Deborah Ruth Reed Mitchell, 55, of Harrodsburg died Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Deborah was born August 6, 1954 in Nicholasville, she was the daughter of Martha Lear Doolin and the late James Luther Doolin.
She was an employee of Hitachi and a Baptist.
The one thing that Deborah loved to do most was to spend time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Deborah is survived by two daughters: Heather (Brian) Neighbors of Stanford and Lynette (Eric) Shafer of Berea, one brother: Ronnie Doolin of Harrodsburg and three grandchildren: Lilyanne and Jacob Neighbors and Lucas Shafer.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Chaplain Gary Story officiating.
Burial will be in the Bellevue Cemetery
in Danville with Cory Stigerwald, Brandon Smith, Kevin McMichael, Daniel Barrett, John Griffin, Brent Sallee and Dilland Harp serving as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Bacon Moore, Dr. Mohammad Shahzad, Edward Fisher, Lucas Connor Shafer, Lilyanne Olivia Neighbors, Jacob Redding Neighbors, Ty Smith, Alivia Smith and Kendall Smith.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Mary Willis Young, 75, widow of Harry Young, died Sunday, April 11, 2010 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born July 19, 1934 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late William Howard and Mary Smith Allen.
She was a retired cook having worked at Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Beaumont Inn, Ann’s Family Restaurant, and Pioneer Restaurant and was a member of the St. Peter A.M.E. Church.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting, spending time with her family, reading her Bible, and singing the Gospel.
Survivors include four daughters: Tonya McGhee of Lexington, Aquila Young of Harrodsburg, Francine Jones of Harrodsburg, and Arthenia Douglas of Lexington.
Six sons: Melchizedeke Young of Danville, Bartholomew Allen of Harrodsburg, Emmanuel Young of Danville, William Arthur Allen of Lexington, Jeremiah Young of Versailles, and Bobby Charles Allen of California.
Seven sisters: Pinky Young of Indiana, Caroline Allen of Arizona, Francis Allen of Indiana, Niecee Allen of Arizona, Terry Allen, and Vanessa Allen of Louisville.
One brother Gary Allen of Indiana, thirty grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by one daughter Elizabeth R. Jones, three brothers: Walter, James Lee, and Bobby Allen, and two sisters: Ella Allen and Ann Young.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the St. Peter A.M.E. Church with Rev. Ralph Smith and Bro. Rico Floyd officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery
with Danny Young, Thomas Young, Albert Douglas, Michael Harris, Winfield Williams, and Bentley Jones serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the St. Peter A.M.E. Church.

Miriam Kuechle Schoening, 85, widow of Clarence Raymond Schoening, died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation.
Born May 26, 1924 in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Gustav and Flora Emma Eichoefer Kuechle.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Danville.
Survivors include her three daughters: Bonnie Schoening of Harrodsburg, Linda (Jonathan) Hammel of Nashotah, WI., and Taj (Jim Sayers) Schoening of Milwaukee, WI.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Samantha Schoening, Natasha Hammel, Zachariah Hammel, Josiah Hammel, Alexis Kaikini, Austin Hammel, Kathryn Sayers, and Jeremy Sayers.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2010 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Danville.

Maxine Tucker Wilson, 79, of Danville died April 7, 2010 at the Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation.
Born January 3, 1931 Maxine was the daughter of the late Emmett and Ida Tucker.
She is survived by three sons: Darrell, Jeffrey and Decha Craig.
No funeral services are scheduled at this time.

Eddie Ray Pittman, 50, husband of Margaret Fowler Pittman, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at his residence.
Born July 6, 1959 in Mercer County, Eddie was the son to the late Andrew C. and Sarah Lyons Pittman.
He was a self employed builder until he became disabled.
He was a member of the New Beginnings Community Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his ATV with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Eddie is survived by two daughters: April (Chad) Troute and Ashley Pittman, two step-daugthers: Natash (Lynn) Davis and Amanda (Nathan) Black, one brother: Caroll (Barbara) Pittman, one sister: Patricia (Bruce) Baker, six grandchildren: Austin Griffin, Carter Peyton, Payton Fauth, Matthew Black, Andrew Black and Emma Black. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Eddie was preceded in death by one sister Levita Pittman and two brothers, Leroy and Robert Pittman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2010 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. John Kessler and Hughes Jones officiating.
Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery
with Chad Troute, Andy Griffin, Terry Colvin, Gary Milburn, Nathan Black and Lynn Davis serving as pallbearers.
Eddie’s grandchildren will be serving as honorary pallbearers.

Christine Sims Broughton, 90, widow of Cecil Broughton, died Monday, March 29, 2010 at the Mercy Residential Hospice in Knoxville, TN.
Born September 15, 1919 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Lawson and Nellie Weatherford Gibson Sims.
She had worked in sales for Federated Department Stores, was a member of the Glen Este Baptist Church, and was very active in W.M.U.
Survivors include one son Cecil Wayne (Beverly) Broughton of Lenoir City, TN, nieces and nephews: Geraldine (Bud) Green, Howard (Charlotte) Fallis, Kenneth (Phyllis) Taylor, her cousin Georgia Hoover, and a number of great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Vicki Ray officiating.
Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery
with Mark Green, Kevin Green, Kirk Fallis, Sean Green, Brian Ray, Steve Fish, and Jason Fish serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Irene Faye Pendergraft Murphy, 64, widow of Donald Murphy, died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.
Born October 11, 1945 in Marion County, she was the daughter of the late George and Lucille Followell Pendergraft.
She had worked at Wal-Mart as a cashier for thirteen years, was a member of the Bradfordsville Christian Church, and enjoyed camping, boating, and collecting Barbie Dolls.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law Peggy Murphy Hill and Clifford A. Hill of Richmond.
Two step-sons: Donald H. (Angie) Murphy and Terry L. Murphy of Springfield.
Two sisters: Margaret L. Weston of Indiana, and Sue Pendergraft of Whitley City.
Two grandsons: Bradley A. Hill of Richmond and Michael L. Murphy and his wife Sara A. Murphy of Berea.
Three step grandchildren: Amanda Jo Murphy, Daniel Murphy and Jessica Murphy and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Murphy, one son William Murphy, one brother Walter Pendergraft, twin sister Corene M. Long, sister Virginia Pendergraft and one grandson Matthew Shawn Hill.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Heneisen officiating.
Burial will be in Peters Cemetery
in Mackville with James McKinney, Bill Hackworth, Robbie McGuffin, Cody Curtsinger, Cody Gibson, Rob Wescott, and Ty Gibson serving as active pallbearers.
