Calvin Lawrence Combs, 48, of Glencoe, died Friday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a heavy equipment operator with Lonkard Construction Co. in Florence, a member of Ten Mile Baptist Church in Gallatin County, and an Army veteran of the Vietname War.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Combs; a son, Mike Delehanty Combs of Milton; daughters, Becky Webster of Verona, Jessie Barteram of Glencoe and Carmon Noel of Florida; a brother, Melbert Ray Combs of Glencoe; sisters, Jill Sharon and Lois Combs, both of Glencoe; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Carlton-Lowder Funeral Home, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Napoleon Cemetery.

Kenneth Lee Doggett, 78, of Falmouth, died Saturday at his home. He was a retired mechanic with Pendleton County Schools and a member of Antioch Mills Christian Church in Harrison County, Woodmen of the World Lodge No. 611 in Falmouth and Mount Vernon Cemetery Board. He was a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Dye Doggett; a son, Bill Doggett of Lexington; a daughter, Janice Doggett Dyche of Lexington; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Antioch Mills Christian Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 tonight at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Pendleton County. Memorials are suggested to Antioch Mills Christian Church Building Fund, Cythiana, Kentucky 41031.

Billy R. Gabbard Sr., 48, of Covington, died at 6:15 a.m. Saturday at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Gabbard; sons, Daniel Gabbard and Billy Gabbard Jr., both of Covington, Troy Gabbard of Dayton; a daughter, Tina Fancher of Florence; his father, Roy Gabbard of Covington; a brother, Lee Gabbard of Charleston, S.C.; sisters, Bridget Stepanian and Michelle Gabbard, both of Covington; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Catchen Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 tonight at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati.

Seldon Hall, 74, of Covington, died at noon Saturday at Lakeside Place Nursing Home, Highland Heights. He was a self-employed carpenter and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Hall; sons, Mike W. Hall of Florence and David S. Hall of Fort Mitchell; a daughter, Janet L. Meadows of Tollesboro; a brother, A. C. Hall of Dry Ridge; sisters, Bea Anderson and Callie Turner, both of Jackson, Helen Turner of Newport and Sue Patton of Tipp City, Ohio; and three grandchildren. A son, Gary L. Hall, was serving in the Marine Corps and has been missing in action since 1975.

Services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Catchen Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Alpha Herald, 76, of Crittenden, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Center, Edgewood. She was a homemaker and a member of New Macedonia Regular Baptist Church, Newport. Her husband, Joe Herald, preceded her in death.

Survivors include brothers, Jesse Herald of Grants Lick, Buck Herald of Highland Heights and Matthew Herald of Harrison, Ohio; and sisters, Anna Baker and Burnetti Baker, both of Alexandria.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at New Macedonia Regular Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 tonight at the church. Burial will be in Buck Herald Cemetery, Breathitt County.

Lola Jump Jones, 93, of Taylor Mill, died at 3:32 a.m. Saturday at Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton. She was a homemaker, the former operator of Jones' Service in Grant Co. and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Grant County and the Williamstown Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 301. Her husband, Floyd Jones, died in 1985. Sons, Harold Roberts and Howard Roberts, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.

Jason P. Kramer, 20, of Petersburg, died in an auto accident Saturday morning 3 1/2 miles west of Burlington on Kentucky 18. He was a clerk with the Kroger Co. in Burlington.

Survivors include his parents, Gary and Brenda Kramer of Petersburg; a brother, Steve Kramer of Latonia; grandparents, Lorraine Brautigan of Covington, and Aleen and Paul Kramer of Florence; and a great-grandmother, Ann Goshorn of Covington.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Burlington Cemetery.

James Lea, 79, of Lakeside Park, died of cancer at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at his home. He was a self-employed television repairman, having gone into business for himself after working for the Knodel-Tygrett Co. in Cincinnati.

Mr. Lea served in the military intelligence department of the War Department during World War II. After the war, he went into the jewelry business and repaired appliances before working on televisions. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Fort Mitchell, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Flenniken Lea; sons, Jim G. Lea of Florence, Gerald Lea and Mark Lea, both of Edgewood; a sister, Marilou Lea of Flatrock, Mich.; and six grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Pius X Church, Edgewood. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger. Entombment will be in St. Mary Mausoleum, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Kentucky 41014; or American Cancer Society, 6612 Dixie Highway, Suite 2, Florence, Kentucky 41042.

Charles "Pete" Alexis Marsh, 62, of Florence, died Friday at Mount Washington Care Center, Cincinnati. He was a retired truck driver with PIE Trucking Co., Cincinnati, an elder with Florence Church of Christ and a Marine Corps veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys Marsh; sons, David J. Marsh of Bradenton, Fla., Danny J. Marsh of Union, Dennis J. Marsh of Hebron and Darrin J. Marsh of Middletown, Ind.; a brother, Richard Marsh of Cincinnati; sisters, Patricia Campbell of Cincinnati and Georgiana Gaunt of Bright, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.

Marvin O. Morris, 66, of Corinth, died at 11:59 p.m. Friday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a former serviceman with Burrough's Electronic Corp., a member of Lystra Church of Christ and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. His wife, Elizabeth Ballard Morris, died in 1988.

Survivors include sons, David Wayne Morris of Odessa, Fla., and Jerry Allen Morris of Williamstown; a daughter, Debra Brown of Corinth; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Lystra Church of Christ, Williamstown, Kentucky 41097.

Patrick J. Murphy, 52, of Fort Thomas, died Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a certified public accountant with Northwestern National Insurance Co., and a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Fort Thomas, where he sang in the church choir. He was a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs and the Institute of CPAs.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Murphy; sons, Andy Murphy and Dan Murphy, both of Fort Thomas; his parents, Francis Steve and Dot Murphy of Bellevue; sisters, Linda Krebs of Alexandria and Sheila Murphy of Bellevue; and brothers, Butch Murphy of Brandon, Fla., Gregg Murphy and Michael Murphy, both of Bellevue.
