Bradford H. Buckshorn, 91, of Signal Mountain, Tenn., died Saturday at his winter home in Lakeland, Fla. He was retired from the Norfolk Southern Communications Department and a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Buckshorn; daughters, Barbara Carrier of Satellite Beach, Fla., Beverly Brewer of Davenport, Fla., and Bonnie Coolidge of Dayton, Ohio; a son, Bradford H. Buckshorn Jr. of Roswell, Ga.; a sister, Vivian Ankenbauer of Covington; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, Chattanooga, Tenn. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, 612 James Blvd., Signal Mountain, Tenn. 37377.

Charles Melvin Buechel, 71, of Fort Thomas, died at 11:03 p.m. Sunday at St. Luke Hospital East in Fort Thomas.

He was the past owner/operator of Buechel Brothers Grocery, Newport; past owner/operator of the Rankin-Buechel Real Estate Company, Erlanger; and an admission ticket collector at Turfway Park, Florence.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille Smalling Buechel; daughters, Carol Weber of Fort Wright, Connie Cahill of Taylor Mill, and Cathy Weber and Chris Franxman, both of Burlington; a son Chuck Buechel of Lexington; brothers, Jack Buechel of Fort Mitchell, Rob Buechel of Wilder, Roy Buechel of Latonia, Jim Buechel of Fort Thomas, Richard Buechel of Southgate and Bill Buechel of Union; and 12 grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Church, Fort Thomas. Prayers will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to Multiple Sclerosis Society, 4460 Lake Forest Dr., Suite 236, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242.

James "Jesse" Chaplin, 30, of Bromley, died Saturday at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was a former stock clerk for IGA and a member of Crescent Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Fahnestock Chaplin; sons, Jesse Frank Chaplin and Dustin Leon Chaplin, both of Demossville, and James Tyler Chaplin and Duke Hunter Chaplin, both of Bromley; his mother, Ina Jane Martin of Bromley; his father, Melvin Chaplin; brothers, Harvey Frank Leonard Martin Jr. of Ludlow and Jeff Martin of Covington; sisters, Mary Jent of Bellevue, Pam Hatton of Newport, and Martha Miracle, Ina Martin and Jackie Martin, all of Bromley.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to the Jesse Chaplin Family Fund, c/o Home Savings Bank, 202 Elm St., Ludlow, Kentucky 41016.

Marie Craycraft, 94, of Ludlow, died at 7 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Care Center in Covington. She was a retired production worker for Clopay Corporation, Cincinnati. Her first husband, Walter Perry, died in 1953. Her second husband, Howard Craycraft, died in 1962. A son, Walter "Lefty" Perry, died in 1970.

Survivors include a grandson, Scott Bradley Perry of Ludlow; a granddaughter, Tracy Susan Hamilton of Fort Wright; and great-granddaughter, Stefanie Hamilton of Fort Wright.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Alice L. Beverly Doan, 84, of Florence, died at 7:25 a.m. Monday at Woodspoint Care Center in Florence. She was a bookkeeper and teller at First National Bank, Covington, and a member of Lakeside Christian Church, Lakeside Park. Her husband, Chester Doan, died in February.

Survivors include a niece, Barbara Ann Sumner of Covington; and a nephew, Marvin Martin of Arizona.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lakeside Christian Church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to Lakeside Christian Church, 195 Buttermilk Pike, Lakeside Park, Kentucky 41017.

Jaunita Dunaway, 80, of Dayton, died Monday at St. Luke Hospital East in Fort Thomas. She was a seamstress for Saturday Knight Limited, Cincinnati, a member of Dayton Eagles and Daughters of America, and past president of the Seamstress Union.

Survivors include a son, James Dunaway of Dayton; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Wednesday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Bellevue. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate.

Kendall O. Flannery, 60, of Newport, died Friday at the Highlands of Fort Thomas Nursing Home. He was a skycap for Delta Airlines.

Survivors include brothers, Michael Flannery of Cold Spring and Herschel K. Flannery Jr. of Dickson, Tenn.

Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Mary A. O'Connell Kelly, 85, of Lakeside Park, died at 7:35 p.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South in Edgewood. She was a homemaker and a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Fort Mitchell, Women's Auxiliary at St. Charles Care Center, Covington; and she was a volunteer at the Parish Kitchen, Covington.

Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Kelly; a son, Kevin J. Kelly of Harrison, Ohio; a sister, Rita Benz of Sarasota, Fla.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Church, Fort Mitchell. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Erlanger, is handling arrangements.

George E. Mitchell, 84, of Florence, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence. He was a machinist for Panama Canal Co. His wife, Beulah Janet Mitchell, died in 1999.

Survivors include a son, Brent Mitchell of Florence; sisters, Barbara Mitchell and Vera Vennoit, both of Saco, Maine; a brother, Milton Mitchell of Saco, Maine; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

No services are planned. Burial will be in Pittsfield, Mass., Cemetery. Stith Funeral Home, Florence, is handling arrangements.

Mary Eileen Morris, 80, of Fort Wright, died at 12:20 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North Hospice Unit in Covington.

She was a retired clerk for the IRS, Covington, and a member of First United Methodist Church, Covington where she served on the Board of Directors for Day Care as the secretary and treasurer.

Survivors include her husband, Robert B. Morris; a son, Dr. James Morris of Fort Wright; a daughter, Beverly Martin of Ludlow; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell. Memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church, 131 E. 5th St., Covington, Kentucky 41011; or St. Elizabeth Hospice, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Kentucky 41014.

Linda P. Ormes, 63, of Maysville, died Saturday at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville. She was an employee of Crounse Barge Lines, Maysville, and the Mason County Museum, Maysville. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Maysville.

Survivors include daughters, Kim Rigdon of Maysville and Stephanie Fryman of Ewing; sons, Greg Ormes and Jeff Ormes, both of Maysville; a brother, Tim Power ; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church, with prayers at 7:30 p.m.

Burial will be in Brooksville Cemetery.

Ella Lloyd Riley, 85, of Carrollton, died Monday at King's Daughter Hospital, Madison, Ind.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Carrollton. Her husband, William Riley, died in 1987.

Survivors include a brother, Turner Lloyd of Carrollton.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, Carrollton. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery.
