Jack Frederick Bienz, 50, of Independence, died at 5:13 p.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a self-employed contractor and an Air Force veteran.

Survivors include a daughter, Jackie J. Wayman of Independence; sisters, Jane Westergerdes of Salamonia, Ind., Kathleen Stencer of Florida and Deborah Sexton of Geor gia; and a brother, John Bienz of Portland, Ind.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation will be at Hillside Chapel, Cincinnati.

Marcella Bogart, 77, of Newport, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital East, Ft. Thomas.

Arrangements are pending at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Newport.

William Russell Clark, 74, of Newport, died at 12:50 a.m. Sunday at Highlands of Ft. Thomas nursing home in Ft. Thomas. He was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Mae Clark; a daughter, Marsha Clark; a son, Michael Clark; a stepdaughter, Carol Weston of Cincinnati; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Northern Kentucky, 1403 Alexandria Pike, Ft. Thomas 41075.

Amy Belle Kinman Cox, 91, of Laguna Hills, Calif., formerly of Northern Kentucky, died at 12:30 p.m. June 24 in Laguna Hills. She was a retired housekeeper with Cincinnati Gas & Electric. Her husband, Enoch Cox, died in 1946.

Survivors include a daughter, June McCoy Parsell of Laguna Hills, Calif.; a son, Dale Haven Cox of Holland, Mich., six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Southside Baptist Church, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Jonesville Cemetery. Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Lemira Edith Curtis, 90, of Mt. Olivet, died at 3 a.m. Saturday at Columbia Hospital, Maysville. She was a former mail carrier in Robertson and Bracken counties, and a member of Mt. Olivet First Christian Church. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, Walter Curtis, died in 1965.

Survivors include a daughter, Charlotte Middleton of Cincinnati; a sister, Jean Hord of Sardis; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Palmer Funeral Home, Mays Lick. Visitation will begin there at noon. Burial will be in Shannon Cemetery, Mason County.

Lillian Goode, 60, of Independence, died at midnight Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. She was a retired clerk with Wadsworth Electric Co., Covington, and a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Independence.

Survivors include her father, James Goode of Independence; brothers, Burbin Goode of Erlanger, William Goode of Cape Coral, Fla., and Don Goode of Safety Harbor, Fla.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Lora Bell Readnour Helphinstine, 91, of Petersburg, died at 9 a.m. Saturday at her home. She was a retired nurse and a home hospice worker. Her husband, James Helphinstine, died in 1981. Services will be at noon Tuesday at Connley Bros. Funeral Home, Latonia. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger. Charles J. Marksberry, 77, of Florence, died at 10:50 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Florence Christian Church. He was a member of Ralph Fulton VFW Post No. 6423, Elsmere, and a member and finance officer with American Legion Post No. 4. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Martin Marksberry; daughters, Carol Powell of Louisville and Lori Hendricks of Independence; a son, Chuck Marksberry of Tampa, Fla.; sisters, Thelma Swango of Florence, Norma Meirose and Mary Roberts, both of Cincinnati, and Libby House of Warsaw; a brother, Estle Marksberry of Florence; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 401 E. 20th St., Covington 41014.

Dorothy Riddinger, 74, of Kenwood, Ohio, formerly of Boone County, died Friday at Bethesda Hospice, Blue Ash, Ohio. Survivors include her mother, Lois Gaines of Florence.

Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be there at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Petersburg Cemetery.

Nancye Marie Ryan, 84, of Maysville, died Friday at Columbia Hospital in Maysville. She was a nurse with Hayswood Hospital and Denham Clinic, both in Maysville, and a member of Orangeburg United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Carwin Ryan; daughters, Phebe Davenport and Barbara Dunaway, both of Eagle River, Ark.; a stepson, Alva Allen Ryan of Dallas; and a sister, Helen Hord of Mason County.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Brell and Son Funeral Home, Maysville. Burial will be in Maysville Cemetery.

Sylvia Satterwhite, 92, of Florence, died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Latonia. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star. Her husband, John William Satterwhite, died in 1994.

Survivors include sons, Harold Satterwhite of Worthville and Howard K. Satterwhite of Florence; daughters, Jenny Schwartz of Verona and Joyce Parsons of Florence; a stepdaughter, Ruth Cobb of Hobe Sound, Fla.; a brother, Elbridge Castleman of Anderson, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.
