M., Sunday, March 30, 2003, in Campbellsville. Age: 58. She had professed faith in Christ and attended the Campbellsville Church of the Nazarene. She united in marriage to Elmer “Buddy” Hoosier Jr. May 22, 1975. Besides her husband, Buddy Hoosier of Birdie Avenue, Campbellsville, she is survived by her mother, Dorothy Polston of Campbellsville; four sisters and two brothers: Katie Brockman, Junior Polston, Dwight David Polston, and Patty Polston of Campbellsville, Rena Melton of Albany and Brenda Wolverton of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Dicken.

RONNIE SHARP
Ronnie Sharp of Wise Road, Campbellsville, son of Loretta Perkins Sharp and the late William T. “Bill” Sharp, was born icon March 31, 1949, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:28 A. M., Friday, March 28, 2003, in Louisville. Age: 53He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Robinson Creek Baptist Church. He was an employee of Parker Kalon. He united in marriage to Sharon Bright August 27, 1971. Besides his wife, Sharon Sharp of Wise Road, Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and one son, Shannon Sharp and Jeff Sharp of Campbellsville; mother, Loretta Sharp of Campbellsville; one brother and his wife, Gary and Mary Ann Sharp; several aunts and uncles and many other relatives and friends.

MAUREEN RUSSELL CLAYCOMB, AGE 55
Mrs. Maureen Russell Claycomb, age 55, of Anna Court, Campbellsville died at her residence on October 16, 2003. She was the daughter of the late Morris D. Russell of Marion County and Bernice Russell of Campbellsville. Mrs. Claycomb was a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Ricky Claycomb, two grand-daughters, Jacquelyn Nicole and Brittany Anna Claycomb all of Campbellsville also survive along with a host of friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Maureen Russell Claycomb were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 18, 2003 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Brother John Coomer and Brother Skip Alexander officiated.

ELIZABETH GOLDSMITH EMBRY, AGE 83
Elizabeth Goldsmith Embry Mrs. Elizabeth Goldsmith Embry, age 83, Ingram Avenue, Campbellsville died Sunday October 12, 2003 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Aileen Parrott Goldsmith of Taylor County. She was a retired employee of the Fruit of The Loom Company in Campbellsville. Mrs. Embry was also preceded in death by her son Stephen Embry in 1959. She is survived by her husband, Willis Embry of Campbellsville and several nieces and nephews also survive along with a host of friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth G. Embry were conducted at 11:00 A. M. Saturday October 18, 2003 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery. Broth James T. Washington officiated.

LEONA BELL
Leona Bell, of Mt. Holly Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Taylor County, daughter of the late Alvin Philpott and Edna Wright Philpott was born icon in Green County, Kentucky, August 4, 1934. She died Monday, October 13, 2003, in Louisville. Age: 69. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Victory Memorial Baptist Church. She was a retired restaurant worker. She united in marriage to Albert Bell, who preceded her in death. She is survived by one brother, James Philpott of Louisville, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral SERVICES: 10:00 A. M., Wednesday, October 15th at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home in Louisville

CHARLENE BROCKMAN
Charlene Brockman of Candace Street, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Virgil Corbin and Lyda Price Martin was born icon in Adair County, Kentucky, April 14, 1957. She died at 11:21 P. M. Sunday, October 5, 2003, in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Age: 46 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a Nurse’s Aide at Taylor Regional Hospital for twenty years. She united in marriage to David Brockman May 14, 1976. Besides her husband, David Brockman of Candace Street, Campbellsville, she is survived by one son and his wife, Tim and Asha Brockman of Campbellsville; seven siblings: Marlene Bell, Paula Faye Cox, James Corbin and Michelle Shaw of Campbellsville, Freda Wash of Nicholasville, Jessie Gabbert of Decatur, Tennessee, and Lloyd Gabbert of Oak Grove, Georgia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two siblings: Rita Hafley and Juanita Morgeson. The family had private visitation and memorial service.

Letha Rivers of Roberts Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late James R. Roberts and Atha Lura Benningfield Roberts was born icon in Taylor County, Kentucky, September 15, 1908. She died at 8:10 P. M., Friday, October 10, 2003, in Campbellsville. Age: 95 She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a long time employee of the Lermans Department Store. She united in marriage to Kenneth Hershel Rivers who preceded her in death January 12, 1947. She is survived by two sons and two daughters: Jewell Dean Skiles of Louisville, Wendell Rivers and wife, Ouida of Campbellsville, Wanda Goerz and husband, Jerry of Lexington, and Jim Rivers and wife, Michele of Miami; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two sisters: Ollie Goodin and Mattie Mings of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Lou Wheatley in March, 2003; one granddaughter: Judy Skiles; and one brother and two sisters: Fred Roberts, Mamie Murrah, and Rosa Mae Reeves.

Donnie R. Munford, of Wellington Park, Campbellsville, son of the late William M. Munford Sr. and Margaret Campbell Munford was born icon in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 12, 1937. He died at 7:30 A. M., Friday, October 10, 2003, in Campbellsville. Age: 66 He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. He retired from the Kentucky Army National Guard as a Major, and was a retired insurance agent. He united in marriage to Kathy Buckler Wright June 11, 1977. Besides his wife, Kathy Munford of Wellington Park, Campbellsville, he is survived by six children: Danny Munford of Bowling Green, Lisa Neal of Clarksville, Indiana, Stephen Munford of Georgetown, Indiana; Donnie Munford, Jr., Shannon Wright and Chris Wright of Campbellsville; nine grandchildren: Brittany Munford of Bowling Green, Grant Campbell of Clarksville, Indiana, Audrey Munford of Georgetown, Indiana, Cody Cox, Clay Wright, Katelyn Gosser, Angela Munford, Josh Munford and Lewis Bernard of Campbellsville; one great-granddaughter, Hayley Linville of Campbellsville; one brother and one sister: William M. Munford, Jr. of Campbellsville and Raegena Regets of Hamilton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Munford, June 29, 1999.

HELEN "CHICKEN" GAULT, AGE 85
Helen “Chicken” Gault 85 Mrs. Helen “Chicken” Gault, age 85 of West Saloma Road, Campbellsville, died Thursday, October 9, 2003 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine Baiers Rogers of Taylor County. She was a former employee of Coyles Drug Store and H and W Sport Shop in Campbellsville. She was a member of the Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Mrs. Helen Gault is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David and Clarissa Gault of Campbellsville, one grandson, Travis Ray Gault of Louisville, one nephew and two nieces, Anthony Button of Campbellsville. Mary Kay Sanders of Hodgenville and Marilyn Rucker of Elizabethtown. Funeral services for Mrs. Helen “Chicken” Gault were conducted at 11:00 A. M. Monday at the Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Father Jeffery Leger officiated.

HOWARD MONTGOMERY FEESE, AGE 79
Howard Montgomery Feese 79 Mr. Howard Montgomery Feese, age 79 of Taylor Avenue, Campbellsville died Wednesday October 8, 2003 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. He was the son of Wiley and Ethel Monroe Feese of Adair County. He was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church and he served his country in the Navy during WWII aboard the U. S. S. Venus in the South Pacific. He was employed by the Carnation Milk Company in Campbellsville for nineteen years and he served as business agent for the Teamsters Local #783 from 1967-1980. He also was preceded in death by his twin brother Harold Feese. Mr. Howard Feese is survived by his wife Opal Feese, two sons and one daughter, Mitchel and Michael Feese, Teresa Wheatley all of Campbellsville, seven grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, one sister Evelyn Cheatham of Campbellsville also survives along with other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services for Mr. Howard Montgomery Feese were conducted at 11:00 A. M. Friday, October 10, 2003 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Chapel with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Brother James Jones and Brother J. Chester Badgett officiated.

VERA BLEVINS
Vera Blevins of Bowling Green, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Edward Y. Shearer and Lorcy Blakey Shearer was born icon in Russell County, Kentucky, June 26, 1912. She died at 7:34 P. M., Sunday, October 5, 2003, in Woodburn, Kentucky. Age: 91 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College and taught school a few years before devoting her full time to being a mother and housewife. She united in marriage to Thomas Blevins January 26, 1937. He preceded her in death March 16, 2000. She is survived by two sons and their wives: Dr. T. J. and Georgia Blevins of Bowling Green and Dr. Ronald and Diana Blevins of Santa Rosa, California; five grandchildren: Jill Hanes, Chris Blevins, and Mia Morris of Bowling Green and Andrew Blevins and Anna Blevins of Santa Rosa, California; six great-grandchildren: Josh Hanes, Caleb Hanes, Rachel Blevins, Meritt Blevins, McKenzie Morris, and Max Morris of Bowling Green; several other relatives and friends. Timothy Dwight Sullivan Timothy Dwight Sullivan, age 9, of Jade lane, Campbellsville died Saturday, October 4, 2003 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. He was the son of Patricia Kay Sammons of Campbellsville and brother of Jared Allen Sammons. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Edith Hicks. Timothy is also survived by his grandmother Patricia Sue Miller of Campbellsville, two Aunts and two Uncles, Patricia Howard of Louisville, Ronda Garrett, Kenny Howard and Raymond Garrett all of Campbellsville. Several other relatives and a host of friends also survive. Funeral services for Timothy Dwight Sammons will be conducted at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday October 7, 2003 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Brookside Cemetery. Brother Carl Lee and Brother Darrell Ford officiated.

MILDRED SANDERS
Mildred Sanders of Sheridan Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Lefrey Colvin and Lucille Hill Colvin was born icon March 27, 1926, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 7:59 A. M., Tuesday, February 17, 2004, in Bardstown. Age: 77 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She retired from the Taylor County School System after thirty-six years of teaching. She united in marriage to Henry A. Sanders. He preceded her in death February, 1965. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Henry Sanders of Orlando, Florida and Jana Sanders White of Bardstown. Graveside services were held at 12:00 Noon, Thursday, February 19, 2004 at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

JUANITA S. MCGLOCKLIN, AGE 78

Juanita S. McGlocklin 78 Mrs. Juanita S. McGlocklin, age 78, of Wildflower Drive Campbellsville, died Sunday, February 15, 2004, at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. She was the daughter of the late David Sapp and Clara Rhodes Sapp. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one grandson, Philip Marshall Hays. She is survived by her husband, Marshall McGlocklin, two daughters and son-in-law, Marcia Winn of Louisville, Mitzi and Philip Hay of Campbellsville, two grandchildren, David and Stephen Winn of Louisville, a special niece and nephew Joe and Sissy Scott of North Carolina, along with several nieces and nephews a host of friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita McGlocklin were conducted at 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, February 18, 2004, at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Rev. James Loy and Bro. Jason England officiating.
