Thelma L. Wood Hart, 85, of Highland Heights, died Friday at her home. She was a member of Church of Christ Summit, Cold Spring, and was active in her children's school, where she was a past president of the PTA.

After she and her husband retired to Florida, she became active with the Henry Flager Museum, the Child Keeper Program and the Parent Child Study Center in Palm Beach, Fla. Her husband, Jesse A. Hart, preceded her in death.

Survivors include sons, Alvin Hart of Highland Heights and Merrill Hart of Alexandria; daughters, Delores McLaurine of Edgewood, Sherry Murray of Cold Spring, Tish Rademaker of Fort Thomas, Joyce Reynolds of West Palm Beach and Bonnie Robinson of Paris; a sister, Catherine Mansfield of Mount Sterling; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate.

Ernest B. Hillenmeyer III, 46, of Richmond, formerly of Maysville, died Wednesday while on a business trip in Holland. He was a senior staff engineer with Iams Co. and a member of St. Mary Church, Maysville. He was an exalted ruler with Elks Lodge No. 649, Maysville.

Survivors include his wife, Beth Hoovler Hillenmeyer; daughters, Sara Hillenmeyer and Zoe Hillenmeyer, both at home; his parents, Rev. Ernest B. and Mary Farrell Hillenmeyer of Brooksville; sisters, Zoe Gillespie of Lexington, Theresa Mattei of Louisville, Cece Denegre of Philadelphia, Ellen Hillenmeyer of Cincinnati and Katy Von Brauchitsch of Flat Rock, N.C.; and a brother, Paul Hillenmeyer of Dry Ridge.

Memorial services will be at 7:30 tonight at Riggle-Waltermann Funeral Home, Richmond. Memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Church, Maysville. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7:30 tonight at the Riggle-Waltermann Funeral Home and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Church Rectory.

Robert Warren Mee, 76, of Burlington, died Sunday at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Cincinnati.

He was an electronic technician with NA-DO TV and Radio Repair in Florence, a member of Walton Baptist Church, VFW, Disabled American Veterans and American Legio, and a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Blanche Osborne Mee; a son, Donald Mee of Crittenden; a daughter, Nancy Pugh of Falmouth; a stepson, James Perkins of Hebron; stepdaughters, Cheryl Grant of Hebron, Joyce Hendricks of Fort Worth, Texas, and Judy Gilbert of Florence; a sister, Frances Hensley of Erlanger; three grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger.

Ruth Johnson Miller, 95, of Falmouth, died Sunday at her home. She was an employee of the former Daugherty Lumber Co., in Falmouth and a member of Falmouth Christian Church. Her husband, Harry Richard Miller, died in 1959. A son, Tom Richard Miller, died in 1995.

Survivors include a son, George Edward Miller of Falmouth; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Melba Mount, 79, of Cincinnati, died Saturday at her home. She was a general laborer. Her husband, Theodore Mount, and two daughters, Carol Ann Ferrell Combs and Deborah Jean Frazier, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Teddy Mount of Owenton; a daughter, Flo Doggett of Owenton; 11 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Owenton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at McDonald Funeral Home, Main Street, Owenton. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Lois Reid, 66, of Butler, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker and a member of Butler Christian Church, But ler Women's Club, Butler Christian Women Fellowship, the Democratic Women's Club and was a former secretary with Kincaid Lake State Park.

Survivors include her husband, Delbert Reid; daughters, Rebecca Ernstes of Petersburg, Robin Mulloy of Butler and Rita Spencer of Falmouth; brothers, Jimmy Stilwell of Tulsa, Okla., and Charles Stilwell of Macon, Ga.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peoples Funeral Home, Butler. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery.

Ann Bomkamp Balling Reusch, 89, of Villa Hills, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.

She was an assistant office manager with Prudential Insurance, and a member of St. Henry Church in Elsmere and Northern Kentucky Right to Life. A son, William Reusch, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Jerome Balling of Cincinnati; daughters, Joann Baute of Lakeside Park and Dorothy Stricker of Dry Ridge; a sister, Rosemary Borchers of Erlanger; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and nieces, Judy Mattingly of Georgetown, Anita Mattingly of Florence, Patti Costell of Richmond, Debbi Borchers of Fort Mitchell, Jodi Vance of Cincinnati and Julie Borchers of Gaithersburg, Md., who were her caretakers.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Madonna Manor Nursing Home, Villa Hills. Visitation will begin there at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Noel E. Sharp, 93, of Erlanger, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Gallatin Care Center, Warsaw. He was a retired farmer and a Navy veteran of World War II. His wife, Sophia Sharp, died in 1971.

Survivors include daughters, Joan Prindle of Erlanger and Jane Sharp of Milledgeville, Ga.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kings Cemetery, Rockhold. Catchen Funeral Home, Elsmere, is handling arrangements.

Donald Willhoit, construction chief,
loved family, antiques, old cars

Donald Lewis Willhoit of Fort Thomas always managed a smile even while fighting cancer.

"The neatest thing about him was his playful attitude," said his son, David Willhoit of Fort Thomas. "You could just sit down with him and even in the midst of his disease and all his pain, he would try to put a smile on his face and try to talk to you as if you were a friend.'

Mr. Willhoit, 52, of Fort Thomas, died Tuesday at his home. He was a project superintendent with Pilot Building Contractors in Erlanger. He also was a former Army Reservist.

Mr. Willhoit collected antiques and had a booth a the Florence Antique Mall. He enjoyed golf and in his younger days he loved restoring old cars.

Mr. Willhoit was a handyman and built the family's home.

Other survivors include his wife, Carolyn Willhoit; son Ryan Willhoit of Fort Thomas; his father, Hugh Thomas Willhoit of Georgetown; and a brother, Lloyd Thomas Willhoit of Georgetown.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate.

Sylvester F. Bertram, 92, of Highland Heights, died at 2:02 p.m. Monday at Lakeside Place Nursing Home in Highland Heights. He was a retired auto mechanic. His wife, Loretta Schloemer Bertram, died in 1994.

Survivors include sons, Donald Bertram of Columbia, S.C., James Bertram of Batesville, Ind., Charles Bertram of LaCrosse, Wis., David Bertram of Cold Spring, Brother Nerbert Bertram of Cincinnati and Jerome Bertram of Eau Claire, Wis.; sisters, Helen Becker of Fort Meyers, Fla., and Dorothy Knipper of Highland Heights; brothers, Joseph Bertram of Alexandria, Robert Bertram of Falmouth and Elmer Bertram of Cold Spring; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Albert J. Bill, 82, of Cincinnati, died Tuesday at Western Hills Retirement Village, Cincinnati. He was an insurance agent.

Survivors include his wife, Loraine Gener Bill; sons, Don Bill of Wilder and Joe Bill; daughters, Lorie Turner of Alexandria and Karen Holthaus; brothers, Bob Bill, Ray Bill, Frank Bill and Carl Bill; sis ters, Dorothy Gasdorf and Helen Walters; nine grandchildren.

Wilma Curry, 80, of West Covington, died at 1:15 p.m. Monday at her son's home in Milford, Ohio. She was a retired clerk with Reuben H. Donnelley Co., Cincinnati. Her husband, George Curry, died in 1979.

Survivors include a son, Patrick Curry of Milford; a daughter, Nancy Brown of Cincinnati; a brother, Bud McKenney of Mason, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

Deborah Lynn Yager Runge, 34, of Independence, died at 6:32 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was the manager of Emerson's Bakery in Florence, and a member of Holy Cross Church, Latonia. She was a volunteer with Beech Grove Elementary School.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Edward Runge; daughters, Stephanie Nicole Yager and Karlie Marie Runge, both of Independence; her parents, Daniel and Geneva Yager of Covington; and sisters, Daniell Carol Leeke of Florence, Dena Jean Yager and Denise Renee Kampe, both of Covington.

Marguerite "Dee" Neal Schomaker, 86, of Stuart, Fla., formerly of Fort Wright, died April 24 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart. She was a secretary with an insurance company and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Stuart.

She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Latonia, and Order of the Eastern Star Bradford Lodge No. 123. Her husband, George Travis Snedegar, died in 1971. A son, George David Snedegar, died in 1980. A daughter, Charlene Mastin, died in 1990.

William E. Sturgil, 67, of Latonia, died at 9:40 a.m. Sunday at his home. He was a retired technician with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
