (Betty) Tincher of New Delhi, India, Tim (Rose) Tincher of Austin, Texas, Paul (Diane) Tincher of Nagoya, Japan, and Patrick (Erica) Tincher of Salvisa. Thirty-nine grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three children: Patricia, Rebecca, and Kevin Tincher.

A graveside service will be held 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Tincher Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to attend.

Geraldine Crouch, 80, of Burgin, widow of Joe Lawrence Crouch died Sunday, September 13, 2009 at the Norton’s Hospital in Louisville. Geraldine was born July 16, 1929 in Delmer Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Ethel Burton. She was the supervisor of the Blazer Hall Cafeteria on the University of Kentucky Campus and attended the Burgin Church of God and enjoyed raising flowers.

Geraldine is survived by two sons: Lawrence D. Crouch and Billy Joe Crouch both of Harrodsburg, three daughters: Judy Duncan of Jacksonville Florida, Linda Parker of Nicholasville, Kentucky and Tammy Jones of Burgin, Kentucky, one brother: Sonny Burton of Somerset Kentucky, three sisters: Fostine Kenney, Katheline Spencer both of Somerset Kentucky and Eardine Dean of Nicholasville Kentucky. She also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Irvine officiating. Burial will be in the Burgin Memorial Gardens with Alan Robbins, Steve Sims, Justin Jones, Corey Jones, Joseph Collins and William Robinson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Gibson, Chris Duncan, Carl Duncan and Rodney Stine.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2009 and after 7:00 a.m. Friday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Ralph Kenneth Baker 66, husband of Rhonda Shewmaker Baker of Harrodsburg, died Friday Sept. 11, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Mercer County April 6, 1943 to the late John D. and Sallie Belle Coyle Baker. A veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Shelby Heating and Air Conditioning, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting.

Additional survivors include: a daughter Susan Watts of Harrodsburg. Four brothers Donald Ray Baker of Burgin, Jim Baker, David Lee Baker and Ronnie Baker all of Harrodsburg. Two sisters Corene Humfleet and Irene White both of Harrodsburg. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

One brother Raymond Baker preceded him death.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009 at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Queener officiating. Interment with military Honors will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jered Scott Baker, Adam White, Kevin Good, Bob Richmond, Josh Broce, and Rodney Raley. Honorary pallbearers will be James Allen Baker, Earl Wayne Baker, and Blair Pittman.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, and after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville, KY 40423.
